The people are very nice and sweet. It’s basically the only dry cleaners around ever since the one on the corner of the block closed down. It’s unassuming, so you probably don’t know it’s there or passed by it without even knowing. I got numerous pants hemmed there and did dry cleaning there as well. I never had any problems. Although I do wish they took credit card (cash only) and I wish they were open on Sundays (although I don’t think most dry cleaners are for some reason).

I brought in two suits for alterations after finding this place on a list of top tailors by neighborhood. The pants were hemmed fine, but the jackets were a mess with no attention to detail. Buttons were unraveling and sewn on with no consistency — some with cross stitches and some parallel stitches. Holes spilling out white fabric backing were left in the fabric from accidental stitching. The sleeves were hemmed unevenly, and not in the original mitered corner that the sleeves came in.
In the end, two brand new suit jackets were returned in poor condition. If you’re looking to hem some cheap pants, this place does a serviceable job, but they don’t have the skill or care for anything more than that.

We entrusted Tina with fixing my son’s irreplaceable jeans, after reading just a few reviews, and talking to her about how she’d approach the job. She seemed confident, but also humble and sweet. And sure enough, she did an excellent job. I plan to bring in some even more complicated jobs, and will review her work again.
