Best laundromat on the UES! The kind gentleman running the store is extremely flexible with payment and friendly. Always tries his hardest to remove my stains, even washing/dry cleaning a second time FORFREE when they don’t come out! A++++ customer service and quality!

Tip: credit cards only accepted for $ 20 and up This is my go to place for drop off laundry service. It’s 75 cents per pound and the owner is always very pleasant. One time I went to pick up my laundry for same day service and it wasn’t there yet, so he brought it to my apartment 15 minutes later. The only issue I have is that I’ve lost a ton of socks, but I think this is consistent for drop off places that send it out to industrial laundry. I recommend!

If I could I would put no stars. This place consistently opens late resulting in me waiting outside for them to open when I drop off for work. The latest insult to injury was I had my comforter included in my normal wash. Once again the asian old man showed up late in the morning and told me he couldn’t weigh it so he said he would do it afterwards. I picked up my laundry paying $ 20 for the comforter and the normal price for my wash and fold. I took my comforter home and put it on my bed only to find a GIANT melted hole in it. I don’t know what chemical or heat this place used but it melted a whole in my comforter. I went back to the place with pictures the next day explaining my case and they got defensive immediately, pointed at a sign and said too bad. All I wanted was the $ 20 back for washing it, I wasn’t even asking for reimbursement of my comforter. They started yelling at me and said no it’s not their problem and I put the hole there myself. Frustrated I explained I’ve been going to get my wash done there for almost a year and I clearly have never complained about anything till this. They told me they didn’t care about my loyalty to them and said too bad about the comforter. What happened to customer service?

I was verbally assaulted by the owner for needing to use a credit card when the business accepts credit cards. I live near this tailor but rarely visit as there is a tailor ten blocks down that does a great job for half of the price but last week I only had one item so was lazy and brought my item here. When I went to pick up my item which was $ 28(for bringing a cotton maxi up 1 inch) I gave the owner a credit card. He said I had to pay cash. I apologized and said that I only had card, I also pointed out that the sign on the register and my receipt said cash only for purchases under $ 20 and my purchase was over. The owner then began shouting at me that he told me cash only when I dropped the dress off and I needed to be more sorry. I calmly stated that I was sorry again, that I would not come back as I did not like the way I was being spoken to but that credit was all I had. The owner then raised his voice even more and shouted at me to be quiet, that he doesn’t need or want my business and that I should be more sorry. He continued shouting at me even as I was leaving and even though I was not engaging in his argument.
