I love this place, it’s slowly becoming my go-to lunch place. I’ve had the Mediterranean Salad and the Mediterranean Sandwich and they are SO good! The roasted eggplant and tapenade are delicious. You can’t beat the prices. It’s obviously just to pick up and go, but for it’s kind it’s the best there is out there!

Tiny hole in the wall sandwich shop. Literally is just a window, there is no indoors. There is pretty much always a wait for sandwiches which could be 5 – 10 minutes. They are a little disorganized with this process — they don’t take your name or anything and unlike a deli you can’t really watch your food being prepared to be ready when they call you. Sometimes it seems like someone who ordered the same thing as me but after me left with my food. But it is all worth it for some delicious panini sandwiches at a good price.

You know a place is good when there are people in line outside in the cold. All their paninis are amazing, very crunchy and the flavors are incredible. I stuck to the turkey pesto for too long(it’s fantastic and I was obsessed), but branch out, they are all great! I’ve tried their breakfast mediterranean sandwich, delicious and spicy. Their green curry is also really good. After having their exotic tuna salad for lunch today, I realized I had to write a review! Would come back every day if I could! Love Bite!

I work a block away from this quick bite establishment and it has been a life saver so many times when I have no idea what I want to eat. Everything is fresh and made in a timely manner. My favorite go to item is the turkey pesto sandwich that comes with this side salad that has this bomb balsamic vinaigrette. This is a walk up window style establishment. Don’t expect a place to sit down spot because this is not a place to pull up a chair. Great place for a quick, affordable, and tasty bite. Quick tip: Order ahead via phone and try the turkey pesto sandwich!

What a nice little surprise of a soup/sandwich shop. Fantastic lunch option for those in the area. There is a nice variety of options here, and I had trouble finally deciding on a panini-soup combo. I ended up getting the Lentil soup, which was hearty/delicious/amaze-balls(running out of adjectives, you get the point). The panini wasn’t as good as the soup honestly, but it certainly complimented it very well. Good portions for a great price as well, spent less than $ 10. Definitely would recommend to anyone not looking to spend too much for a great lunch.

I used to go to bite on 14th street all the time when I lived nearby… now I can enjoy it when I’m in SoHo! I love their hummus and sandwiches/panini. It’s a great lunch spot to grab and go as its a small store window. You will often find people eating right outside the spot. The middle eastern vegan sandwich is so satisfying — contains eggplant, hummus, their hot sauce if you want spicy, arugula, and tomatoes. Also can get a half soup or salad and half sandwich combo. Everything here is a good value.

Okay, I know everyone LOVES this place but just hear me out! I ordered the Prosciutto and Mozerella panini sandwich. The prosciutto here is not as fresh as you’d like it to be. I repeatedly checked my sandwich and eating bits of the prosciutto individually to make sure it was prosciutto because it didn’t taste like it but a mix between roast beef and ham. Also, beware of the wait. It took me a womping 20 minutes. And there were plenty of people who showed up 10 minutes after me whom also ordered hot paninis and got their’s within 5 minutes. When we walked up to ask, he responds«Your order is not ready» — damn, sad face. but foreals, was that on purpose or did you just forget? I’ll keep an open mind and try other sandwiches, but I’ll probably make my rounds to other spots before i come back again. Until next time bite!

Really enjoyed my sabih sandwich here. Get spicy. It’s not super spicy, just enough heat. Great texture and medley of flavors on the sandwich. I thought it was just a small bit too cold and would of preferred the bread just a small bit softer but overall, it was very good.

Very good, freshly made, hot sandwiches. My cousin and I stopped by to pick up some sandwiches before taking our lunch to go to Washington Square park(this place is a take out window only!) I got the eggplant pesto panini, which was good, but in the future I’d stick with the prosciutto, which my cousin got and was absolutely delicious.

There’s always quite a line here, which is a bit of a downside, but the line moves steadily and the food comes out in a timely fashion. This food stand is pretty wide, but really narrow – I have no idea how the employees fit inside and have room to move around, let alone grill things! There’s a roomy awning over the top, which is great for extreme weather days. The Nutella Banana Ciabatta is delicious. It’s a classic combination that can easily be made at home, but when you’re in the area and are in need of a quick ‘bite’(haha) for breakfast or a snack, it’s a great choice. Another A+ sandwich is the Prosciutto & Mozzarella hot pressed panini. It’s filled with prosciutto, sun dried tomatoes, mozzarella, and pesto making for a very hearty panini. They also toast the bread until it’s super, super crunchy. Likelihood of another visit: Now that I’m in the area more often during the day, I’d love to explore the other menu options. The Smoked Turkey & Pesto panini and the Middle Eastern Turkey sandwich are two items I’ve been curious about.

Delicious and fast to-go breakfast. My personal favourite is the egg sandwich /w ham, cheese and special self-made sauce! Price is in a good range. Coffee could be better but food is great!

Expect food truck speed service from this unusually shaped sandwich spot. That said, everything is really good. Specifically, the bread is very high quality, and good bread goes a long way. I got the black forest ham panini and it was awesome. Will come back for more as I now work in the area. I actually wouldn’t recommend it if you’re in a big hurry though due to the back-up at lunch time.

PRO: Middle Eastern egg sandwich. A flavorful and spicy way to start the morning. Wash it down with a hot cup of coffee and you’re set til lunch, at least. ANOTHERPRO: If an egg sandwich isn’t your thing, there are plenty of other things to choose from including huge pastries and lots of lunch items. They even offer a Nutella banana panini which sounds just too good. CON: The dude behind the counter was super mean. Last visit wasn’t even at a busy time — there was no line, yet he was still short and cranky and got our coffee order wrong then said it was our fault. ANOTHERCON: No seating at all so you’ll have to be willing to walk and eat, take to go, or just hover over a tiny little ledge they have. Would be fine, but the Middle Eastern sandwich is super messy so be prepared with tons of napkins. Unfortunately, the guy behind the counter was very unhappy to give us extras. As you can see, a pretty good balance of pros and cons, but at the end the tasty breakfast sandwich and the reasonable prices win out and make me a fan. The other things can be ignored while I enjoy!

Seeing as this place is 1 block from my workplace I’ve made it a mission to try almost every panini/sandwich they have … The summary of my visits follows: 1. Avg wait time of 10 min for your order 2. Always pretty filled with people 3. Service is spotty, not the friendliest and kind of dismissive when asks questions of your order. Why 4 stars then? The Paninis & sandwiches. Legit worth the wait. The stars: Turkey Pesto Panini, Roast Beef Sandwich The honorable mention: Salami panini The pass: Ham panini The mission isn’t over, but so far so good.

This teeny shop on the corner of Lafyette and Bleecker turns out some good lunch sandwiches. The apples + brie is fantastic, but be prepared to wait a little bit for it. Service is a tad slow.

I got the tuna sandwich. Loved the curry spices that they added. Didn’t like the really super thick bread it was on. Next time, I might order it as a wrap instead. Will be coming back to try other sandwiches!

My favorite lunch place in the city for cheap eats/big bang for your buck meal. I always alternate between the paninis and add on a coffee/lemonade to go. It’s a great deal for under $ 9. Besides the price, the taste is always spot on. Only crazy thing is, you’re almost always guaranteed an average wait time of 15 minutes. I’ve taken the most erratic lunch time breaks and there has always been a line in front, or one building behind me. Sometimes, it can be a struggle to know who has ordered already and who’s also waiting. The unofficial system noted: left of register– haven’t ordered, right of the register– waiting for orders. However, I’d rather wait here and have them make it right than go to another place where they’re churning out sub-par sandwiches.

This place is good for a grab-and-go breakfast! The wait was very short and the service was very friendly. I ordered an iced coffee and a ham and egg sandwich without any expectations. The iced coffee was nothing special but the ham and egg sandwich was EXACTLY what I was looking for. The ham was savory and the egg was not soggy on the croissant at all. The sandwich was a tad greasy, but not to the point where you felt like you were shortening your lifespan. If I ate savory breakfasts more often, I would definitely go to Bite again. I think the only way my breakfast could have tasted better would have been if I hadn’t been forced to stuff it down my throat before going into the IRS.(Word to the wise: The IRS is on some crazy power trip where they will confiscate your food if you try to bring it in. Who knew a ham and egg sandwich was a national threat?)

I had seen this place a few times and it always seemed busy. I decided to stop in for lunch the other day and grabbed a sandwich. I ordered the Turkey and pesto panini on chibatta. This sandwich was pretty delicious. All the ingredients were fresh and I love chibatta. This was so good that I went back the next day. This time I ordered the middle easter turkey. Now this was a truly awesome sandwich. I ordered it spicy, but it wasn’t really that spicy. I will definitely be back again. Try it out. .
