Expect your hairstyle to always turn out Puerto Rican. The barber put a glob of wet-look gel on my head and combed the hair all to the back to make sure I got that style. He was very harsh and took long enough despite that. I insisted him using no razor and he used it on me anyway. I warned him not to use it but it was too late because he got it out already and he tried to persuade me by telling me that the razor is new. For the same price or lower and half the time, I’d recommend walking toward Columbia for a few blocks to Columbia Barber Shop.

The worst haircut in my life, the barber for some reason decided to put a line through the side of my hair. So now I have a haircut with a line where there is no hair. It seriously looks as if I had brain surgery. I don’t like to write negative reviews but just if you decide to go here explain to the person cutting your hair in detail what you want or you will have to explain your ridiculous haircut to your colleagues or worse yet at a job interview later.

I live in 3210 broadway the building where this barber shop is and I can say this business is the most disgusting place in the neighborhood I stopped by once and I was shocked when I saw how dirty is this place. They have food and alcohol around the shop and it always smells bad The constant loud music is so annoying that the neighbors have to call 311 to make a complain about this people’s lack of respect When they are not cutting hair they will stand at the door to yell at every girl that walks by. When they are at it they have drinks and food and they would throw their trash to the street These people need to be removed from the neighborhood

I’m a female. I’ve been getting my hair done here foreverrrrr. Went through a few stylist(whom left for various reasons) but still great results. I don’t go anywhere else and don’t plan on it as long as they remain here. Ladies, this is NOT the place for u if u are shy and don’t particularly like being gawked at by all types of men. I’ve been coming here for so long that they’re like my family. I’ve gotten use to the loud music. Intense conversations. And the random men staring here and there. So worth it to me.

Quick service, nice taper and line by Jose for $ 15. Typical barbershop, nothing fancy. I recommend this place, I hope the next visit will be the same.

Great place to get a fast, inexpensive haircut. The atmosphere is great, there’s a lot of laughter, loud Spanish chatter and great music. I was very happy with my haircut.

I have been getting my hair cut by Elvy for almost 9 years(wow!). He is the ONLY one I will allow to cut my hair — I’d sooner grow it out than stray to another barber. The other barbers seem to do a great job with their clients, too. I’ve never seen anyone walk out of here who wasn’t properly hooked up. In any case, I recommend calling ahead for an appointment as this place fills up quickly, especially evenings and weekends. It should be pointed out: This is a very, very Dominican barber shop. Do not be surprised by the loud merengue, Dominican League béisbol, and general ‘cotorreando’ going on in here. It is the liveliest barbershop I have ever been to. And by lively I mean reggaeton on full blast, the barber two chairs over belting out bachata songs, and trash talking back and forth between the guys and the women in the salon in the back. Don’t come in here on a Friday evening expecting to find a quiet urban sanctuary… that was them you heard down the block! Oh and it’s open at unusually late hours — I’ve gotten my hair cut after midnight a couple of times!(Though I’m pretty sure that it *officially* closes at 10:00 or 11:00pm on the weekends, earlier on weekdays — so this cannot be guaranteed.) Don’t be intimidated if you don’t speak Spanish — everyone speaks English so just come in and enjoy Santo Domingo, Nueva York.

I loovveeee B’way! Its half barber shop half beauty parlor 100% a great experience! They do great work on hair(I’m a female) My hairstylist BELKIS is the when it comes to my weave! Lol she is one of the only dominican chick I ever let weave my hair and shes the best! If you like a quiet, relaxing setting Dont GO here but if you looking for laughs jokes music(an occasional corona) and a great hairstyle check it out. However ladies if youre shy about getting your hair done around a bunch of oogling flirty(a few are HOT too) guys then you might want to pass.
