There’s a pharmacist named Barry there who I spoke to at 10:42 this morning (checked on my phone, I was on the phone for 5 minutes) to refill my eye drop prescription and I went to pick it up just now and he said he never spoke to me about eyed drops. When I told him over the phone that I can’t remember what it’s called, he asked if it’s the one that I keep in the fridge until it’s opened and I said yes, and then he proceeded to tell me the prescription is at another location but he’s transfer it over.
When I went in today, another pharmacist said I had no more refills and told me to talk to Barry. Barry has no recollection of talking to me and he specifically said he’s been there all day. Are you serious BARRY!!! Age-​related memory loss? Alzheimer’s?
Ugh moving all my prescriptions, don’t want him handling my meds.

I went to this store today and it was mostly very positive; the cashier was friendly & helpful, the overall selection was good and the store seemed very clean. The only negative is the very confusing layout (as the previous reviewer mentioned, it’s maze-​like).

I stopped at this Duane reade to pick up some makeup before going out. Although the front seems big, this is actually a much smaller Duane Reade than some of the others I’ve been to, with very skinny and hard-​to-​navigate aisles. The pharmacy is tucked away in the back and you would never know it was there if you didn’t search for it! There was only one cashier working and the line was quite long!

Came with my brother who had to pick up a prescription. Must be a slow pharmacy because no one else besides the pharmacist at the pharmacy. Pharmacist didn’t look disgruntled and clientele seemed ok waiting.
Picked up an OTC but paid for it at the front counter as I felt bad to keep the pharmacist from doing his real job. The staff up front were fine.
Seemed like a decent DR for a neighborhood pharmacy. Clean, bright but a little maze-​like.
