Great product! So glad I made the way out here after my friend’s recommendation. For those of you who do not know, COS is under the H&M Group and has 7 stores in the states(NYC, Houston, Boston and LA). The store has an awesome selection of basics at Zara pricing! It’s super chic, wearable, affordable and just my style… and it’s a lot of solids! Yay. For me it’s a James Perse that meets Zara. Service is a bit slow and you have to ask for help but once you got their attention, the staff is awesome at finding what you need. Just be sure to speak up and be prepared to wait in line at the cash wrap since it’s a slow process. Warning: I overhead a sales associate with another customer and you must be present to return(no shipping back to store) and if you buy online they will print a shipping label in-store so you can return it online.

Visitors, beware of return policy: I went to this store on a fashionable friend’s recommendation, desperate to update my work wardrobe. The clothes look nice from afar, but a lot of them weren’t very flattering. I finally decided on a basic white shirt, but regretted the purchase within hours because it was too boxy at the bottom. Returning to my home state, I looked into returning it. I called the store staff and online customer service, and kept hearing(to my disbelief) that they couldn’t accept returns by mail, even though there is an online business and they accept returns of online orders by mail. What year is this? What other online businesses with brick and mortar stores don’t allow returns by mail? LL Bean was doing this in the 90s. Come on, get with the times, especially on 5th Ave where I’d imagine a lot of shoppers are visitors.

I am so excited to see that COS has official set it’s roots in Midtown :) I discovered COS in Hong Kong, but so happy that I don’t have to lug back all my goods across the pond now.
