Amazing new menu of craft burgers to pair with the craft beers! But my favorite menu item was the Walter White Crystal Metho-donuts that were objected with Nutella, salted caramel, and raspberry!!! So good. Thanks for the great service and recommendations, Paul!

I came here for Belgium Week to try our their different Belgium beers. They had a good selection and flights for us to try. There are outdoor seating which is always a plus.

Fun place for happy hour! I went with the hubby Friday after work and they had some great specials on beer and bar food. We had 3 beers, 3 sliders, and a dozen wings. All for about $ 40. Not bad at all. They also had some super sized games, literally. We didn’t partake but they looked fun.

Clinton Hall– Yassssss! Beer hall and games in one venue… I really can’t even describe how jcu fin I had. My only complaint is that we had to wait an eternity for our beers and we had to look for the waiter when we wanted to order another round. Other than that, my group of friends and I had so much fun and we will be going back soon.

They have a fantastic beer selection. I rate this 5 out of 5 because the food I had was great and the beer was amazing. They have a lot of places to sit down. There is nothing negative I can think of. There wasn’t any wait and the food came out fast. The waiters are kind and if you don’t know what to order they will give you great suggestions.

Clinton Hall was one of the first bars I went to while I was visiting NYC, and their beer list was pretty amazing! We sat in the outdoor seating area with picnic tables. There were board games and buckets of jenga pieces on each of the tables. It was really an awesome place to chill and relax! We had the buffalo cauliflower which had a pretty solid kick to it! We apparently had 2 different servers, the first one was an Asian male server who was very patient, informative and attentive. I really wish he would have asked us to close out with him before he left. Then the second one was a Caucasian male server who was not so attentive… it took quite a bit just to get our check… But then again it can be a little weird taking over a table. Definitely recommend this place for an avid beer drinker!

A good spot for beer and bar food. The beer list is really impressive and ever-changing. The other night we went and the focus was on Hopping Frog from Ohio. The atmosphere is very beer hall-y, so definitely not a date spot. The food is also good, nothing amazing but hits the spot. The burgers are tasty, kind of shake shack style, and the truffle fries are GREAT. I don’t go for happy hour but it always seems to be jumping on Thursday and Friday nights, for what it’s worth.

Came here on Halloween because we were looking for a bar with a laid back vibe. Clinton Hall had just that! It was also really family friendly. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. As long as it’s not snowing or raining, I’d definitely recommend sitting outdoors. It remains nice and toasty because there are plenty of heat lamps throughout the patio area. There are also a lot of board games, foozball tables, and even a large chess set. We had a lot of fun reminiscing about our childhoods over our three person connect four tournament. The beer menu is extensive and there are a ton of seasonal(aka. pumpkin) beers to choose from. I wish my friends had been in the mood for drinking, because I would have definitely paid $ 10 for the open bar between 9−10PM on Halloween. Although this did not include all of the beers on the menu, there was still a great selection to choose from. There are also quite a few mouth watering food options on the menu. Deep fried pickles anyone? Although Clinton Hall is a little too far to frequent, I wouldn’t mind coming back if I’m in the area.

They have a strong beer selection which is very welcoming to a guy like me. I like the indoor/outdoor seating arrangement that they have as well. It’s a good atmosphere to come and relax and watch a few games on the numerous TVs that they have all over the place. My friend and I didn’t get a chance to try the food; we instead opted to stumble our way through some a few rounds of ale selections boasting higher than average ABVs. There’s a pretty well-rounded selection here to appease most palettes so you can come with a diverse group of friends and still keep everyone happy. The outdoor seating area has an ample amount of heating torches that’ll keep you toasty even on the more brisk nights as was the case when I visited. The only drawback is that our waitress didn’t seem very knowledgeable about the beer selections. If your going to have a staff in a drink-centric environment, I’d expect a bit more knowledge, but maybe she was new. Regardless, I’d still come back to have a few more rounds for a night. I’ll have to check them out for a happy hour soon.

The bar right next to my apartment — it is always packed after work, so my boyfriend, his friend, and I tried it out on a Saturday around 5pm. As with most places in the financial district, the place had a small crowd but was nowhere near as crowded as it gets during the week. Happy hour every day from 11:30am-6:00pm — $ 5 beers and discounts on some of their food. I got the pesto and brie chicken sandwich, my boyfriend got the sliders and wings, and his friend ordered the soft pretzel and wings. Overall– the food was average to not so good. The sliders looked pretty horrible — just tiny patties on buns with nothing else, not even lettuce and tomato. The wings were cold — not sure if they were supposed to be cold but not the most appealing. The sandwich was probably the best happy hour deal and the best thing of what was ordered, but still fairly mediocre. Overall, will never come here to eat again. But if I am in the need of a beer during happy hour, I will consider heading to Clinton Hall.

Crafted beer for all. I like the refreshing type but oh boy they really suggested a dark dark drink for me. For a $ 10+ drink you will need to make up your mind carefully. The place is packed with after work happy hours. If you want a quiet place for that drink, you should stay far far away. I felt like being in a bar as you can barely hear anyone screaming in front of you. Food is not heavenly or healthy by any standard. I heard drinking a beer a day will make you life longer however accompanied by those food, you might live a day or a week less every time. Same as everywhere, overpriced food and overpriced drink. Do come only once in a while.

Dear Clinton Hall, Don’t sign up for the Beer Passport and give 4 mediocre options of select beer: Radeberger, Weihenstephaner, Downcast Cider and Blood Orange Pale Ale. Really?! You have 20 beers on tap and you’re supposed to be a beer garden/hall and beer bar! This put a bad taste in my mouth. Wouldn’t return. The whole point of the Passport is to try new bars and beers.

Clinton Hall featured a special beer for Belgian Independence Day and in Belgian Independence Day it seemed like a good decision to celebrate there. I came too late before that particular beer sold out but I heard good things from another patron. Clinton Hall is a bar and beer garden, and it does provide an array of different beers. The Witte Belgian ale I had was especially light, summery, and delicious. But that seems to be as far as the positives go. They get two stars for meeting the bare minimum requirements of what the establishment claims to be — they are a beer garden, and I did enjoy one of my two beers on their outdoor patio. Service is so-so. It’s important to note that when we did find a bench outside to sit, we waited a long time to be greeted. I actually had to go inside to inform the waitresses that I would liked to have ordered something.(I will not include in my review that when inside I accidentally bumped one of the waitresses with my bag and she rolled her eyes as if she’d already had enough of this day.) And when I put in my order the waitress took my card to start a tab. The promotion for Independence Day was a free waffle sundae with your ticket, which you receive upon purchase of a beer. I put in my order without the promotion being promoted. When I received my beer and asked the waitress for the ticket, I was then informed that I would have qualified for a waffle sundae if I had chosen from a smaller selection of beers from a card on the bench. The first beer I ordered, a blood orange American ale, tasted like a Bud Light, so I made the decision to get another beer from the selected beers on the card and subsequently the free waffle(which now cost me the price of a new beer). It’s my opinion that management should have trained the staff on hyping up the Independence Day promotion. Even worse if they did, because it’s clear staff is not listening. I ordered the caesar salad, waffle fries with cheese, and bratwurst to munch on before waffle. The caesar salad is prepared and given to you with no croutons or parmesan cheese. The bratwurst was even worse, served lukewarm and maybe stale. Their waffle fries are pretty good– crispy outside and soft inside. They top it with artificial liquid cheese, but it’s a fitting snack for a bar. I also liked the free waffle, which is served warm(the waffle itself came hotter than the brat). I topped mine with nutella, ice cream, and strawberries. When we were ready to leave, I asked for the check, and got some more entertainment from waitstaff. Two different waitresses asked me who served me, which was essentially telling me, we don’t know who has your credit card. It was brought to me eventually. I don’t have plans to return soon.

I went here with a group of 6 after work, and they did a great job accommodating us. We were planning on sitting outside, but it looked like it was going to rain, so we sat inside instead. Our waitress was great at helping us work through the beer list and recommended beers for most of us. We were all very happy. I had the bratwurst with spicy onions and fries, which I thought was great. The bratwurst was very flavorful, although I was indifferent about the onions. Next time I will try the sauerkraut. There was a large after-work crowd, so I would say to get there on the earlier side, like 5 – 530.

Came for the Bruery tap takeover and it was great as I expected. Had a few pretzels as well which were great along with a delicious dipping sauce. All the beers didn’t disappoint and this is turning out to be a great gem down in the financial district

Clinton Hall NY Manhattan FiDi 8pm Saturday 30th May 2015 Four Stars This Beer Garden and restaurant has all the things you want on a summer day. The large outside patio area has huge picnic tables for large drunken groups. There is Fooseball, Giant Jenga, Giant Checkers, and a ping pong table. They also have liquor which is always a huge plus. I had a whiskey and a mezcal cocktail for $ 27.
