It’s a bar /waiting room for the shows in the theater above. I wouldn’t come here unless going to a show. Drinks were served in plastic cups. Nuff Said.

there’s nothing too spectacular or original about the D-Lounge. it’s conveniently located at the Daryl Roth Theater(which always seems to be under a new identity or renovation.) i’m here almost every night Maritess performs… however, i show up after the show. heheh. i don’t like going down a a couple flights of stairs for a bar/lounge unless it’s a secret/swanky grotto or something interesting. D-Lounge… it’s just for the location, nothing special. you have to buy 2 drinks and pay for admission… i don’t know if it’s just for Maritess’s show, but i think that’s a little excessive. i wouldn’t really consider going here if it wasn’t for a special occasion… which in this case, it was! to support my friend. otherwise… don’t expect me here on a random night.

I’m with Ameena on this, for sure. Maritess is 5 stars, D lounge, ehh… well, it was fine, just nothing special. The drinks were ok, I don’t really dig plastic cups for my boozey, but c’est la vie. That definitely kinda annoyed me. Come on, plastic cups? Is it a frat house? Seriously. Some food would have been a nice touch too. But, whatev. We got to see Maritess do magic. 5 stars for that.
