Elie Tahari

I recently bought a very warm and beautiful coat from Elie Tahari and can’t thank Nicole enough for all of her help. I had to have the coat shipped from another location and she went above and beyond to make sure it was available, shipped properly and when there was a price discrepancy, she immediately fixed it without me having to go back to the store. Her extra help made my shopping experience very easy and would shop here again– ask for Nicole to help!

Elie Tahari has not allowed me to return items within the 14 days return policy. Very disappointed.

Ladies, if you are a six 6 or 8, you MUST go to this sample sale. On the second floor of the SE corner office building of 5^th Ave and 42^nd, is a treasure trove of amazing dresses, blouses, suits, and sweaters. The space is a little tight this year, but things are kept pretty clean. Do know that you will have to do a good amount of digging as racks are not organized by size. Sizes range from 0 to 14, but if you’re a 6, 8, or 10, you’re in their sweet spot. (If you’re a fellow 0, I cleaned them out so don’t bother! :)
Gentlemen, there is a small section for you in the back with blazers, fall coats, and such. If there isn’t a line outside, be sure to check it out!

Is it me, or does it seem like the Elie Tahari sample sale is «shrinking»?
This will be my 4^th year attending the sample sale — first year, I got some great work shirts and jewelry, second year, I got a great cocktail dress, some flats and a shirt, last year I got some jackets.
This year, I was determined to get a new suit (which I did) and I wanted also to find a leather jacket and also a cocktail dress. I was very disappointmented this year to find a limited selection of leather jackets — the one I liked was already in production.(I remember the first year and a group of us fighting over a ¾ length taupe dye cut leather trench coat. Ah, the days.) Also, there used to be many dress selections to choose from, but this year I felt very limited.
I will go back next year (and to the fall one if they have it) because I love Elie Tahari, but I am no longer feeling like the enchanted princess swept away by the beauty of one-​of items designed by a cutting edge fashion team.
Is Elie Tahari losing its «edge»?
I hope not, but I do have my concerns.

I LOVE this store and shop here whenever possible. I’ve had the good fortune of working with Ryan, a sales associate there, who is incredibly attentive and patient with me– as a result I have quite a few of their dresses!
I really like their HUGE assortment of styles and sizes– I’ve never walked out of that store empty-​handed. The quality, colors and finishing touches these products possess are wonderful. I always feel FAB when I wear my Elie Tahari clothes, which enhance my talents and minimize my flaws.
