Nice staff, reasonable price for good quality dessert and pastry. So far the Best cheesecake in Manhattan!!!(I am a cheesecake lover, and I have tried most of the famous cheesecake shop, such as Junior’s, Eileen’s special cheesecake, etc.)

This place is great! From the Decore, staff and especially the brownies-OMG! Only on occasions as to not get too chubby… Even the music and customers were cool! Check it out.

Nice space… ordered the cha cha chai tea(or similar name) n thought I was getting some kind of extravagant tea. Uh it’s a tea bag.. also Nutella chocolate scone was kind of dry tried to break a piece off n the thing broke apart sending pieces flying on me & the floor. it tasted ok nothing special. didn’t feel like trying anything else after that

I stopped by here on a walk with friends(okay, we may or may not have been hoping for a Taylor Swift run-in). Regardless of why we were in the neighborhood, we stopped for some treats and coffee and Baked delivered. I had my first ever black and white cookie and now I’m basically obsessed. I also got a coffee — a Stumptown brew, one of my favorite coffee places. I’ll forever hold this place close as the first bakery in which I tried the infamous black and white cookie.

Parts of Tribeca seem quiet from bustle and tourism, which gives it an allure, and perhaps why its one of the most expensive neighborhoods in New York for real estate. Maybe this is why Baked feels like a yuppy neighborhood haunt with friendly engaging baristas selling Stumptown coffee in a clean and roomy space which could just as easily be in Portland. House made whoopie pies, cookies and lemon bars looked more fatty filling than luscious all for around $ 4. I settled for a chocolate biscotti with my coffee which wasn’t stale, tasted of chocolate, and had a crunch but still a bit tender. For some tranquil bland bliss B provides some bougie sanctuary.

Aside from the plentiful baked goods(went with the sweet and salty brownie and did NOT regret it. I typically like darker chocolate offerings and was worried I would have preferred the dark chocolate version but sweet and salty did not disappoint, though maybe it could have been saltier. how’s that for a run-on parenthetical), Baked also offers something really unusual for the neighborhood — a cheap and cozy brunch spot. Their lunch/café menu was surpisingly plentiful. Aside from the requisite avocado toast(option to add a poached egg), almond butter toast and egg sandwiches, there were also some heartier salads and chicken noodle soup. They even have sixpoint on tap! Along with nitro brew coffee, of course. It is counter service but there’s free and plentiful water. This is a great option if you’re looking for some food in Tribeca but don’t want the scene or the $$$ of Bubby’s/Locando Verde etc.

I was really excited to try Baked after seeing delicious pictures of items here on Unilocal.Baked has stuff like muffins, bars, cookies, cakes… you name it. Everything a girl with a sweet tooth could ever want. Baked seems like it would be a decent café to chill and do some work in. Service was nice — the men were helpful and very friendly. After surveying the case for what seemed like a very, very long time, my friend and I decided to get the candy bar tart and the salted caramel bar(after a woman behind us told us it was her ‘cheat day’ and it was her most favoritest thing ever…) — the staff even helped us cut both in half so we’d avoid having to cut them ourselves! Salted caramel bar — this was a major disappointment. The ones we saw in the case(and even on Unilocal pictures) had tons of caramel and then when we eventually ate ours, the caramel was almost nonexistent. It was like eating a thick pie crust covered in chocolate. Fail. That’s mostly where Baked lost brownie(ha!) points from me. Candy bar tart — yes yes yes! I’ve never had Momofuku Milk’s version of this, but the one at Baked is worthy of 5 stars. Looooved it. The base is what looks to be a chocolate cookie crumble, then caramel and nuts, topped with dark chocolate and more nuts. Delicious and totally worth the calories. Bottom line: get the candy bar tart, pass on the salted caramel bar unless you KNOW there is going to be a decent amount of caramel in it.

YUM! Got the sweet and salty brownie. Unlike other reviews, I didn’t taste salt baked throughout, but none the less it was delicious. SOFUDGY!!! It legit tasted like fudge. Amazing fudge. Also, there was no caramel within it — or if there was, it definitely wasnt obvious. None the less I loved the brownie! The top also wasnt crunchy, but it was so good that I didnt mind.

So many delicious treats at Baked! It was hard to choose just 1, so my friend and I shared 3 things: the brookster, salted caramel bar(twix), and the candy bar tart. The brookster was a bit dry. The candy bar tart was delicious, just a bit too hard to eat. The twix bar was just right! I washed everything down with an awesome iced tea.

The wonderful Mr. Joy brought home for me the Brookster — brownie base with chocolate chunk cookie top. I’ve been calling cookie/brownie hybrids Crownies. Here we have the Brookster: a cookie encased in a brownie. The brownie is rich and delicious. It must be due to the dark chocolate batter. I did enjoy it. I will not be getting this again & I hate to say this & I don’t want to be mean, but… I’m going to do it anyway… You can get the Betty Crocker box mix for about 2 bucks. Both delicious, Baked has a richer taste. But if you want to be economical, and make about 16 servings for $ 2-$ 3 in about 45 minutes versus paying $ 4, then good news, you have that option. Surprisingly, the first time I ever tried this cookie infused brownie creation was at a Nordstrom espresso bar about 8 years ago when I worked at the mall and was too poor to afford a more substantial meal. I thought it was so unique and genius until I spotted the box mix at a Target shortly thereafter. Lol I would probably be more impressed if I tried something else from Baked. For now… still underwhelmed.

Like the long display of baked goods and has a decent amount of seating in the back. We ordered the pumpkin cheesecake which had a good amount of pumpkin taste in it, but thought the cheesecake could be creamier and less dry. I also thought the brownie could be less dry too.

Baked! My husband and I decided to stop into Baked for a mid afternoon snack. We have been to the Red Hook location before, but decided to try the Tribeca location today. We were promptly greeted when we entered the bakery. After looking over the items in the case, we decided on the Blueberry Buckle Coffee Cake and the famous Brookie, which we have had before. The Blueberry Buckle had a generous amount of blueberries and tasted delicious. The Brookie was also good, but the brownie was a little dried out. The restaurant has a great relaxing ambiance and the restrooms were clean.

Lovely little bakery in TriBeCa with amazing prices for the offerings and the locale. I got the chocolate macaroons(two for $ 3) and a chocolate marshmallow(0.75)The chocolate marshmallow was amazingly rich and creamy while the macaroons were so soft and moist on the inside. In short: good, cheap delicious baked goods and FREE water. Definitely coming back if I find myself in the area again.

4 stars! The staff at baked is wonderful! They were able to design a last minute cake for my boss’ farewell party. I ordered their classic red velvet cake and it was a total hit among everyone. We were all very happy w the comical design they drew as well as the taste of the cake. The cake and icing was not heavy at all and got people coming back for seconds. Soo glad I choose to order from baked.

Suchtfaktor!!! Einfach mal ausprobieren

Each time I come to this establishment the people are so pleasant and kind. All there baked goods looks so fresh and they taste fresh. I am a baker but at times like to cheat on myself with another baked good place. Try the salted Carmel pound cake, cinnamon rolls, cheesecake and the chocolate chip cookie. The brookster was not good. It Tasted funny. I had to spit it up because I couldn’t force myself to swallow.(That’s what he said) Definately try all the pound cakes. They are moist, never dry. The cheese cake was exceptional, I wish it was a little richer but it exceeded expectations. Best kept secret… I really enjoy this baked good store.

I managed to get my husband here after pretending that we ‘stumbled’ across somewhere to grab a snack. Baked has been on my radar a while! There were so many appealing things, if it was up to me we would have tried more. But in the interest of eating healthy, my husband and I shared a piece of Oreo cake! It was huge and delicious. The frosting and cake tasted very light, not stodgy, which is how you want it to be. The servers were friendly and we didn’t have to wait long to be served. There is seating at the rear of the bakery and complimentary water available. It is nice surroundings to eat your cake and you can even see through the window into the kitchen and see lots of big cakes in the fridge. I will definitely be returning to try all the other delicious looking cakes!

The service and overall organization of this place is awful. I’m sure the food is decent enough based on other reviews, but the ordering experience was enough to turn me away for good. They’re called«Baked» so I expected, you know, that they would highlight their baked goods. Instead, the set up and super unhelpful staff make it impossible to figure out what to order because the bakery counter is waaaay before where you order your food, the people at the counter don’t bother going over to the bakery part of the counter to help out, and they don’t bother to label things. I saw that they had scones and muffins that looked tasty but didn’t know whether or not I wanted one because there were no flavor labels. So I had to wait in line for 10 minutes to get to the counter and ask. I was looking for a simple flavor: lemon. Did they have a lemon scone? «No,» the person at the counter said they did not have a lemon scone. Did they have anything with lemon in it that was like a lemon scone? «No,» the person at the counter said they only had cupcakes with some lemon flavor. Fine, so to the back of the line I go to peruse the baked goods again(still having no clue as to what things actually are). I eventually get back to the front of the line and ask about the flavors of the muffins. «Any muffins with lemon?» I ask. Why, yes! They have a(!!) lemon poppy seed muffin!(?!#%$$$$!!!) «Okay, great, I will get the lemon poppy seed muffin.» «Yes,» says the person at the counter, «that will be $ 4.50.» ?!#%$$$$!!! Hell. No.

Like everyone else, I have been hearing a lot about Baked for a while and the expectations were running pretty high when I finally dragged myself to TriBeCa today. After trying A LOT of stuff here, I have to say this place is pretty amazing although maybe not one of the top few bakeries in the entire city. Instead of rambling on and on I will give my favorites in order of the many things I tried. 1) Good Morning Sunshine Bar: These are actually the only gluten free item I tried and they were just really outstanding. 2) Peanut Butter and Jelly: Wow this was also just wildly good. The shortbread crust with the jam and peanuty crumble was an amazing combo. 3) Key Lime Pie Tart: This fell apart a little too fast for me to get a pic but it was great. I got the second to last slice and I can see why. 4) Bombay Mix: By far the best of the cookies I tried. Really nice and complex. 5) Salted Caramel Bar: This was where the treats kind of went downhill. This was ok but nowhere near as good as the PB&J square. 6) Brookster: Dry, kind of weird tasting, and way too dense. Maybe it was kind of stale. I don’t know. Not great. 7) Chocolate Chunk Cookie: There is a reason that while Baked is often talked about no one ever talks about their chocolate chip cookies. Go to Levain instead. So, while this bakery is definitely amazing, not everything here is perfect and there are definitely a few duds in the selection. However, I have not even come close to trying everything and when I come back next I will def bump my rating up if I have something that makes me forget the brookster and chocolate chunk cookie.
