Great pizza, especially the spinach artichoke slice! Always quick service as well! The card minimum is only 6 bucks as well! Seating is a bit limited so big groups may have a hard time with getting seating. Otherwise couldn’t recommend this place enough!

Came to check this place out, on a gloomy day. I got thin crust pizza. One margarita & one bacon chicken ranch. The pizza dough is quite tasty & crisp. The basil could have been a bit fresher, but the cheese & sauce was tasty. If I had the choice, the chicken wouldn’t be breaded, just shredded chicken breast. There was plenty enough bacon & ranch on it, which made it stand out.
My friend who suggested the place, had two cheese slices which he loved.
I tend to be very picky about my slices, but I’m sure I’ll come enjoy another slice here
Definitely reasonable price & customers service was on point.

This pizza is so damn good. Even tho i now live halfway around the globe, I made sure to stop by here on my last trip to nyc. As expected it was crisp and FULL of flavor. Prices are awesome and even the customer service is what you wouldn’t expect in NYC — friendly and great! Champion pizza I will miss your dearly. Until my next trip home!

The champion pizza was recommended to us by a friend. It is off the main streets but located at a convenient spot. We had margherita, buffalo chicken, and lazagnia and it was so delicious. Highly recommend. There is an ATM machine on site. You can pay with credit card too. Absolutely one of the best places!!! This is my second time that I went over there and im in love with this place

Found this place while working and looking for a quick bite. I’ve always walked past it on my way to Eileen’s (next door) and I’m so glad I actually stopped to get a slice.
I’ve had a lot of generic slices in the city — too much sauce here, dough is too thick and chewy here, yadda yadda. Slices here are perfectly crisp and cheesy with the right amount of sauce. And that lasagne slice! Holy shit. I don’t even like ricotta but I’ll eat an entire pie if I had the time.
Sometimes the place gets super packed, especially if asshole parents bring their strollers inside. Get a hot slice to go.

I’ve walked past this place countless times. Came in here after wanting to eat a salad at Sweet Green but their outrageous lines killed my mood. Small venue. Very delicious pizza. Not too greasy. Packed with flavor. Perfect dough-​to-​ingredients ratio. I’m a little confused with their photographs. They seem to be very «well known» like those other big guys are but Unilocal shows a very limited amount of reviews. Hm. Weird. Either way, good stuff.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s good, but I wouldn’t really go out of my way for it. It’s $ 2 for a basic NY dollar cheese slice but the crust is a perfect golden flakey goodness that more or less makes the extra dollar worth it, kind of. It’s still the simple non-​complex ingredient pizza that you expect from any halfway reputable pizza joint in the city.
It’s a cheap quick lunch in a comfortable setting. There’s a lot of people in out (hopefully you don’t get stuck right in front of the door on a cold day) but there’s just enough space to accommodate that traffic and still seat about 2 dozen people comfortably.
Come for a nice taste of NYC. Stay a little bit and people watch.

So this was not a destination but the others had long lines so as we drifted in the area we stumbled on this place.
Shot gun style restaurant layout, this place actually services very yummy pizza: thin crust, crispy edges, good sauce and the right amount of toppings.
And the place is just cool to sit in and stare at all the pictures on the walls.

This pizza is seriously delicious. Not too greasy. I usually get the square tri color with pesto always amazing. Very fresh flavors and fresh taste — not like a lot of other places. They have good variety of pies and the service is efficient. There is space to sit and eat too.

I am surprised that there are only 7 valid reviews on Unilocal.I was just walking by and decided to have quick afternoon slice. This is another pizza station by famous dough twirler Hakki Ardeniz who won fastest pizza and free style aerobatics.
I had a specialty square of the Lasagne variety. It was $ 3.8 including tax. The thin outer crust was crispy with a lot of chewiness inside. There was a thin layer of ricotta spread along the crust giving up that creaminess in each bite. On Top, there was globs of super sweet marinara sauce, moist mini sausage meatballs, and plenty of parsley.
My only complaint was that the marinara sauce was not heated all the way through.
