Nestled on the Lower East Side, this quaint café is a perfect place to spend some free time, or if you’re like me the whole afternoon, studying. The coffee is phenomenal, and they offer almond milk! In my past life, I was a Starbucks addict, but once you truly taste quality you just can’t go back. The staff is sweet and the particular gentleman working one day went out of his way to make their avocado toast for me, a favorite of mine, which he didn’t have the ingredients prepared for. He made the dish from scratch for me. I can’t tell you how much I appreciated it. Great place, cool vibe, and free wifi!

Brunswick Café is a beautifully minimalist nook on Clinton with just enough tables to feel comfortable propping up a MacBook alongside a an array of caffeinated beverages. Being it’s run by a group of Aussies, the Flat White is the way to go. They also have pastry selections, free wifi, and a little bench out front if you’d like to observe passersby of all colors and sizes.
