Amazing service! Unique, rare, crafted cocktails… By Enzo. He’s a master at his cocktail. All of them he’s created. The derive here is top notch service. It’s a secrete lounge in NYC’s Chelsea hood. Expensive, surprisingly Not at all… The quality and the price honestly is a steal. Perfect for impressing your love… The music is seductive accompanied with an intimate and romantic atmosphere. Long story short, it’s worth it!

Great happy hour prices. Happy hour ends at 9. Tiny bar. Get there by 630⁄7 or else it gets pretty packed. Tiny space. Don’t go there with more than 2 – 3 friends. Service was okay not great.

Nice, romantic bar. Our waiter was great, I just wish they had a better selection of wines. Donatella’s(the adjacent restaurant) seemed to have better options. I thought the secret entry from Dbar to Donatella’s was pretty cool.

D Bar is awesome. Arley is truly An artist. His drinks are complex, leave you per fectly twisted but not hung over. Also, he is interesting as hell. The menu here is good too. You’ll like it.

After speaking with Daniely and seeing the space in person, I was convinced this was the perfect place to host a casual dinner and drinks for our regional partners visiting NYC. We decided on a light affair offering a variety of tasty pizzas, savory spicy meatballs, and an array of house wines(which all tasted amazing) as well draft beers. Daniely kept our event private for 2 hours before opening up to the public which was perfect. Our guests were thoroughly fed and had an awesome time. I would definitely recommend D Bar!

Holy sh*t, this place is phenomenal! The drinks are well-priced and strong, the staff is friendly, and there’s always a seat at the bar after work. I often swing by D Bar for a glass of wine and dinner for happy hour. Their kitchen is shared with Donatella — the amazing Neopolitan pizza place next door — which means you can sit at the bar and eat as much pizza as you want! The pizza is seriously delicious. Like, I often think about it while sitting at my desk at work. Mmm… See? It just happened.

We live across the street… literally 12 steps away., so D bar was me and my partner’s romantic Friday night cocktail location before returning home and resuming our lazy old married life. We used to sit at the counter… and I would tell the bartender what I was in the mood for.(chocolate? gin? pears? something while I’m waiting for my Socarrat dinner?)The drinks were always inspired, always unique. One guy mashed pomegranates and grated coconut by hand into my glass.- he deserved all 15 dollars of that lovely cocktail. The last time I went in there, the woman handed me a menu. I sort of stared at it, unsure of what to do. After going there 15 times, no one had ever had a drink list. ever. Not sure if this place is under new ownership now… but we LOVED the old mixology vibe, and are really sad that now this is now just expensive cocktails. BUMMED out about it.

Loved the blackberry mojito! They even make it virgin. I don’t eat beef so couldn’t try her famous meatballs. The pizza is delcious, thin, fresh and delectable. Bar tender was really nice. Tight space at the bar but still tons of fresh air and comfortable.

I recently went here for a work event, and I was expecting the Manhattan norm of overpriced drinks and small servings, however, I was pleasantly surprised in every aspect. The drinks were not watered down and they didnt kill my back pocket either. The personal pizzas were both creative and delicious. I will definitely be coming back soon.

I’m glad I’m diesel, otherwise, I wouldn’t be able to walk to the back of this bar. Fuckin narrow as hell, yo. The Dope: — Affable and hella-chatty bartender. — Strong mofokin vodka sodas. — Dimly lit, hip décor, date-worthy ambience. — Happy hour until 9pm… wow ** Hey you fat people, don’t even think about it. **

I really liked this place. Great happy hour till 9pm. Solid bathrooms and super cool/friendly bar tenders. I liked that some of the stools had backs. This place is very narrow I would not recommend it for a large group, I could see it being a pain if it gets over crowded. I highly recommend stopping in for a drink if you are bar hopping in Chelsea.

Been to Dbar twice. They have an awesome happy hour that last till 9PM and the Oysters are delicious for just a $ 1.00 each. Had a dozen the first time around. The place is pretty empty and attracts a larger crowd late into the evening. Not much foot traffic during 5−8PM. Maybe it’s easy to walk by and pass the place. They are not located on the main street and more so on a side street. Also, they next to another bar and restaurant. Wine and beer is good. Not too crazy about their cocktail drinks. Guess it depends on who the bartender making those drinks that night.

All you need to know is during Happy Hour they have $ 1 oysters! And we’re not talking dinky tiny itty bitty oysters, we’re talking nice, on ice, oysters shucked w/a side of vinegar, horse radish, and lemons! Dont forget to ask the bartender for that big bottle of Tobasco he hides under the counter :]

I really dislike going out in Manhattan, but we went out for a coworkers birthday and our office is close so we chose D Bar. Happy hour goes till 9pm which made my ears perk up, but the place is small and narrow. Don’t both going here with a large group of friends.

The atmosphere is quite pleasant, the music isn’t deafening. The place is busy but not crowded, lighting is perfect for friendly conversation — so all the fundamentals are in place for an ideal cocktail experience. Unfortunately the liquor selection is limited — unless you want a fancy mixed drink — and overpriced. And I can even overlook overpriced, except if you bring me a $ 15 scotch on the rocks, it better be a deep brown and filled to the brim — not diluted with a handful of watery ice the way it was last night. It’s a shame because the first time I came here for a drink I really thought it was a find.

It’s unfortunate that this place doesn’t seem to attract a big crowd because it’s actually a really enjoyable bar with tasty food. The only major problem I have with D Bar is it’s very small and all of the tables are absolutely tiny. We had the punch which was sweet and strong but the bowl almost couldn’t fit on the table. As soon as we ordered food, we kept having to shift everything on the table. The meatballs were good, pork belly calzone was as well, and the donuts were surprisingly delicious. D Bar is too expensive for what it is and maybe that’s why they have so much difficulty attracting a big customer base. It’s a nice, cozy space with good drinks and tasty food. I wish they had bigger tables though.

Its a small cozy bar. I went for happy hour and also split a pizza with someone and it was $ 20 total with tip. I believe its pricier to go after happy hour/weekends. Nothing too special, but still not bad.

D Bar is a very cozy neighborhood bar. Happy hour ends at 9PM where you can get 2 for 1. The bartender is super friendly and the place has a right mix of clientele. It is never crowded so you’ll definitely find a place to sit. 4 well drinks for $ 16…not bad for Chelsea on a Friday night.

Came here to meet a friend for drinks – really only got me out on a cold saturday night because I’m a fan of Donatella Arpaia and I thought«can’t be that bad» I have to say… its a little pricey, but I’m sure thats the neighborhood(I mean…19th and 8th, come on), but I had a pretty decent sazerac while I waited for the arancini I ordered. They were the perfect appetizer for someone who was a little hungry but didnt ned a full meal. You get three pretty big arancini filled with peas, cheese, and pancetta, and they were taaasty! Overall their menu seemed pretty good, though i only had the arancini. Their cocktails have a bit of an old school bent to them, with their signature’s hanging around the sazerac/manhattan realm. But they do have some others that are a little more experimental, one a friend had called«the japanese mule» which sounded completely crazy but was actually pretty tasty. I think the only problem is that they have these nutty, professional mixologist required type drinks, and then they’ve got some bartenders, I dont doubt that they know there cocktail history, but are really just kinda bartending. Overall a good experience. Maybe a trip back will warrant it another star.
