You guys! This is the wrong address… It’s across the street at 118. First time Coco drinker and I loved it. Fab of bubble tea already and have tried several different places. I got the 3 guys I think it’s called with milk tea with pudding/tapioca/grass jelly. yum! Also, good service and clean.

Yay! Quality boba spots are slowly finding their way uptown! Was feeling quite grumpy after barely surviving another grocery shopping war at Trader Joe’s… that is until I stumbled upon the newly opened CoCo. As a huge boba lover, I was stoked! The drink selection here is consistent with what is offered at their other downtown locations, so I tried to order my usual go-to-item, Two Ladies, which is milk tea+ tapioca+ pudding. Unfortunately they ran out of pudding that day. Got the jasmine green milk tea + tapioca, 70% sugar instead. It was delicious. This spot has no seating and is definitely a grab & go spot. I noticed there was counter service set up behind the window facing the street. I’m guessing it’s probably some kind of «walk-thru» counter that will be opened when the weather warms up. I can’t wait till spring comes cause it’ll be awesome to stroll through Central Park with some boba. I’ve decided that I will swing by every time before I shop at Trader Joe’s. Maybe the sugar high will make my grocery shopping experiences more enjoyable.

Coco is probably one of the better bubble tea spots compared to most. While they aren’t «fresh» it’s almost impossible to make the flavors they have from scratch and prevent it from spoiling. Bubble tea anywhere you go will be made from powders or syrups. It’s just a matter of the tea leaves they use and the quality of the tea they use. This place gets five stars because of the service and attitude was overall friendly and not like the others that have been around for a while. Cleanliness is also a plus! Hopefully this one will stay around for a while!

I love this place a lot, I’m worried that this place is not going to survive though cause it’s soo hidden!

Nice addition to the Upper West Side, don’t have to travel to Midtown or Downtown to get bubble tea now. I usually don’t like it too sweet, so got the 30% sugar.

The bubble tea tastes great. They use a machine that mixes it and then seals a tight seal around the cup that you later use a spoon to puncture to drink out of. The mixture is done perfectly and quickly. No place to sit.

YES! Finally a bubble tea shop near my job. Working on the UWS has deprived my asian taste buds of good food and drinks, and I was beyond happy when I saw that CoCo was under construction a few months back. CoCo really gets one more star from me being that they’re my only option and that their drinks are still doable. If given any good competition, this rating would go down to 2 stars. To anyone stating that their drinks are fresh and not powder based — WHAT? You clearly did not have your good share of bubble tea in your life. Or you’re just blind. Cause the powder is literally behind the counter, full frontal view for all to see. And the milk based drinks taste like straight up powder, no doubt about it. CoCo is a lot heavier than the better bubble tea joints one would find in Chinatown, Flushing, or Brooklyn. I actually have difficulty finishing a large drink here because the powder based stuff is just so heavy. The tea flavor isn’t there, but when a boba craving kicks in, it’s doable as mentioned above. Their Rooibos drinks taste like crap though. My coworker got me one as I loveee Rooibos tea and I had to secretly chuck the drink away because it was just that bad. I suggest asking for less sugar when ordering from here unless you want to feel disgusting afterwards. Props to good tapioca balls.

This place just opened down the street from my work. I got the red bean latte with bubbles– hot. It was really good! I don’t think they’re using the premade powder stuff. Will definitely try other flavors!

There has been a dearth of good boba places on the UWS and in the city in general. CoCos is a welcome addition to the neighborhood. They offer a substantial selection of drinks(my personal favorite is two ladies – Milk tea with bubbles and pudding) and offer custom sweetness and ice levels. Fantastic place in walking distance. Prices are higher than what I’m used to in California but standard for New York. The bubbles are always perfectly sweet and the right texture. My new go-to place(I’ve been there every day this week and most of last weekend, too!)
