We just used Delectica for our office hotel fair, a two day event and the food, presentation and overall service was amazing. I strongly recommend using Delectica and its cordial and professional staff.

Terrible service and overpriced. Eggs were undercooked. We sent them back. Instead of giving us new eggs, they put the ones we sent back on the griddle for a few seconds — not long enough to cook them through. When they brought them back out, they were still undercooked. The wait staff never apologized nor even acknowledged that there was a problem.

We went to this location on a Sunday morning. It was a steady busy but was not overly crowded. The service was ok, but nothing that I would say was overly good or bad. I got the Israeli breakfast as was suggested by some other posts. I did not think it was overly special. Just a couple of eggs with some cheese and a cucumber salad. It was light, probably to light since I was still hungry after I was done. For $ 11 this seemed really overprice. It would have been nice to have some meat. I will say, I asked for hot sauce and instead of the typical bottle I was given a home made hot sauce. That was very good as well as the freshly squeezed orange juice.

This is my go-to breakfast place when I get tired of the unhealthy bacon, egg and cheese sandwich that I usually get. My favorite breakfast items are oatmeal(water-based) with 3 toppings and omelette sandwich with tomatoes, avocado and chipotle mayo. For the oatmeal, I usually get it with blueberries, strawberries and raspberries(fruit toppings are seasonal), but they have a variety of toppings for you to choose from. Their water based oatmeal is always lava hot, not lukewarm like some other breakfast places. When I get breakfast here, I would always get their omelette sandwich with tomatoes, hass avocado and chipotle mayo. Like any of their omelette sandwiches, you can choose either 7-grain bread or brioche. I recommend getting it on 7-grain bread, the texture and taste are much better. They are generous with the amount of avocado they put in this sandwich which I like :). The taste of the sandwich is really good. The only issue is that they get busy during breakfast time especially on the weekends. So make sure you get there or order online earlier. One time I ordered though at 10am on a Sunday, it ended up taking them about 1.5 hours to deliver the food order. I certainly understand that it’s because they are busy and that’s a good sign. I can’t wait to try their other breakfast items when I feel adventurous. For now, I am happy with my oatmeal and omelette sandwich :)

Delicious breakfast. Had egg and croissant sandwich and my friend had egg and bagel. I definitely appreciate some seasoned eggs. They also have freshly squeezed OJ and we tried some delicious pastries. Definitely get the carrot cake.

Delectica is a nice little place with fresh fare. They have a good variety on the menu, from breakfast sandwiches and pastries to warm plated items. The organic oatmeal is simple but add in choice toppings and make it your own(however, I could not find brown sugar; sugar in the raw — yes, but no brown sugar?) For a bit more food, try the Israeli breakfast with a variety of cheeses, herbed eggs and sliced avocados. This is such a nice combination, I wanted it for lunch as well! Whether seated indoors by a window wall or outdoors taking in city life, this café was a sweet treat to get the day going right.

Best smoked salmon sandwich i’ve ever had in my life. We were too late to order from the breakfast menu, but all the options looked amazing. The fresh squeezed orange juice was also delicious.

The owner of this deli actually approached me while I was eating oatmeal I bought at this place and asked me not to return because I had a coffee cup from a «competitor» this morning. I am writing this review so I can let everyone know the mindset of the business owners. I would never return here again to give the owners my business. Very upsetting.

What a great breakfast spot! On a recent trip to Manhattan, my wife and I found this place on Unilocal and stopped in for breakfast. It was outstanding! We each had an omelette sandwich. Mine was the #2 with goat cheese and my wife had the #1 with cream cheese. Both were very good. As good as the sandwiches were, the coffee was even better! Would definitely recommend if you’re on the East Side to stop at Delectica for breakfast!

This is a fantastic gem. Our company regularly gets lunch catered from here and the quality and service are high consistently. After trying a wide variety of their offerings, I could tell that each is freshly made with care. It brings delight to my day. Can’t wait to try their breakfast next.

I ordered the Israeli breakfast which had an amazing selection of food such as herbed egg omlette, fresh baked bread with Cabot butter or whipped cream cheese and fresh avacado. My favorite was the freshly squeezed orange juice. People who serve concentrate are automatically deducted one star. My partner ordered a fresh bagel egg sandwich. In NYC, you are always surrounded by food, but not always original food, or food that is worth what you paid for. We also eat primarily vegetarian so this was the perfect amount of fresh food in a friendly restaraunt. I am glad I tried something new and would go back for the under $ 11 breakfast deal. Looking for coffee? Walk up the street to Perk!

I got delivery from this place so I will only speculate on the food I ordered– The hard boiled egg sandwich came on a toasted challah roll; bread itself was a bit dry and not very chewy, so it fell apart easily and didn’t offer quite the right texture for a sandwich. The sandwich also contained tomato and cucumber with some sauce, which was delicious. Size of the thing wasn’t grossly big either. Also got yogurt with seasonal fruit and granola. I guess it’s cantaloupe season– not my favorite to go with yogurt. The granola was good but got pretty soggy on the ride over so didn’t have the crunchy bite I was hoping for. Orange juice was good– fresh squeezed so plenty of pulp and super sweet. Coffee was meh– not any special roast.

I got the Israeli Breakfast and it comes with assorted bread and cheese with your option of eggs. The cheese tasted fantastic and surprisingly they didn’t overwhelm me. The breads were warm, soft, and not overly doughy. I also ordered a strawberry smoothie which seemed like they just blended a bunch of strawberry without adding anything(not even sugar). The smoothie wasn’t bad at all, just wished it had almond milk or something to give it extra flavor. They had one vegetarian soup option and it was their lentil soup. I’m never ordering this again… Maybe it’s because I discovered that I didn’t like lentils? But my boyfriend wasn’t a fan of the soup either. Not sure what was wrong with it but I couldn’t taste anything…(Probably bc I was sick lol) take my review with a grain of salt though because I wasn’t the only one who didn’t find the soup appealing. Overall, I love this place. My boyfriend and his brother ordered sandwiches and they liked it as well. Definitely will come back.

This is a great place for an inexpensive, light breakfast. The Israeli breakfast is highly recommended; the cheeses and eggs included were very fresh, as was the Israeli salad. It comes with coffee which was full of flavor. For the value, there is a lot of food. Their goat cheese omelet sandwich on challah bread was delicious and is only around $ 7. The other omelet sandwiches also looked very tasty. I gave this 3 stars for a couple of reasons. The woman at the register was a little short with me, and when I was having trouble deciding on another dish after they were out of the granola, she kept asking me for my order after I said I needed a minute to look at the rest of the menu. I ended up getting a cranberry muffin, and it was very disappointing. The muffin itself had almost no flavor unless I got a bit with fruit, and it was dry, as if it had been made a couple of days ago. I love my baked goods, so this was disappointing. However, I would still go back here if I wanted a brunch that was more than a bagel but less than a full $ 15NYC brunch.

I had the omelette sandwich with chipotle mayo, avocado, and tomatoes — what a fresh, healthy, and satisfying breakfast! It comes with a salad drizzled with balsamic vinegar to boot. The 7-grain bread goes well with the omelette, and my friend liked his white bread too. We were there around 10am on a Friday; there was plenty of seating and we didn’t feel rushed — quite a luxury for breakfast in midtown.

I pass Delectica every morning on my way to work. I’ve heard great things and they have an awesome reputation on Unilocal.I’ve been wanting to try it out, but don’t normally buy breakfast before work. The other day I passed it and decided to give it a try. I ordered the omelette sandwich with chipotle mayo and avocado. It was great! I came on a grain bread, but on the weekends they offer to make it on challah rolls. I think I might’ve preferred that. I also ordered this iced mocha drink. It we excellent! It was basically just espresso, chocolate and skim milk. If I decided to splurge on breakfast again before work I’d definitely visit Delectica again! I’m hoping to visit soon on a weekend.

Sweet, clean and quick service. A bit of confusion with the woman at the till but otherwise a smooth breakfast! Food was delicious, with a twist. Gorgeous fresh orange and amazing coffee. Nice little water station which seems they switch around the type of fruit they pop in, which I love! Definitely pop by if it’s in your neighbourhood!

Love this cute little place for lunch! It is great for grab and go but also has seating for those who wish to stay for a while. Deletica has a good selection of sandwiches, soups, and salads. I have to say their salad selection is fabulous. I love their cauliflower and sweet potato salads. Cucumber, couscous, and healthier options are also available and delish! Even if you are a carnivore or hate salad, you don’t want to miss out on Deletica’s delectable salads! The sandwich is also very good. Crisp baguette holding turkey, havarti, arugula, and an interesting olive mustard makes a unique and lovely combination. I have yet to try the breakfast but that looks good as well. Overall a great cute place to grab food in the neighborhood!
