Please note this review is for the 2194 3^rd Avenue (120^th street) location. This business is a small chain and tells you that each store is responsible for their own customer service.
I would give NEGATIVE 100 stars if I could. This store is theeee worst! I have ordered from their stores before but this location is honestly a fucking nightmare. Ordered furniture, paid in full w two payments. The woman in the store who seems to be in charge has a very nasty attitude and non-​chalantly gave us an excuse as to why we couldn’t get a delivery date upon full payment. She blamed the warehouse in New Jersey and spoke to me and my boyfriend in the MOST condescending tone. A few days later, she calls me to tell me the items finally arrived in the store and said it would be delivered around 3:45 the next day. I left work and as soon as I got on the bus she calls saying 5:30. I then get another call at 5:30 from her telling me that they are on the way. At 6:07 I got a call saying that the driver was hit from behind and they were blocks away waiting for police. 7 pm comes… nothing. 8 pm comes and there is nothing. It is currently 8:45 and still no phone call, no text message NOTHING. On top of everything, when you actually call the store, the phone is usually busy. The woman blames it on conEd «doing work on the Lexington avenue line», but as SOON as the business closes, the phone rings and rings and rings. I think they just leave the phone off the hook to prevent incoming calls. It’s super inconvenient and I may have to take another day off from work due to their lack of response and irresponsible-​ness. I will ensure no one I know EVER shops here AGAIN.

Terrible customer service. I ordered a table and chairs months ago and still have not received the chairs. They were back ordered and no one bothered to notify me! I am still waiting for the delivery but no one has communicated when. Keep in mind I bought and paid for these items in May 2013. It is July. Where’s my stuff?

Fine if you want cheap stuff, better look elsewhere if you want quality. I have bought bedsheets from here before that were OK, but some of the furniture here looks questionable. A friend of mine did get a nice bed and frame from here at a decent price, but some of their items look pretty old. If you need small items like curtains or sheets or a pair of pants this is a decent and reasonably priced option. They have a lot of household items available. If you want a leather sofa or something more fancy, you will not see a lot of selection here.
