Chipotle Mexican Grill

Chipotle HQ made this right. They apologized and assured me that I am most certainly not «banned» from chipotle. They also gave me some free burrito vouchers. Not happy with the initial service, but anytime a company does the right thing to rectify their wrong, I respect that. I have gone back twice since the incident without any issues. Thank you Chipotle.

This Chipotle location was alright & did its job for me. I liked how spacious its interior was: there are eight tables: three high ones, two low ones, and three against the walls (all of them long).
I normally get the chicken bowl with lettuce + tomatoes, rice, corn, and guacamole. The guac here was a dull jade green color, and I didn’t like that there were chunks of avocado in my bowl that were tasteless. Other Chipotle locations have guac that’s fresh and a brighter green color.

I got a coupon for a free burrito, so I figured I’d give Chipotle a chance. I hadn’t been since they sort of stormed New York a bunch of years ago. But who knows, things change, maybe the masses were on to something.
And I guess the biggest take away is that it was so bland. Like I couldn’t believe how flavorless everything was. The tortilla, the rice, the beans, the meat… Even the salsas were flavorless. The hot one had heat, but no taste. It was strange and troubling.
One of the reasons I like Mexican food is because of the complex, amazing flavors. It should be an explosion of delicious in your mouth. But Chipotle kind of takes that thought and says, nope. We will give America the bland food that we will tell them they want. And for like ten bucks.
On the plus side, the restaurant was clean, the staff pleasant and during nice weather, it’s probably enjoyable to sit outside.
But I’d go elsewhere for food.

The person preparing my bowl didn’t understand what i meant when i asked for an «extra filling» my guacamole on my burrito bowl was brown and so was the guacamole on the side that I paid extra for. Never had such a bad lunch experience.

Giant, delicious burrito just cured my hangover. Super satisfied. Now I just need a nap.
Nice outdoor space with tables at this location for dining and relaxation.
Staff was polite, efficient, and were burrito rolling pros. It’s located right next to a New York Sports Club so you can work off your food baby post binging.

Worst Chipotle I’ve been to in the city. I live close and have been here multiple times. This is how the convo goes every single time:
Me: Bowl to go
Worker: to stay or to go?
Me: to go
Worker: white or brown rice?
Me: No rice but both beans
Worker: black or pinto beans?
Me: both (annoyed at this point)
Worker: what kind of meat?
Me: no meat
Worker: no meat?
Me: Nope (keep getting annoyed)
Worker: Salsa?
Me: little bit of hot
Worker: (puts a whole scoop of hot salsa)
Me: I said A LITTLE
Worker: (stares at me)
Me: Sour cream
Worker: (puts a little bit of sour cream)
Me: can I have a little more sour cream?
Worker: (looks at me angrily)
THEY DON“T LISTEN. Most recently when I went in they were out of sour cream. Another time they were out of regular bags of chips and refused to give me 2 kids size chips because «what if someone wants a kids meal?» (there were multiple bags of kids chips on the shelf). Very few of the staff are polite, most act indignant. I go to the one on 31^st and Park now.

Very spacious, outdoor patio… What more do you need?
I’ve never had a problem with this Chipotle. Staff is friendly and are fast when you have limited time. Coming here during lunch hours might look intimidating but the staff really hurry the lines up.
Food is fresh and I have always left here satisfied.

Chipotle p used to be good. Maybe it’s this location. Did they go salt and sodium free up in this piece?! The most souless meal I have ever had at a Chipotle.
It’s 1:00pmish. I expect you to have all the ingredients ready and available. I started to walk out but opted to wait. And the attitudes … Nah you can keep that. I was so hungry. Now I am full and dissatisfied! Ugggghhhhh
Tables are dirty and when she did clean them it was so half ass. Why bother?! No Chipotle Tabasco sauce… I can’t even around this place… what the hell is going on this establishment? Next time I will stick to my craving and not ever come back here again!

Food is great, when available.
Unfortunately, I’ve been to this Chipotle on several occasions where they were out of numerous items on the menu. Management does not seem capable of managing the flow of business.
Go to the restaurant on Park if you need your Chipotle fix!

Chicken bowl turned out to be way too spicy when asked for low spice — not good
Portion much smaller than other Chipotle location — not good at all.

I used to come to this location a lot and stopped because the food was becoming inconsistent and they were beginning to make it very spicy.
I also had a bad experience where I realized the cashier didn’t give me the correct change. I went back to the counter and spoke to someone who ask to see my receipt. I told him that I folded up the receipt with my change and was short changed by $ 10. He then was getting ready to get the manager until the cashier who short changed me asked what was going on? When he told her, she said «oh hold on» and pulled out a crumbled $ 10 bill tucked under the register which made it obvious that she was trying to take $ 10.
Other than those issues, the location us try clean and they have staff constantly walking through to make sure the seating and drink area is always clean.

What’s not to love about Chipotle?! Their food is amazing and fresh and never disappoints!

A decent Chipotle, one of the better ones I’ve been to in NY but nothing extraordinary. Outdoor seating is great, there’s always usually a line but that staff keep it moving.
They lose a star because they always short change me on the guac! Come on, if I’m paying $ 2 extra for it, you better give me a hefty sampling of that green gooey goodness!
Also, burrito bowls all the way!

This location deserves no stars. Based on the experience I had today. The people who work there are extremely unhappy, rude and unprofessional.
I came in today at 12:00 (01÷26÷15) and it wasn’t busy thankfully! There was no one standing in line, I was excited to order! The tables had customers so it wasn’t dead. I get my usual steak bowl and I always ask for peppers and onions. When I asked for it this time, she quickly shifted my bowl to the next station w/​o putting the peppers and onions on. Fine, maybe she didn’t here me? So I asked the following person to please add the peppers and onions and he said «dios mio» which pretty much means slang for «oh my goddddd» and then he rolled his eyes.
HELLO DUDE IM STANDING RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU!!!
I didn’t respond and acted as if I didn’t hear him say that. –also the people working here literally gave me half the normal portions I would get anywhere else.
They don’t care about customer service and treat you like you’re in a high school cafeteria. I spend a good amount of money here with a steak bowl, chips, guac and beverage and would appreciate a more friendly atmosphere. It’s not even about how much any person spends. It’s about customer service and treating others the way you would like to be treated.
In conclusion after entering to unhappy faces, little portioned food from the norm, rude comments and body language I will not be bringing my business to this location again. WARNING!!! The people here maybe rude! My friends, family and roommates will also hear my feedback, I wouldn’t want anyone I know to receive the same experience as I did.

I think that this is one of the better Chipotles in Manhattan and that it’s a great lunch option if you’re working at NYULMC :) The tables are really clean, there is always ample seating even during busy lunch hours, and the servers are really nice as well! Also, I like how there are huge windows so you get to see the hustle and bustle of Midtown Manhattan (one of my favorite neighborhoods!).
I always opt to get the burrito bowl instead of the burrito since it’s less messy and I prefer fork food. I like getting brown rice (healthier), steak (I’ve also tried chicken/​carnitas but steak always wins), salsa, cheese, and guac. Yum! It’s about $ 8 – 10 for one burrito bowl which I wouldn’t consider cheap but it tastes so good so I guess it’s ok to splurge once in a while :) I would definitely recommend!
PS. This store is located in a food center (incorrect term??) so there’s also seating outside as well! I’ve eaten outside before on a beautiful summer day and loved being surrounded by city life!

I love Chipotle, and I have visited many of them in at least five states. This is the worst among them. would recommend the manager visit their colleage at 9761 Vista Way
Garfield Heights, OH to see how Chipotle shold be.
The taste is at its standard, no doubt about it. However, I was not happy about the size. The bowl to go I order contain only half (exactly half) of what I got from other Chipotles. For one moment, I thought my friend who picked the order for me eat my lunch. Half of the bowl paper was clean without food contact. Maybe they focused too much on profit.
Over all, I only need buy lunch here once.

I’m addicted to their chips and guacamole. This is one of my go to work lunch spots. The staff are friendly and I always have quick service. It’s a wide open space with plenty of seating.
You now can get a margarita at this location. Sometimes work can give you that margarita urge! ha! But I behave!

–they’re skimping on each item but overall still friendly

–Why three stars? Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE Chipotle but 1) their prices have risen 2) their portions have diminished.
–Paying $ 8.5-$ 9 for a meal that can’t fill me up is a bit ridiculous.

It’s FINALLY open :) I’ve been watching for months as this place went under gut renovation and now the day has come!
The location of this Chipotle is top notch. Employees are friendly & the space is huge! Welcome to the neighborhood! ;)
