Effortlessly cool and charming. Thoughtful delicious food. Clever wine and beer list. Sweet patio. Dog friendly. An oasis in a forgotten Chinatown pocket. Gracious welcoming staff. Everything you’d dream of stumbling on to but also worth the effort to seek as a final destination.

Our office ordered lunch from this place when we are tired of the Chinese food in the neighborhood. People there are nice, and I like their sandwich a lot

Let me start off by saying this restaurant isn’t just all about breakfast and brunch. Dinner is where CC’s really shines. I dined there with 7 of my friends and they all had low expectations because of the«café» part of the name and all the reviews about breakfast. But every single one of them were amazed at dinner. I went with the classic chicken penne pasta with cream sauce(I’ve had this 3 times now), 2 friends ordered the steak w/mashed potatoes, 2 shared the angel hair pasta, 2 had the salmon dish and another tried the roasted chicken. No one left disappointed. In fact, my friend slept over this week just so she can go back to CC’s for dinner. The dinner menu is small and concise, but they’re all very solid dishes. The reason I gave 4 stars is because I’ve had breakfast there before and it wasn’t anything extraordinary. Additionally, the angel hair pasta is a little lacking in flavor, in my opinion. But everything else on the dinner menu excels. When I was there last they also started offering new specials to boost their dinner menu. It’s a very small restaurant with a bar area and a few tables. The location is a little out of the way, but fortunately super close to where I live. You never really need to wait for a table, but because there seems to be only 1 cook, there may be a bit of a wait for food. However, they serve a good selection of wine and beer to keep you company while you wait for the deliciousness to happen. Price is mid-range for dinner, between $ 14 – 18 per entrée.

A very cute café/restaurant if you’re ever in the area and NOT craving Chinese food. I had skipped lunch earlier that day and could not hold over for dinner. I ordered a plate of strawberry pancakes(yes breakfast food at 5pm, thank you!) and was pleasantly surprised that the strawberries slices were incorporated INTO the pancake. Not the fluffiest of pancakes but they will do. The highlight of this place is their décor and staff. The staff are friendly and conversational. It’s a small café and the atmosphere is very cozy and home-like. On display is a Mona Lisa piece off the brick wall. It’s very noticeably made from recycled computer keyboard keys and they had information on hand about the artist Jesse Holt. I was impressed!

This place is awesome!!! The service, staff, drinks and food are all on point. Not once did I have to search for my service, a staff member was always close by and at our service. The food was out in less then 10 minutes, to top it off it was also delicious!

I love CC’s! Great for brunch, lunch or a date night — it’s a small space with nice ambience. There’s always cool artwork and I love the exposed brick. The service is great, the staff are all attentive and friendly. The prices and portions are good. Most importantly, the food is great! I love their omelets. The eggs are fluffy and perfectly cooked and the fillings are fresh! I also like their house salad. The veggies are fresh and tasty! Their soups are great and I love the salmon too. The salmon was perfectly seasoned and cooked. They also have great coffee and their carrot cake is amazing!

Fantastic, cute little brunch place that appears to double as a wine bar. The setting is very quaint with several tables and bar space available. I saw craft beers and many wine offerings on the menu, all extremely reasonably priced. The staff are super friendly and attentive. My boyfriend and I both ordered the egg wraps, which were healthy and filling. They are completely customizable also! CC’s also has some«off menu» items such as pancakes and French toast. I was also really happy with my Café con Leche. We were informed they make all their pastries in house, which is impressive. The best surprise of all is that the café had an adorable little dog during our visit! She was such a sweetheart and sat next to our table the whole time. She is very obedient but be aware if you have any allergies. Will definitely be back again! A hidden gem. //edit: Came back a couple days later and got the«Lumberjack» which I highly recommend — your choice of pancakes or French toast with eggs and bacon. Perfect way to start your morning! Don’t forget to check in on Unilocal for a free cookie. I am already seriously addicted to their Oatmeal Raisin…

We ordered CCs for delivery off seamless so the restaurant experience may be better. First off, they were late. It happens. Second, we ordered two coffees and they only gave us one. It happens. But it’s the food that brought the stars of this review down. We ordered the veggie«burger», which was not a burger at all(or any kind of patty even loosely resembling a burger. It was mushed up avocado and pesto in a bun. Basically, it was a sandwich of delicious condiments. I honestly think that the cook may have forgotten to put the burger in. We also ordered the West Village sandwich, which was decent but basic. It was essentially avocado, some cheese and alfalfa sprouts. We got the potato salad with both sandwiches and it was subpar. The potato chunks were massive so it was very starchy tasting. We had to cut the potatoes up more, add some salt and mustard to make them decent. Perhaps the meat choices are better, which I will never know. And today may have been an off day.

I love CC’s Café. The best Danishes and Brunch in the city. Check out both locations. One has a back yard. Very cute and special place.

One of the best brunch places I’ve been to, got the croissant sandwich with eggs and bacon, delicious. The eggs were so fluffy, it reminded me of what I had in Hong Kong at capital café. Also tried the soy goodness smoothie and that was also super tasty. The service was great, he kept coming by to check up to make sure things were good and we didn’t need anything else. We arrived around 1:30 and the place was empty so we were late brunchers. This place is cute and very chill, highly recommended and I can’t wait to go back to try their version of the huevos rancheros.

We were visiting China Town and the Brooklyn Bridge, this was a great start to the day. The egg wraps are fantastic, and the iced coffee was really good. The atmosphere is very welcoming and friendly. They also have a good selection of craft beer and wine.

Went in on a Saturday for brunch at their two bridges/Chinatown location. I got a 3 egg omelette with bacon spinach and mushrooms with home fries. They did not provide any seasoning or ketchup on the side and I can tell you that the dish did not require anything extra at all. The bacon was left in strip form inside the omelette and the saltiness of it helped season everything else. I also got the banana split smoothie which came out pretty weell as any smoothie with banana in it would. This place is also priced to how a true neighborhood café/restaurant would be outside of Chinatown so don’t freak out when you pay almost $ 9 for a sandwich and $ 4 – 6 bucks for a hot/cold beverage.

A cool place to have brunch or lunch on the week ends. The staff is always really nice and the little terrace out back is a great hang out when it’s sunny. We sometime wait a little bit for the food but the music is nice so it’s not a problem in the end.

I remember when this place opened I lived right there. And I only went there recently now that I’ve moved away. I never really had the urge to come here… and I don’t have the urge to go back. This place is cute, I will give it that. For brunch, if you’re looking for something to save you from all the Chinese ness going on this place will do the trick. My friend and I both got the egg wraps… I forget which ones. It was just… edible to say the best. I really wish I can say something better. I liked the guy who was serving us. He was very patient. However, the place was empty with one other person on a Saturday afternoon peak brunch time so I really hope for him that this place stays open. The one thing I can really say is that their latte was«on point» if you will. If I drop by, I will definitely take a latte and cookie to go! Otherwise, sorry but there’s amazing dimsum 2 minutes away :/honest opinion.

This is a charming, classy little café I would have NEVER expected to find in Chinatown, especially on this street! I like the artwork and dim lighting here. The chalkboard outside said they have live music on Saturdays. The staff is very friendly. I came by to redeem a PayPal offer(one of those sporadic weekend-only Eat24/PayPal offers). The jumbo Blueberry Muffin($ 2.99 total) was very delicious and fresh, as was the Oatmeal Raisin cookie, which I got for free via a Unilocal check-in offer. The M&M cookie($ 2 + tax), on the other hand, was a little… pepper-y. They have a brunch menu, too. I’m rarely in this area, but I would certainly come back the next time I am(if I’m not craving Chinese food in Chinatown, that is…), especially given the the dearth of comparable American food options in the area.

OMGAHHH I’m writing this from CC’s as I procrastinate over my essay. Well anyway, I’m in NY at a friend’s and her internet stopped working on Thanksgiving. We both have essays to complete so we came to CC’s. I had the«House» egg wrap which was like the best breakfast burrito I’ve ever had. It came with 3 scrambled eggs, bacon, mushrooms, and amazing heavenly cheese. I paid $ 3 to get avocados in it and I could not be happier. The avocados were so fresh and not mushy even wrapped inside. The tortilla was so good to. AMAZING. The wrap before the avocado was JUST $ 5.95. I also ordered a cappuccino(huge!!) and a chocolate chip cookie that’s baked fresh daily. The chocolate chip cookie was thick yet crispy, with thick chunks of chocolate. The cappuccino is to die for with an amazing foamy top. The server is the cutest and could not be friendlier! She recommended the cookie flavor and helped us through the menu. I can’t wait to come back to try their pork tacos for dinner. They started the morning off with some chill reggae tunes and now we’re slowly moving towards soul and jazz. Definitely digging the vibe here and could not have asked for a better place to bum off wifi for a few hours while we try to crank out this essay.
