The owner/​managers promise a lot but often fail to follow through. Not very attentive. Do not return emails. Do not believe the sales pitch.

Reliable and helpful property managers. Fortunate to have them and grateful for their responsiveness and accuracy.

Citadel is the management company for the small condo building I live in. While they have managed the building for a few years, I have been on the board since Aug 2014. We have had some issues, but a lot of that was due to a Super we had who was not as on top of things as he should be. He has since been replaced, and the new Super is fantastic.
For the most part they have been responsive, and while some things have taken longer to resolve than we would have liked, I believe it is also the responsibility of the board to follow up as needed to make sure things are on track.
They are not perfect, but you do get a sense that they genuinely care about their clients, and are not in it just to make a buck. I would certainly recommend them!

My building has been managed by Citadel for the past two years. They have provided excellent attentive service for all of our building needs. Mark, Mike and the rest of the Citadel staff are always available to the building. The building has never looked better.

Mike worked diligently selling my apartment. The market was in a lull, and he was at my place every Sunday doing an open house until that place sold. He earned every penny. Highly recommend.

After a year of horrific living conditions, being charged to fix things that I never broke, no heat an increase in rent from a management company that fit the bill for the Taj Mahal, I was given Citadel’s information from a friend. The weight then lifted off of my shoulders! Is it possible that some of these reviews are directed to the wrong management company?
I worked directly with Michael Crespo as he was helping me based on my referral. Michael was extremely attentive to my search, guidelines of what I was looking for, etc. and he found me something below my monthly budget that was perfect for me and my lifestyle. Mr. Crespo responded to my text, emails and calls and if you know me you know I ask a LOT of questions!
After working with Mr. Crespo and sharing my experience with notable broker friends, I have learned that they too have worked directly with Citadel placing their clients withing their properties. What a wonderful feeling to know I am not alone in sharing the benefits of the top notch management company!
And the icing on the cake is feeling secure know I will not be eating any building costs!

These guys seem young, energetic, and high tech, but it’s an empty sales pitch. As even our attorney noted «they manage a lot of properties, so don’t expect them to get back to you». They are rarely on site, send clueless contractors to evaluate problems, then don’t bother to check the result. Phone messages, work orders, and emails are ignored. My neighbors tell me «just keep calling». Good Grief !
