I can’t tell you how many times I’ve walked in this place early in the day and they do not have all the food prepared. I waited on an additional line during lunch(25 – 30 people) after waiting on the original line… They didn’t have any chicken. I’ve also been in there when it’s just open and told they won’t have cheese ready for 45 minutes. When they do have everything prepared, they move slower then most of the other stores.

The employees here are rude. Depending on who you get to make your burrito — your portion could be 50% larger or smaller. A customer in front ordered a beef soft taco– he received more meat than the next person who was having a burrito. The burrito is twice the price and size of portion should reflect that. They need to be consistent, people on the line were discussing how varied the amounts are. Some people get one scoop of the meat others get 2 or 3??? Just annoying and off putting. With all the health department issues one would think they would be trying to please people. When one man complained he was told«portions are always equal». If someone points it out. Remake their order. Don’t argue back.

My main problem with this location and all the others is that there is no consistency when you order a burrito! The amount of meat and other items in the Barito greatly depends on who is serving you and many of the workers at this location in particular are extremely stingy with the meat! Do they get a bonus for stiffing you? When waiting on line, I frequently would dread getting certain workers because I knew I would not be getting much in the way of filling while the person in front of me would get someone else and be given a full-sized Barito; I want lunch, not a crapshoot

The worst location ever. Everything here is too salty. Even the chips are SALTY as hell that I gave up on eating after three bites. Employees lack positive energy… Nope!

I guess I’m one of the lucky ones that had a positive experience, looking at all the other reviews. Chipotle is a great option for those that want to get something to grab and go and for those that are indecisive about what to eat(although the nearby Shake Shack is tempting too). Service was standard and you can always expect the same quality over and over again. My usual order is their bowl with chicken, lettuce, cheese, corn and black beans.

Employee handling food without gloves, and this after they shut down for the food safety training. Not cool.

I guess I’ve just been lucky enough to be here when there is hardly anyone in line, so I can’t speak on how fast the line moves. However, I can say this is the best Chipotle I’ve had in NYC. After a few negative experiences at other Chipotles that had food that had terrible after tastes(one which reminded me of how bleach smells), I had pretty much sworn off eating Chipotle in NYC again. However, on a whim and since I was craving it, I decided to try this one. The food here is as good as any other great Chipotle. And they fill the burrito bowls too!

This location has roaches(check the NYC restaurant grading website if you want). It looks clean but knowing this, I would give it zero stars if I could. The food here is consistent with all the other great meals I’ve had at other chipotles but after discovering their bug problem I won’t be visiting this location again. Gross.

A long line just because the employees are so disorganized and EXTREMELY lazy. They’re just chatting in spanish and taking their time as if nobody was there. So disrespectful: we left after waiting for 20 minutes to find out that they were even out of chicken.

They charged me for two chicken burrito bowls when I only got one!!! Realized when I got home, so it’s too late to go back. But really, charging me for the food I pay and not overcharging me should be a minimum requirement. Please tell your cash registers to be more careful.

I was disgusted as I passed this restaurant today and noticed its B rating. After eating here a few weeks ago(which I debated seeing as chipotle had so many health scares/e.coli cases this year), I got very sick. I figured it may be psychological since I was already paranoid about getting sick, but after speaking to two doctors in the area I discovered I wasn’t the only one. Chipotle used to be my go to. Very fresh, clean, filling food. Now it’s no better than your below average food cart. Be ready to get sick. I guess the health department discovered this too. B rating in the window.

Slowest moving line ever. I’ve been to so many Chipotle restaurants all over NYC, and usually the line is pretty quick. This location’s line is especially painful to wait in. On other occasions, I’ve waited in line and just left. As usual to restaurants, there are large carry-out orders, but this location seems to be understaffed. Food is similar in quality to all other Chipotles. Just don’t expect to get your burrito fast.

This is the SLOWEST chipotle I have ever been to in my life. Lines are consistently to the door and usually take 20+ minutes to get through. When you get to place your order, they are usually out of at least one ingredient regardless of the time of day or day of the week. The staff is rude and frequently need to check with one another over routine procedures. I live in the area and this is my only chipotle option, so I will continue to frequent the location, but I would recommend increasing the staff or at least better training them. I love chipotle so I obviously won’t stop coming here, but c’mon! Make the service better!

I want to add to the comments about the bad service at this Chipotle. I frequently visit this store in spite of the long lines and the poor appearance. My biggest complaint is that they do not seem to care about outages, particularly outages of vegetables. They have been out of cooked vegetables three of the last five times I’ve been, including tonight. And when I asked for raw veggies, they said they did not even have those. I complained to the girl who said she is the mgr. and received a shrug of the shoulders. I don’t think is how chipotle wants to treat their customers.

I looovvveee Chipotles. I would have it everyday if I could. I’m use to going to the Chipotles on Fulton Street which is always awesome. Needless to say I was surprised when I went to the Chipotles in my area — 84th street and the food was horrible. The service was poor and the place was a bit messy. I figured it was me — but then I experienced the same thing the second time. Final decision — I’ll stick with Chipotles on Fulton Street.

I don’t know what it is about this location, but the line is ALWAYS out the door. And maybe I’d stand in it if I knew it moved fast, but it definitely doesn’t. I’ve seen other locations, namely the one on 83rd and Broadway, and noted how fast the line was going. This one never matches the efficiency. There’s always a cashier who doesn’t know what he/she is doing or a missing food item, which no one anticipated to make more of, so the entire line has to wait for it, because, of course, the person up next to pay wanted their chicken/guac/grilled veggies/whatever. What’s more, last week I decided to wait until late to go so I could avoid the line, and knowing it closes at 10 p.m., I wandered over around 9:30 to find it CLOSED. The sign on the door even says it closes at 10 p.m. It’s unacceptable to close 30 minutes early, in my book. And if you change your hours, the first priority should be changing the door sign. I love Chipotle, but I hate this location. Which is a shame, because it’s a block away form my apartment. Sometimes, I’ll decide to stroll by just to see if the line isn’t astronomically long. I’m always disappointed.

Never coming back here again. I understand it is lunchtime, LATE lunchtime, but nonetheless, one should allowed all options in the spread. By the time I’ve told the female belligerent yelling in an obviously aggravated tone that I wanted a burrito bowl, my order is assumed & at the register for $ 12. Its sloppy, doesn’t have half of what I wanted in it but I was short on time and needed lunch. Just mushy warmth throughout. The second star is because I’ve eaten chipotle at other locations and it is typically consistently good, but this was a huge turn off.

Get a craving for Chipotle a couple times a month, and this location delivers. Am always amazed at how long the line is, and how quickly it moves. Usually if the line reaches the entry door, it takes about 10 minutes until your placing your order. Friendly staff, quick service…

Once a week my boyfriend and I come to dine at our local Chipotle. The line is always almost out the door, but it moves fast. The servers are so quick to make your meal, just make sure you know what you want before you get in front of them. They don’t want indecisive thinkers. I will always say ‘yes’ to Chipotle.
