The only good part about the Eggplant Milanese sandwich was the bag of Sun Chips I purchased on the side. Sandwhich was so dry I had to use hand lotion after holding it. 2 stars for Sun Chips.

From first glance this is such a cute café with lots of seating and ample space. However the service and food is where it falls. I ordered an egg on whole wheat toast with avocado and a small tea. I told the girl I wanted milk and sugar in the tea when I ordered. She asked me two times after if I wanted milk and sugar. The small tea cups are smaller than the average cups that you get for a dollar at the carts. Then the prices are different for the same things because I ordered the exact order the day before. When it came to my sandwich the first day wasn’t too good but I gave them another chance and ordered it again. It was still tasteless. I compared this to getting my usual order at the market café located in the atrium and I was amazed at how market café makes something as simple as avocado and egg on toast, taste so delightfully pleasant and yummy. I noticed how many were getting bagels but I don’t want to waste my money. Back to market café! They’re also cheaper.

We found this place accidentally and decided to try it for lunch. $ 20 for a meal for two that was more than we could eat. The homemade bagels are delicious! Chicken noodle soup & Rosemary chicken salad all made with really fresh ingredients. The guys working here were funny & helpful, too.

While the prices are high, the location is great because it is right next to the train. I occasionally would stop by for breakfast or dinner and I have always thought it was pretty good… until this morning. I ordered a $ 5 breakfast sandwich and a Snapple. They told me my total was $ 9.95. I said that was too high and put the drink back. It then became obvious that they had double charged me for the drink but rather than just apologizing and then all would be good in my book, they didn’t want to acknowledge it. There are way too many breakfast spots within a few blocks of this place to continue going here.

I’ve ordered bagels, egg sandwiches, and muffins through Café Fresco’s Seamless page numerous times(read 50+). The food is consistently fresh, the cream cheese apportioned generously(walnut raisin is my favorite on a toasted blueberry bagel!), and the muffins are large and very tasty. I highly recommend both the double chocolate chip and the coffee cake muffin with chocolate chips, when it’s available. The only problem that I’ve experienced is that sometimes they run out of the sweet bagels like blueberry and cinnamon raisin by midday because they are so popular. I highly recommend Café Fresco. Best bagels and cream cheese and muffins in Midtown East and at a great value.

The food is actually pretty good and reasonable in price but the customer service is terrible and extremely unprofessional. The place is conveniently close to where I work, I tried to stop going because the staff is so awful, I’ve felt personally insulted by them and on another day I watched them insult an older man in front of me, but like I said the food is actually really good. I just wish someone would teach the staff how to act to their customers.

Great food and customer service. Huge ass salads and their food is decently priced. The ingredients for the salads are pretty fresh and you can order your salad to taste or select one of theirs. The Cobb salad is best one, in my opinion. It is a good lunch spot when you do not know what you want because Fresco has a little bit of everything. This is a more of a buy and carry place but there are a few tables(8 – 10) where you can eat your food. Typically, none are available during the lunch rush. The only annoyance that I have with this place is trying to pay for your food because the queue system is a little inefficient for my likes.

A basic bacon egg and cheese on a roll $ 6.25??? Seriously? For 2 measly strips of bacon and cheese that’s not even melted. It was mediocre at best. Your better off just going to a street cart.

Food is ok. Prices seem to change by the day or whoever is at the register. The staff is slow and rude.

I stopped by for a quick breakfast before heading off to a full day of Saturday activities. And was glad I did! The stores is inconspicuous from the outside, with a few seats along the right wall and in the back. There is a display case of various bakery items. My friend and I ordered iced coffees and shared a bagel with cream cheese. I loved my iced coffee, but my friend found it too sweet. I thought the bagel was absolutely delicious with the cream cheese. It was warmed up and toasted, so it hit the spot. It’s actually my first bagel in NYC, so I guess I don’t have much comparison, but regardless, it was good!

This is going to be my go-to lunch spot, and might try brunch one weekend too. Fresh and delicious food, made to order. They have the speed of a deli but with service levels like a restaurant. Super friendly. Tons of choices and good prices. Has indoor seating and one table outside.

I pass this place virtually every weekday from work(Right behind Dylan’s Candy shop). Saw it being built maybe a year ago. Just went in 2 weekends ago for breakfast because the places in Herald Square are usually running our of breakfast ingredients by 10AM. Small but very clean. Cookies, pastries, a nice window for breakfast where you can get bagels and an assortment of cream cheeses, order eggs, etc. So I got ordered eggs and cheese on a plain bagel. .While waiting a small swarm of people entered and it immediately became crowded, and the order took longer to process. Think it was about $ 5. Not bad. When I got to my office the eggs were still warm, tasty and the bagel fresh. This day, 2 weekends later, I ordered olive cream cheese on a toasted plain bagel. Around $ 3. Left a tip too. Took about 3 – 4 minutes because the 2 guys behind the counter couldn’t stop yammering with each other. The counter girl was pleasant as were the other two guys. When I got to the office, PLAIN!!! cream cheese, but they got the bagel right. This is the problem with a lot of food and consumer service people today, they yack and yack with each other or on their cell phones so much they no longer pay attention to what they are doing and mess stuff up. Even though they messed up the order, and I paid extra for nothing, for now they’re getting 4⁄5 because the place is clean and so far the meager amount of food I have ordered has been fresh and slightly cheaper than down town. Advice, when ordering take out, ALWAYS check you order before leaving. It might not be what you want.

En cuanto a la comida s bueno, pero no sobresaliente. Lo que si es para destacar es la buena atención del personal que trabaja detrás de la barra. Es una muy buena opción para desayuno o brunch.

I stood and waited for the guy to take my order for a good 5 minutes and the guy did not even care to even ask me if I was ready. There wasn’t even a line. Air condition was not even working and I was pretty much sweating while eating. Food was not good, my chicken was cold in the middle. I’m giving it a two because I was hungry and the break was good except for the chicken inside of the bread.

Great place. I eat breakfast here everyday and I love the quality and service. The people there are very friendly and are eager to help you. I drink my iced coffee black, and its hard to find a place where your iced coffee does not taste watered down, but Café Fresco’s coffee is Perfect!

Gross AF. I absolutely HATE wasting money on bad food because, unlike clothes, you can’t really return it. I got my food delievered and although it was on time(one star for that!), I shoukdve known how abysmal the food would be after the delivery guy gave me a look of «You fucked up. BAD» through the window as he biked off. And his attempt at telepathic communication was futile after I opened the containers and saw the nastiest and saddest looking breakfast I ever did see. First off, I asked for bacon on the side but it was cooked into the omelette. Thank goodness bacon is bacon is bacon to me. I asked for American cheese on my omelette since its required and to my horror, I saw two fully uncooked, cold slices of cheese slabbed in between the cold stale«omelette.» I honestly think someone who ordered the exact same thing as me saw the food and didn’t want it so they let it sit out and voila, here my unsuspecting self comes blessing them and ordering the exact same thing for delivery. Sad sad times. What makes it even worse is that I hadn’t eaten since 12pm the previous day so I was bloody hungry. I ate the toast and vowed never again.

Tried the Aloha Berry smoothie because I was around the area and thirsty. Even though I got it for free, I wouldn’t come here again. The smoothie was watery and mostly tasted like blueberries without any other fruit that was added. I don’t like my smoothies watery. I’ve tasted much better.
