This location is pretty clean, and it was empty when I went in. Still, it took about 2 minutes before the employee took my order. She was doing something at the espresso/coffee machine, but she knew I was there. I was taught(back when I worked in food services) to drop whatever you are doing to help a customer, especially if what you are doing is not urgent. But whatever. Maybe that’s no longer the standard. After I paid, the employee returned my credit card and went to heat up my sandwich. I wanted my receipt so I just took it from the machine myself since it was right in front of me, but the employee did not know this since her back was turned. However, after giving me my sandwich she made no move to go get my receipt for me. I get that lots of people don’t want their receipts, but you should still ask. Especially if you have a sign up saying that customers who don’t get their receipt can get a refund. I got the pork roll sandwich, which is something new I believe. The advertisements make it look pretty good, and I can clearly see 2 slices of pork in the pictures. But in reality, it’s only 1 slice. The sandwich is kind of small, but tastewise it’s what I expected it to taste like. Not bad, but nothing special.

So I ordered an onion bagel toasted with butter. All appeared well on the surface but it wasn’t until I took a bite that I lost my appetite. Apparently, they do not wipe the knives they use to cut sandwiches because I bit into the taste of ketchup. I despise ketchup. Never ordering from this location ever again. Dirty and disgusting.

It may be strange to review a Dunkin’ Donuts, but the two ladies who work at this location on weekend mornings are awesome. I think they’ve memorized half of their customers’ orders; The whole staff is really efficient!

As a west coaster who has to deal with east coasters talking about how they miss this place everyday, I knew on my first trip to NY that i had to stop by and see what they were talking about. I went in with high hopes and left kind of disappointed. I think it was a little over hyped. Don’t get me wrong I’m all about coffee and donuts,(and no I’m not a foodie snob). I’m as happy with a 7 – 11 coffee as i am with a blue bottle coffee or Phil’s but this was average coffee… ok maybe a little better than average but nothing special. I did like how they had many flavored creams(i had the french vanilla, a hazelnut, & some other one on my 3 different visits). The donuts were good, and very dunk able. i liked the donut holes even more. The breakfast bagel was horrible. The bagel was over toasted and i could not eat the top part. The funny part was the guy behind the counter saw me trying to eat the bagel. When i made eye contact he quickly turned around and started fixing the donuts behind him, so i didn’t bother to ask for another, i just ate what i could and left the rest. Also there were no trash cans for me to throw my stuff away which i though was weird. Overall i though it was average at best and would not go out of my way to visit this place, but might give it another chance if or when they come out west.

Starbucks was out of Gingerbread syrup to make a latte in mid-January, and this DD was still stocked, so 4 stars for me!

Every time when I order my iced coffee with hazelnut flavor in it. They make it too sweet or too much hazelnut flavor. Service is ok but just get the coffee right damn it!!! This place is more touristy since is right on Canal street where the imitation people tries to sell them. It’s such a convenient location for me but I’m never happy what I get. I rather go to the one onCanal street where they make it better.
