Cold food, rude employees, rude managers, and the place is always filthy. TERRIBLECUSTOMERSERVICE!!! Do not come to this Burger King, rather, walk to East 86 Street, between Third and Second Avenue, or just go to McDonald’s.

The manager on-site last night is a lazy moron. I went there last night to get some quick snacks for my friends that were on line at a Silent Clubbing event at El Museo a few avenues away. Anyway, despite the fact that there were better dining options all over the area, I opted for Burger King which has never been a mistake until last night… Quick note, I am that customer! The nicest, friendliest, and most understanding customer on the planet. I understand people make mistakes and with a background in the telecom industry where all the customers hated us(Time Warner Cable) I always go the extra mile to make sure I smile or make someone laugh because customer service is tough especially in the fast food industry. I never scream or talk to anyone. With that said, this manager they had at Burger King last night made me explode! So I go and I order two sandwiches and two orders of ten piece chicken nuggets. The cashier was working the front as the lazy manager was gossiping with the other employees and stuffing her face with food right on the service floor which is highly unprofessional. Anyway, the young lady at the register made a mistake, and gave me only one of the chicken nugget orders. I pointed it out and she tried to fix it on her POS but she has a few customers so she asked the manager what to do and comes back charging me almost double the money. I smile and point out the mistake and I ask for the manager because I can see a line behind us. Anyway, I move to the side, and allow her to tend to the next customer when Oompa Loompa comes up practically licking her fingers from her snack with a look on her face like I was bothering her. I pointed the simple mistake and I just needed it fixed and I would pay the difference for the chicken nuggets they forgot to provide for me. She puts it in the POS and charges me the two dollar difference but adds the tax for the entire combined order which adds almost another dollar to the total. I point it out and she catches an attitude telling me she cannot give me the order for free. At this point, I am annoyed, and I respond that I am not looking for anything free from her as I literally have the singles in my hands that I was going to pay for the additional item. She again suggests she cannot give me the item for free almost accusing me of trying to scam her or something. I exploded and I put her in her place as the customers watched her make a complete moron out of herself. I proceeded to give her a rundown on proper customer service etiquette which she clearly does not have as a manager. I handed her the bag back and demanded my money back which felt like it took another five minutes. Ridiculous! Avoid this dump if possible because they obviously treat customers like garbage.

Every time I go I get good food. The service? Hit or miss. There are no more free refills at this location. Lmfao. Somethin tells me there was a lot of debauchery goin on at the soda machine. They’ve installed new ones behind the counter. Also WTF is with their prehistoric cash registers? I feel they should get rid or the computers that sit in the front entrance of the restaurant, install free wifi and call it George.
