Buen ambiente. Excelente la comida Italiana. La carta de vino es adecuada y los precios son aceptables. Una joyota en TRibeca

Went here for lunch with coworkers. The decorations and the ambience of the restaurant is really cool– rustic old world meets new modern New York. We ordered a bunch of pizza and some appetizers. Although we were only one of three other tables at the restaurant, the food did take a while to come out. When it finally came out, we dug right in and it was very yummy. I think my favorite pizza was the veggie pizza and the prosciutto pizza. It’s thin crust, wood fired pizza that transports you back to Rome.

This was a very good good restaurant plus what I loved is the fact that they ve been very patient with us since they accepted us very late. One of the best italian in Tribeca definitely!

Fantastic food. Had the prosciutto cone pizza for brunch with a Rucola salad. Absolutely fantastic. The cone pizza reminded me of the pizza I had in Italy. Highly recommended.

The food is pretty good I can not say it isn’t but every time I order from here there’s always a mistake. Did not order once from here and have everything correct which is extremely frustrating because I use grub hub and usually using grub hub my order always comes correct. The last two times were specifically bad, missing items and getting my order 2 hours late, last time my food was freezing cold and I called the place to complain and got hung up on two times. This place has definitely lost a good customer, it’s not just about the food but also how you treat people.

I ordered for delivery on Saturday night, took me 30 minutes ONLY to place the order for 1 margherita pizza– no kidding. The russian lady that picked up the phone had me spelling the name of the pizza, then my address, then my name, then my address again as she needed to figure out if they delivered to my area– which just is a few blocks away from the restaurant. Once the pizza made it to destination it was such a let-down. The only reason why I ordered from this place is because this is supposed to be part of the Luzzo’s group. I remembered their pizza to be delicious. Well I guess it’s not anymore. Pizza is not the same. Will not order from this place again.

Rigatoni tastes boxed pasta. Not enough seasoning on the dishes. Olive oil was good and wine was great. Pizza didn’t look that good either. Service was poor. Waiter was nice, but took over 20mins to place an appetizer order. Took another 30mins to finish the bill.

Pretty solid Italian spot. Very casual but has a little bit of sophistication with the interior. Pizza is pretty good and the crust is great on it — not too hard and not too chewy. Appetizers are great too. Much recommended for someone looking for a nice, but low key, Italian meal.

Thinking back to my lunch yesterday at Da Mikele and I’m very underwhelmed. We arrived just before 1pm to a relatively empty place, but this allowed us to pick a nice table in the back allowing us views of the entire restaurant. And those views are lovely. The entire place is very rustic looking, very cozy; really liked the overall look. The food however, didn’t love so much. Our table of three split a 12″ pizza and salad — both dishes were large enough for all of us to get a nice helping too. The Margherita pizza($ 17) left much to be desired. The chewy dough was great, and the sauce had nice sweetness to it but the little dollops of mozz cheese were thick and kept falling off the slices. And the slices themselves were soggy. So disappointing. The Fresca salad looked promising($ 13) — romaine, corn, avocado, hearts of palm, shredded cheese(sorry can’t remember the name), and a lemon vinaigrette — but fell hard. The salad had no life to it. Doesn’t lemon vinaigrette sound good on a hot summer day? Welllll I couldn’t taste it at all. All I could taste was the corn. so. much. corn. It overpowered the salad so much I only had a few bites of it. I had previously read such good things about the Luzzo pizza game but yesterday made me question it all. Meh.

Très bel endroit fréquenté par des locaux plus que des touristes. Bön repas italien aux goûts d’Italie plus raffinés et belle présentation. Ma conjointe et moi avons apprécié notre visite et y amènerons assurément des amis.

Came here for lunch with a family of 10. Waitress told us that the pizzas were personal size, they fed 1 person, maybe 2. I disagree, they can feed 2 – 3, even 4 people if you take 2 slices per person. We ordered 1 Frusta Parmaggiano, 1 Vegitali Dell Orto, 1 Margherita, and 2 Formaggi Pizzas. The Frusta, Vegitali and Margherita were good, nothing super amazing. Formaggi was bland and felt like a mouthful of soft, warm milk. Disgusting. When I told the waitress I didn’t like it, she told me «that’s what a four cheese pizza is, you ordered it.» Um ok. 5 out of 10 disliked it, 3 didn’t taste it and 2 ate 4 slices of 1 Formaggi after blending it with the Frusta(we sent 1 Formaggi back). The food was ok but the customer service made it feel mediocre at best. The waitress still charged us for 2 Formaggi pizzas even though we sent one back with only 1 slice eaten. Having read the Unilocal reviews, we walked a mile, passing a lot of restaurants that had a waiting line to come to this one, which was empty when we got there. It was a rude, bland, overpriced disappointment. Will not return. Most good restaurants don’t charge when customer dislikes a dish and sends it back. Also, refills on your coke flavored ice are not free.

After reading raves about the pizza, I chose this spot to grab dinner. The atmosphere is pretty inviting: Lots of warm colors and low lighting. Despite being a little crowded, it still felt intimate. I ordered the diavola pizza and I was disappointed. The diavola(spicy salami) tasted a little off. Definitely unlike the ones I ate in Italy. The pizza wasn’t bad, per se, but New York has to have far better pizza options. It was a pleasant atmosphere, though. Killer wine, though. I loved my individual glasses of pinot noir.

Delicious homemade fresh gnocchi! It’s so hard to find Italian places in NYC that have fresh homemade gnocchi. This is one of them and they do it so well! I ordered it with Bolognese which wasn’t offered on the menu with the gnocchi but they were accommodating which was great. It was a hot day and my only complaint is there was no AC in the restaurant or at least they didn’t have it on if they do have it. I liked the atmosphere and rustic décor. I’ll definitely come back!

This restaurant is mid block. We were greeted promptly. The atmosphere is antique and classic. We had the spinach ravioli in a safe and butter sauce, and the homemade gnocchi in a basil tomato sauce. They were Great! The wait staff was attentive and quick because we were short on time. The sangria at the bar had fruit in it. The bread was nice, and the olive oil at the table was fruity. I would definitely come back again!

We came here as a party of 8(including a toddler) and wait staff was very accommodating with a high chair and table that suited us very well even while being pretty busy. The restaurant is very rustic, just as a typical Italian pizzeria is which allows for a casual and comfortable meal. The wait staff was friendly and attentive to our needs, were on top of our service and made sure that we had everything throughout our dining experience. Getting to the food, we started with some burrata and prosiutto. We also picked an assortment of 6 or so pizzas, all that were cooked well. I would recommend the Margherita, Capriciossa and Da Mikele which were all very good. We finished the meal off with some espressos that were good accompanied with some ice cream and dessert. After it was said and done with some beers and a bottle of wine, it came out to about $ 40/person with tip which I thought it was very reasonable for what we ordered. Buon appetito

We ordered the small bufala pizza as an appetizers and it came out fast. The staff kept refilling the bread so we always had something to nibble on. I could not ask for a better night out with friends. The only thing missing were more friends. The entry was delicious. I ordered from special of the day menu. I got the three sliders which came in a variety so I got one of each as a tester. The meats were portobello mushrooms, ground patty burger, and a bacon burger. All three sliders were small but packed a big punch and was extremely tasty. The staff never rushed us out after we finished. That is a astonishing considering we were here for three hours. It was a group dinner with friends I have not seen in a while. There was a lot of catching up to do. I will be back here for sure just to try the rest of the menu.

The pizza here is absolutely awesome. Gourmet pizza in NYC is one of my favorite treats, and Da Mikele is definitely one of my favorite spots for it. This location is part of the beloved Luzzo’s pizza family — so you know that the food is going to awesome. My favorite pies are the traditional margarita and the rucola. I also highly recommend the rice balls. The brunch options are also pretty fun(who doesn’t love fried eggs on a pizza, right?) Ambiance is very relaxed, and caters to Tribeca locals and families.

Be aware they automatically charge 20% service tip at checking out(See receipt photo) Food was overall good but service was far below satisfactory. There were two servers when we had late lunch on weekend, one was a woman the other was a man. The female server was not friendly, didn’t pay attention for customers, didn’t do her job enough, but only very quick to bring the checkout receipt. We thought her service deserve at most 10% tip or so. With that service and so so food, we hardly come back again.

I’ve never been to an appertivo before and now I can say that they are in fact awesome. Da Mikele is obviously in an expensive neighborhood but they do appertivos right. Basically an appertivo is what Spanish tapas used to be. You drink, they bring food, the more drinks you have, more food comes out. My friends and I came in here and we were able to enjoy a relaxing evening drinking $ 5.00 bierra morettis. I would highly recommend the La Rossa over the standard since it is a much richer beer in flavor profile. The food they bought out was decent enough it ranged from some basic crostinis, pizza, arancini, and a basic pasta dish. The crowd was great, super chill, mostly the after work older group rather than the frat boy let’s puke on the floor type. Things got a little weird when they put up the party lighting when a nice warm lighting would have set the mood better than the club look. At no point was everything shoulder to shoulder uncomfortable environment that you see so frequently in midtown. Hands down probably the best deal you’ll find in this neighborhood.
