Went there and got take out. Sesame chicken, white rice, and coke. Extremely delicious and glatt kosher to all my peeps who follow the code. I was upset because when i got back to my office there was no fork or napkins. Apparently you either have to ask or locate the station and set yourself up in which case someone should point you in that direction. Overall i will do again.

it is not the greatest kosher place but it is pretty good if you work in the area or just happen to be near by and decide to grab food. service is quick .also, delivery is very prompt. i usually order sushi, which i think much better then average kosher sushi. lunch special offers good compromise price/quality/quantity.

Ate here for quick dinner. First Asian restaurant we saw. Menu had no pork and items cooked kosher. Food a little plain and simple. Not sure if we will eat here with first impression.

Me and my children used to like this place a lot. They practically jacked up their price past year or so for more than 30% and done nothing to the place. Dishes are not as good and as fresh as they used to be. My son a Chinese food lover does not even care for the food there anymore. For a non fancy place or take out food nearly 13.00 to $ 15.00 for small size lunch menu of one person I think is ridicules. It is shame that we are so limited on these type of kosher foods in NYC, so they charge what they like.

Eden Wok is not one of the greatest kosher Chinese places, but it’s not bad. It’s convenient for those working or learning in the area, such as the lovely rebbetzins in training of Stern College. Delivery through Grubhub was prompt, and the food came hot and properly wrapped. The sweet sauce for the fried wontons was yummy, and the wontons themselves were not greasy. A Chinese steak sandwich was tender, well seasoned, and the baguette was soft on the inside, fresh, and crispy on the outside. On a previous occasion, I had a fried tofu dish with vegetables and white rice that was very good. Cleanliness is sort of lacking, sadly, which is a shame in a kosher place. They often run very good specials, such as buy one get half off the second dinner entrée. I’d like to try some of those entrees one of these days, especially the duck and veal dishes. They seem to be owned by the same folks as Pitopia.

Very tasty and fresh grub! It wasn’t a knock my socks of kind of spot, however– really good and worth a repeat visit. I kept it simple– ordered, egg rolls and beef lomein. Would definitely go back for a repeat. Also, was pretty crowded for a Tuesday night, and the service was quick and prompt.

Horrible. Sushi rolls are disgusting and the fish is not fresh. The rice was also very mushy. Avoid this place.

I went in on a Thurs night at 9p as I was trying to find something open to grab a quick bite. No one in the place. Usually a bad sign, but it’s in midtown, around offices, so I figured maybe it empties out at night and they have great takeout. I was a bit surprised by the prices on the menu that were more akin to an actual Chinese sit-down restaurant. I mean, if I’m not mistaken, this place had a self-serve soda machine, and they were selling(old-looking) subway-style cookies by the register. I decided to go for something basic that I figured would be a safe choice. Chicken-fried rice. It was wasn’t. That’s all I can judge the place on, but it wasn’t good. I wound up throwing most of it away.

Amazing beef sticks. Best I’ve ever had. Overall the food is tasty and you don’t feel like you are cooking with the food– nicely ventilated.

FOODPOISONING I love Chinese food and ordered sesame chicken with chicken dumplings. I had to spit out every other bite due to the chewy low quality chicken. There was a single piece of broccoli, the fried rice was uneatable, and the dumplings were soggy freezer burned mush balls. I simply wasn’t satisfied until I got home and spent the night SICKTHROWINGMYGUTSUP. The meat is bad or the employees aren’t clean because I suffered food poisoning for 24 hours after eating the garbage they pass off as food. They should be ashamed of themselves. Sorry Eden wok, unacceptable.

I’ve ordered twice from this place. The first time the food came quickly and was extremely delicious. I had the crispy fried beef. It was really good. The second time I had the pepper steak with brown rice. It was delicious, but the delivery took a lot longer than I would have liked. But it was a very rainy day and they were swamped with deliveries so I wasn’t that upset by it.

I ordered a sushi«Rainbow Roll» which is a common and typical sushi item. It’s a California roll(mock crab, carrots, avocado and rice) rolled up and then covered in slices of salmon, avocado and tuna. After eating a few pieces, I was surprised to find mine was missing the mock crab inside. I asked about this at the counter & was told«you have to order it separately and it costs extra.» After saying I had eaten Rainbow Rolls at other places and it contained the mock crab automatically, he said, «well, this is a kosher restaurant so that’s why it costs more.» THISISNOTGOODCUSTOMERSERVICE. Eventually someone who appeared to be a manager told me he’d make me a new roll, but I was already disgusted with their principle of charging extra for a basic food item & how I was treated and that I refused. Lesson to apply at this establishment — Be aware of what you are getting before ordering.

Absolutely POOR service! I placed an order an hour from the time that we needed lunch. all was fine until that hour passed. I call them up to ask where the food was and was told the order had not even been placed. There was some apparent ‘mix-up’ with my order… needless to say, I will NEVER order from them as they are extremely disorganized. They have made errors a few times before but I wanted to give this place a chance… wrong decision. If I could give them zero stars I would.

DON’T GOTHERE, I went there once before and my stomach hurt for 2 days. I saw a staff smoking outside and came right back in to work, DIDNTWASHHANDS! What’s more, ITISVERYEXPENSIVE compare to other Chinese restaurant. I couldnt believe my eyes when i saw that a LUNCHSPECIAL was $ 11.95. And Salmon Sushi(2 piece) COST $ 5.75, and if you dont know, the high-end sushi restaurant NOBU, only charge $ 5. INCONCLUSION, DONTGO!

Eden Wok’s quality has recently gone WAY down. We ordered General Tso’s chicken last week and it actually quite hard to find the chicken. Basically, what we got was a mound of batter, covered in sauce, with tiny pieces of dry chicken hidden inside here & there. I’m glad this isn’t our only Chinese option… we’ll be going to other places from now on unless we have to be in midtown… in which case, we’d probably just choose a different type of cuisine.
