I was in the area visiting friends and I was starving. Not too many options around that way but they recommended this place. The place is beautiful and spotless. That’s says a lot being up in that neighborhood. The counter person didn’t speak a lot of English but hey… you’re in Spanish Harlem. He knew enough to get my order right. Burger combo medium with chili cheese waffle fries and a black n white shake. Took ten minutes but so worth it. Next time I’ll call for delivery.

I always loved the veggie burger & waffle fries from Burger Inc(formerly Phat Burger, sometimes also going as Burger Shack)…But I fear they are closed! They don’t answer their phone anymore, & the place is dark. Unless they are on summer vacation?

Awesome burgers with a great selection toppings, condiments, and side orders. I genuinely enjoy having this place deliver lunch to me on occasion, specifically, when I want an awesome burger that wasn’t covered in freezer burn before it went on the grill. The burger selection is quite impressive, not overwhelming, and the toppings/condiments selection is worth mentioning twice. Definitely worth checking out for lunch if you work in the area or find yourself in our neck of the woods.

one of my favorite places to eat! The burgers are HUGE! And at around 8 bucks for a burger with a large helping of fresh fries you cant go wrong. Whats even better is that they have a pretty decent sized menu guarented to have something for everyone. The nachos were extremely yummy and they even have coupons and gift certificates through the site(you must dine in though) our first adventure here we bought a GC for 5 bucks, at 35 bucks worth of food and only paid about 22 bucks with tip. And there were three of us, and we had meals left over to bring home and munch on later that night. The delivery is fast and easy and you can order online.

I got a coupon from for this place. It is walkable from my home so I decided to give it a shot. My ordered needed to be $ 35+ so we got tons to eat. Being that this is BURGER Inc, I got a burger and it was gross. The meat was overcooked, dry, and flavorless. The only good thing I can say is that the portion was almost double-size. Personally I’d rather have a tiny burger that tastes great than a huge burger that tastes horrible. If you’re in the area, please try Joy Burger instead. The onion rings and salad were okay, the shakes were pretty good. None of that rectifies a place named BURGER Inc making bad burgers. The guy there also wasn’t very welcoming as he was probably sick of seeing coupons. FAIL!

This was the 2nd time we’ve tried Burger Inc., since the first time was a mixed bag of good and bad, mostly bad. The Hub urged me to give this joint one more try. Refusing to pay full price for this partially disappointing takeout mélange again, I bought a coupon first. I phoned there hoping to place my order and then drive over to pick it up, since they are out of my delivery area, and I wasn’t going to eat in there off the tiny little ledge they offer, whilst balancing on those high, wobbly stools. Uncomfortable! After going through the whole spiel, the crabby woman on the phone got really irked when I uttered the words«restaurant dot com» and interrupted me to gripe that they can’t take a phone order with the certificate; that I’ll have to bring the coupon in manually and place my order there; and that there is «a 18% «gratitude»(sic). I asked her, isn’t the standard 18% gratUITY usually for wait service, and since this is takeout, why an 18% gratuity? But she just ignorantly muttered«das how we do it» with no sensible explanation. At 9:00pm, with Hub’s stomach growling and no other prospects for dinner lined up, I decided to go along with this nonsense and told the brainless bimbo I’d be there in a few minutes. So I get there and the place is empty. A Saturday night at 9:20 and not a soul in the place. Despite the lack of customers, this same woman — just as nasty in person as on the phone — does not greet me or even ask me what I want. I speak up and repeat my order to her, handing her the coupon. I don’t know if it’s the Rcom crowd that bothers her, or if she’s just like that(she wasn’t Ms. Personality the first time we were there either — and we didn’t have any coupons then). We ordered a chicken gyro sandwich for me, a medium-well cheeseburger for The Hub; an order of onion rings; the«phat combo», and 2 slices of cake for dessert. She sniffed«fifteen minutes» and then disappeared. I returned 15 minutes later only to wait another 10 minutes, once again without a sound(or apology) from this grumpy woman. What takes so long to toss a burger on a grill and slap together a gyro when there is not another living soul in the place ordering anything? Once home, we evaluated our picks. The Hub seemed pleased with his burger, which was large, somewhat overcooked, and rather greasy. My gyro literally poured when I lifted it — how? — I hadn’t put any sauce on it yet. God only knows. As I drained the remainder of this mystery fluid off, I noticed how little chicken they put on the sandwich. The onion rings and the«phat combo» — consisting of 3 mozzarella sticks, 3 chicken tenders, and 3 wings(all clearly pre-frozen, restaurant-supply…ugh!) were over-fried, and they gave me hot wings even after I asked for mild. Eh… annoying, but still edible. We finished our odd little meal and then had our dessert. I ordered a slice(good sized) of chocolate cake for Hub, and cheesecake for me. Both came with a small cupful of Haagen Dazs ice cream. Hub’s cake was dark and rich, but really dry. My much, much smaller slice of cheesecake was of a thin consistency and not very sweet, or cheesy, or anything really. The ice cream was good, though! =P . So, this place isn’t completely bad, save for that uncultured grouch behind the counter. It’s just basic, average, non-memorable burger joint food, served without a smile.

I had a pretty bad taste in my mouth after I left Burger Inc… actually it was pretty bad the whole time I was there… I had a coupon from , for $ 10 off when you spend $ 20, which is why we tracked here in the first place. First off, right when we walked in no one greeted us, said hello, or even ‘can i take your order?’. We walked up to the register, the guy did not give us any menu to look at or speak one single word. We found a menu on the counter and looked it over together. With not many vegetarian options we both ordered the Veggie Burger combo, which came with the burger, a side, and a drink. I opted for the onion rings and my bf ordered the waffle fries. We waited for about 10 minutes and then they brought our food out. The veggie burger was served on slices of bread, not a bun, which was very bizarre. The bread was soggy and the burger was gross. It tasted like they mashed up edamame and then fried it together. I couldn’t even finish it(even though i soaked it in ketchup). The onion rings and waffle fries were decent, and the portions were large. Seeing that the sides weren’t that bad, but the service and veggie burgers were nasty, I can’t give this place anymore than 2 stars. I wanted to give it one, but since the sides were decent I decided to give it 2. I don’t know about you, but I will not be going back or recommending this place to any friend of mine.

Came here with 2 friends, one of whom had a gift certificate, so we had a field day ordering copious amounts of food. We ordered the nachos, buffalo wings, burgers and philly cheese steak. The proportions are huge! I was already getting full on the nachos and wings appetizers that I couldn’t even finish half of my philly cheese steak sandwich. The burgers are humongous, the kind too big to fit in your mouth(haha). The food is pretty good and the service is quick and they aim to please. The establishment itself is small, but clean. The prices are fair. Would definitely check this place out again.

This place is pretty good and much better than I thought it would be. The combos are a really good deal, so you definitely get your money’s worth. PROS 1. Fast delivery 2. Good price on the combos 3. Fairly decent veggie burger 4. large portions CONS 1. The smoothie is basically all sugar. It tastes great and sickening at the same time, but if you aren’t into the frozen corn syrup flavor then you may want to skip it. 2. I got the mashed potatoes, and they were pretty bad. I couldn’t tell if they were instand or just sitting around for a really long time. 3. They require $ 15 for delivery, so there is no way you can order for just one person. I had to order a salad, and I had way too much food.

–4 stars for service. Placed an order online with the promo code on their site for 10% off, but the delivery person arrived early and continually harassed me, calling my phone 2 hours before the order had been scheduled for delivery. They did apologize and came back at the correct time, in their defense, and I hesitantly tipped the driver(only because it likely wasn’t his error) and ate reluctantly hoping my food wasn’t TOO tainted and hadn’t been the same order sitting there for hours. Also, for whatever reason, their policy is not to have delivery people call the patrons, but to have them call the store itself and have someone there nastily reprimand customers for not waiting outside in the rain for their food that may come at any time. Playoff football starts at 3; there’s a reason I requested delivery @ 2:30 and not 2:55. +1 star for food: affordable, despite the very common and bland choices, but they do what they offer pretty well. 0 for the veggie burger on soggy bread and 1 star for the pancake banana split

Great little Burger spot, open kitchen, fresh food and they prepare it right in front of your face. What more can you ask for? I recommend a cheese burger and one of their delicious fruit smoothies…

when i moved to the city, my first place was in east harlem, and the only place that i got food delivered from was burger inc. their menu has everything you would want from a burger joint — burgers, fries, shakes, fried chicken, salads, and sandwiches. the only problem is that their burgers aren’t the best. the rest of the menu is much better, with the salads being their strength. their portions are quite large, and it’s quite a bargain for the city, but not for the area. the delivery is fast and reliable. $ 15 minimum to use a card.

I have been ordering from Burger Inc. since I first moved into the area. They serve up some very large portioned freshly made to order salads that I love a lot. That’s mainly what I order from there. Although I have tried their burgers, I am not a fan of them, the meat is too thick for me and it’s just not that good in my opinion. But the salads, well, I’ve tried all of them, with their Santa Fe Chicken salad being my favorite. It’s quite good as is their Chinese Chicken Salad and Southern Fried Chicken salad. oh there’s more too you have to try them all. They do free delivery and they arrive very fast. You can order online via their website or through seamlessweb. Their prices could really be lower though, I mean for this area, they are pretty expensive for your average takeout delivery spot in El Barrio, but I still quite enjoy their salads and will continue to order from them. Oh and they do serve up some very good tasting chili as well.
