Rini, Rini, Rini… All I can say is AMAZING. Rini has been my go to, curl guy for over 5 years. And not once has he left me disappointed. I first met him at another salon which my mom had gotten me a gift card for as a Christmas present… BEST PRESENT EVER! Going to Rini is much more than a simple haircut, he takes his time with you, he helps you find and appreciate that beauty you were blessed with. Embrace your curls and let Rini show you how it’s done! Stay curly my friends…

I have been going to James McNally for YEARS!
When he told me that he was now working at Dream Waves, I couldn’t wait to check the salon out. It is very cute with a friendly feel.
James is a master when it comes to color and cut. Under his care, my hair has never been healthier or looked better. James has also given me great advice regarding haircare and preservation of my color.
As I said in my tip, I would follow James anywhere!!!

I went to Dream Waves today off of my friend’s recommendation who has beautiful curly hair and my experience was phenomenal. Rinnie was extremely professional, attentive, friendly, and listened to /​addressed all of my personal preferences. He made me feel comfortable as he cut my hair and did a great job making my curls look fresh without making me feel like I lost any length. Not only did I leave loving my cut, I was done in just under 2 hours instead of the 3+ I am used to due to his focus and efficiency. Thanks Rinnie!!!

Where to begin with this! Rini is the most phenomenal hair stylist I have ever had work on my hair. He is dedicated, incredibly knowledgeable and makes every visitor feel like family. The salon is conveniently in Gramercy on 19th (by StuyTown) and very intimate. Rini uses lay flat beds for the wash part and excellent products. I used to visit him specifically when he was with Devachan and as soon as I heard that he opened his own salon, I had to support him! There are very few people I have met that are as passionate as Rini is when it comes to hair. He expertly knows how to treat curly hair (curl god!) but is trained in all styles. Anyone who comes in for a haircut, color, style at Dream Waves is in for a wonderful experience. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
