Uh, it’s a no from me — for this particular location(but truthfully this experience will probably deter me from going to any other Chop’t location). I came in around 9PM on a Monday, and ordered myself a Santa Fe salad with grilled chicken. I asked to swap out Pepper Jack cheese for Parmesan Cheese, but the manager(I’m assuming) told the preparer to tell me that it’s extra. I’m sorry, it’s extra to change out a topping? I might as well get both toppings then(or keep just the original Pepper Jack), what the heck! The preparer passes my salad to the chopper without even asking whether I’d like anything else in it, but no big deal. I just asked the chopper to add in an egg and some cucumbers. He then asked this same manager to pass him some cucumbers — this stingy ~^!@#$ literally drops over at most 8 of these teeny bopper cucumber pieces. Yes, I counted. Uh seriously? First you wouldn’t change out my cheese, and then you wanna skimp out when I’m actually paying for additional toppings? I’m gonna remember you, lady! You’ve got glasses, and you’re Latina, working on a Monday evening. The next time I’m up for a salad in this neighborhood, I’m going to Sweetgreen. Staff is so much more accommodating, the price is slightly cheaper, and another plus is that I think it tastes better. Buhbye, Chop’t!

Definitely one of my favorite places to go for a fresh, delicious salad bowl. Their service is really great with friendly staff members all the way down the line. For those who have never been, you basically tell them what you want in your salad(or choose a pre –selected combo from the menu) and they use this large knife and cop it up and mix it all together. It’s really cool to just watch it and it tastes great while making you feel healthy! I will say it is not your cheapest salad option though, prices ranging from $ 8 and above.

It’s A-OK, not great, not bad. I love salads which I sometimes think can be interpreted as, «I don’t really like to eat real food and salads are so green and healthy» so no, that is not why I love salads… I love salads because I love any food where each bite offers a lot of variety. This is my first time at Chop’t! I’ve been a fan of Lenny’s for years and adore their chopped salad. At Chop’t, I ordered the mesclun mix with grilled chicken, cucumbers, tomatoes, broccoli, cheddar cheese and corn with the tex-mex ranch dressing. The first 4 toppings are free and then you pay for additional toppings and meat. My salad just lacked something and actually tasted a little bland. A few things that perplexed me were that they don’t have any raw onions, you can get fried or caramelized but not raw. And while they have a plethora of dressing options, I felt they didn’t have some really standard traditional flavors such as honey mustard or Italian. The great thing about these sorts of places are that the creations are endless! So maybe you’re not a fan of your salad, you can try a million other combinations the next time. Good for lunch!

Not comparable to Fresh&co, in my opinion, in terms of food and environment. But the service is Okay.

Meh. Had a once-in-a-blue-moon stroke of inspiration to be healthy and try salad from this place since a few people have raved about it, but I am sorry to say that I was not impressed. I opted for the make-your-own and put in spinach, mesclun greens, Chipotle chicken, cucumber, corn, edamame, and tomatoes with their 5 Flavor Asian dressing. Maybe I’m just super bad at cobbling together a salad but it was just a very mediocre experience. The chicken was rather dry and there were just WAY too many greens compared to all of the other items. I appreciated the prompt delivery and sturdy packaging but I won’t be venturing into salad land again any time soon.

While we were eating one of stuff members was taking garbage cans to the street right through the dining area. Moreover, he had 4 or 5 like this, so he was stacking empty ones right next to our table, literally 2 feet away from us. eating. This was just disgusting, so we left right away. Never coming back. PS. too bad I cannot give negative rating, so have to give 1 star :-/

I’m obsessed with salad. As weird as it sounds, I could eat salad everyday, with the occasional chocolate cake and steak. I like Chop’t because the salads are great. I love the Chop’t Cobb with Dijon Vinaigrette, it’s really good. This location is a little small with few seats, it’s clean and the staff is friendly.

Going«green» has never been easier – eat a CHOPTSALAD. #seewhatididthere And NO this ain’t a Food Network Show. seriously, i’m not talking about saving the environment – you can still drive that gas guzzling SUV. i’m «tawking» about getting some veggies in your belly! the large narrow-ish salad-ery stretches a mod clean eco-friendly design(metal, light and dark woods, bright lights) with some eclectic touches. the good thing is no space is wasted yet there’s not that feeling of «crowdedness» like the sidewalks on Broadway below Houston! tons of seating, tables and booths from the entrance all the way to back. yes. there’s a bathroom in the back! the salad/assembly area is pretty standard for CHOP’T. giant illuminated menu highlighting all of the exotic salads with fancy schmancy ingredients(like the baja corn cobb), classic Chopt Salads(Cobb Salad, Mexican Caesar, etc.), grain salads(want supergrains and greens. try’em) or hot salads(cold veggies. hot meat. sounds tasty and/or dirty). every salad comes with a complimentary piece of bread(it’s a small piece of wrap… they put on top of your salad. nothing extravagant. tastes fine.) most salads can be «SANDWICHED» so you can get your bowl of veggies, cheese, dressing and protein into a plump burrito-styled wrap! Vege-pocalypse! you can also customize your own salad… i find this too be too much work because there are too many choices and also you back up the line. there’s a kids menu – which is nice to have you want a small cheap salad aka a snack. also if you’re a parent, grandparent, etc. who like building better food habits for your kids(aka punishing them) with healthy eats instead of plumping them up with dino shaped chick’n nuggets and bologna samwiches in… then CHOPT has options for your wee ones. there are snacks etc. here. but meh. too much healthful food makes me want to smash things… these snacks aren’t sugar bombs which i need. however if you’re sweet tooth and need a healthy option: the cookies, bars, etc. at CHOPT should suffice. CHOPT assembly line is pretty standard for salad eateries. your assembler puts all the ingredients in a bowl and hands you an order slip, your salad is pushed down to the CHOPPER who dices your salad with samurai skill, you make your dressing choice and your salad is then dressed, topped with bread(if you asked), and packaged up for you to take down to the register. staff is fast. friendly. hardworking. CHOPT seems to treat its employees well. good times. PROTIP1: DOWNLOADTHECHOPT app. you can pay with the app via a tethered credit card. you earn rewards etc. which breaks down to a 10% discount when you redeem. PROTIP2: too lazy to eat healthy bc your behind is melded to the couch. you can order delivery through the CHOPT website as well. PROTIP3: avoid this location during typical lunchtime, weekdays. it can be crowdzilla – tourists + office workers. i opt for late lunches or dinner takeout. no lines, CUZ! favorite salad here currently: CHOPTPOBOY. substitute kale for romaine. light on the ranch dressing. delish. protein packed, roughage-palooza. WHOO CHOPT makes it so easy to eat better at ~$ 10 a pop drops mic, so i can go VEGGG out at CHOPT! #seewhatididthere i out. zzz.

I usually love Chopt’ but the service at the Soho location is horrible. I work near by and like to call in my order to have it delivered. I called and they put me on hold 3 times, each time being very long. I placed my order and requested to them to reiterate it back to me; since they have messed up my ordered 2 times prior. I asked to add chicken and was charged for it, only to find no chicken in my salad. I am not one to complain much but this was the third time they messed up my order. I called the location, was put on hold again, and spoke to who I think was the manager. There was no apology. Instead, she said the next time it happens to have the salad sent back so they could show the staff. I didn’t want to wait an additional 40 minutes for my food. She said she would refund my card and hung up the phone without saying bye. I’m super disappointed since I’ve been a very loyal customer for years, but I will never go back or order from the Soho location ever again.

Delicious salad, super filling, and the service is also very fast. I’ll eat here for every meal only if I had the money. The price for the salad is a bit high, but the salad is really good. They also have free bread if you ask them.

Can’t say enough good things about this place. Food is great and uncomplicated, staff is wonderful and accommodating and location(for me) makes this place a no brainier for my lunch choice. Let’s keep it short because this could get long. Don’t let the out the door line deter you if you find yourself coming during rush hour because they move promptly and effectively. I would suggest getting the app and paying through that if you come offer because for every $ 100 you get $ 10 off. Might as well keep track of you come often. I’ve tried the mexicalican vegan(added chicken) Santa Fe And the harvest Cobb(favorite)

Otimo lugar de salad creation! Várias opções saudáveis e saborosas. Eu pedi o bom e velho ceaser salad, a porção é grande e sai super estufada. Preço ótimo gastar 10 dólares e lugar limpinho!!!

After a day of touring the city with my sister and noshing on delicious goodies, we were looking for a place with some lighter fare that was quick, since we didn’t have too much time before we had to leave the city. We happened to spot this place as we walked down the street and I’m glad we went in! The ingredients seem really fresh, and I enjoyed the salad that I ended up with. I liked being able to really customize my food and that there were options for my gluten-avoiding sister as well.

For the most part I do not review fast food chains(I consider this fast food lol) but today’s service was just fabulous. I have been coming here nearly 3 times a week for the last 6 months when I moved to soho. It’s perfect if you wanna grab a quick meal after the gym or before work without feeling guilty. You can customize your salad to your palate or to match your nutritional needs. If you feel lazy they also do have recommended salads. Today a small mistake was made on my salad. They put arugula instead of spinach and I caught it on my receipt. They immediately apologized with no questions asked and offered to remake the salad. I was in a bit of a rush and it was partially my fault for not watching the guy making my salad so I said it was no problem. They could see I wasn’t happy so they didn’t just leave it at that and refunded my money. So impressed! I think an upper management person was present cus he was wearing a suit and was sincerely concerned with my satisfaction. Two thumbs up ! :)

For a year I waited in long lines for their Modern Asian with Chile Lime dressing, asking why they could not figure out a quicker service. Well, they finally found a way to reduce their ridiculously long wait time — they completely revamped the menu. Now, unless you want to wait in line to create your own salad like every other bodega in town offers, they’ve managed to completely alienate loyal customers. Oh, and they upped their prices too … I love when MBA corp execs outsmart themselves right out of the market. Well done.

Since their opening, the service has fallen and they’ve started to skimp on ingredient quantities. Their workers are not as thorough in their chopping. It’s quite annoying to have to tell them I want my salad chopped and the place is called Chop’t. I realize that this may sound asinine, but it’s a serious pet peeve of mine.

As good as overpriced chain salads can get! Don’t be deterred by the long lines at lunch time, it moves very quickly. For a newbie, it can be a bit overwhelming. But after my first Chop’t experience, I craved another one. I have only had one salad to date and that is the Mexican Caesar. Something about crushed tortilla chips in my salad that makes me crunch crazy. The texture is addicting. The Mexican Caesar dressing is delicious as well. If you use your chop’t app to pay, you get a $ 10 credit after you spend $ 100… considering that in the 2 times I have been there, I have spent close to $ 23 total, it might pay to use the app. I have no complaints other than I need to make more money to fund my cravings for crunchy salads.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm chicken Cobb salad is da bomb!!! Awesome service by friendly and normal people and finally found a salad that tastes great. Either their salads taste really undelicious or crazy delicious where I want even more salad if you can imagine ever wanting more salad ever in your life. I couldn’t even fathom this before I ate.This.Salad.Here. Some of you are like, wait whaaaaaat… a craving for more salad?! Haha no way… Whaaaat?! That’s just plain unlikely like the existence of unicorns, but yeah dudes, it really happened and I’m happy for this healthy addiction. I get the Cobb wit fresh squeezed lemon juice on it and it’s seriously so awesome! Even when they run outta avocado on you it’s still soooo daaayuuum good.

Great location in Soho. Close to the spring street 6 train. Plenty of seating. Staff are pretty fast even though when I went the line was out the door. Salad is def. Fresh and tasty. Gets busy during lunch rush and evening rush. How to order: 1) Walk up to the guy in the front and choose what kind of salad and what kind of ingredients. They will then pass the salad bowl to the worker next to him. 2) The next worker will chop the salad up for you and choose what kind of dressing you want. They will toss it and mix it before putting it back into the plastic salad bowls. 3) Bring salad bowl to the register where you can choose your drinks and chips. Ask for a thin pita bread if you so desire. 4) Find a seat and enjoy or run home and eat it while it’s fresh. I ordered a classic bowl with chicken and beef. Chicken was very dry but if you ask for some dressing on the side, you can dip your meatsin and it would taste much better. During a rush when they have a lot of customers, sometimes the area with multiple ingredients gets mixed a little when the servers grab and dump them into your salad. For example I saw a piece of onion in the tomato container. If the servers don’t really look, they could be giving you a piece of onion with your tomatoes or any other ingredient. If you have food alergies, it might be best to tell them before you order so that they are aware and try to be more careful when mixing things.
