I have been a loyal customer of cinderella for over 3 years(since moving to NYC), however they were not so loyal to me. When Tammy left(the only person that can arch my brows right) Zorro, Alise, and Vanessa kept telling everyone that tammy left back to her country. I continued to ask, especially when I found out where tammy went, and followed her when they found out I knew and told other customers(i continued to go to Cinderleea for nails and pedis) they began to be very beligerent and outright nasty about tammy. Telling customers she had no liscense and that she hated black people etc. Well one day the husband had an issue with me because I did not want to get involved and he was very rude, just ghetto in the manner he spoke to me and others. I wll not return there if my life depended on it.

Very good eyebrow services. Great attention to detail and they work with your face frame to give you a style that suits your look. I’m a regular and I am never disappointed.

Abba is the best for shaping eyebrows and I wouldn’t let anyone else near them.

I went here for an eyebrow wax/threading. They did a really great job. The lady was on the phone the whole time, which made we wonder where her focus was, but other than that I liked the way my arch turned out. Would def go back!

I would give them 0 stars for always making my lashes go bald because they put too much glue on the lashes which causes them to fall off after a week with your own personal lashes and for me it’s always my left side to go first(waking up next to me on the pillow with my real lashes on the glue winking back), not romantic at all… then I’m forced to use the remover to soak off the right side cause the ends are missing with a few here and there all after a week and still my real lashes would come off with that remover… I take a break every 4 months because my of my baldness and theirs nothing for the glue to stick to… I always say when they grow back, no more fake lashes but of course I lied, I never really mean it and I’m addicted to it… As far as threading the only one who does it right if you have thin to mid-full brows is the slim chick in there and she does my lashes better too but still it’s too much glue as for the other woman she made me leave one day looking surprised like Ronald McDonald and I had to rock my Mary J shades to hide my damage for a few weeks so my brows could grow back. Then she tried to say they look fine and couldn’t see what I was talking about SMH like I was crazy… The slim chick is the only one who does the henna design I had her do it for me a few times before using black ink and it came out nice and lasted for almost 3 weeks, but now they don’t carry the black ink so I don’t get anymore Henna’s from them. And after my eyebrow grew back I started going to the one on 125th street even though the staff has an attitude your lashes and eyebrows will look glamorous and they do a far better job than the one on 116th Street for sure, with LESSGLUE and it’s not clumpy looking underneath plus they have fans available so you can dry your lashes before you leave, plus they gave me arches that curve just right instead of leaning like it’s about to leap off my face, and they don’t thread it thin and straight as if I drew them on.

I love, love, love this place. It’s a little out of the way(but right off the 4÷5÷6, so very easy once you get off at 116th) and you might have to wait for a few minutes, but these ladies do a beautiful job each and every time. Does it hurt? Definitely. Will you possibly tear up? Just a little, maybe. Is it worth it? Absolutely!!! For $ 6, my brows have been absolutely the best I’ve seen them every time.

I like to get my eyebrows threaded because it takes longer to grow back. I went to cinderella but i usually go to Unique threading on 23rd since it was close. I wouldnt say they do the best job but its decent-(it didnt look bad) i say that because the woman i saw was kind of rough. also the eyelashes have too much glue on them and when i went back to take them off she friggin ripped my eyelashes out– i had 3 lashes left and i was extra bald. I was sad. So bottom line if there are no alternatives go here.

If Chewbacca and Big Foot ever had a lovechild, *I* would be the result of that sticky situation(um…ew? I just grossed myself out). Or more specifically, my eyebrows would, because for some unknown reason, these fuckers grow like weeds, yet waxing always makes me breakout. Thank god for the lovely ladies at Cinderella for keeping them in check. True, this simple second floor threading/waxing shop is no day spa, but any place where $ 7 prevents me(along with the two guys I witnessed respectfully ‘manscaping’) from looking like Bert from Sesame Street without having to trek into midtown OR giving me ingrown hairs will always have my business.
