Went here a few months back with my girlfriend. I guess what we witnessed was what I expected. We’re in our mid-​twenties, sadly we felt like the youngest people there. Seemed that they had paid people to be there and perform «planned» sexual acts out in the open. The other people we saw doing sexual acts out in the open, were the type of people you would have no interest in seeing do anything, if you know what I mean. Sadly it was a bust in our opinion. It wasn’t worth the price of admission and we have no intention

Full of single guys with creep stares. Place is dirty and NOT like the photos on the site. Felt more like a crack house than a club. Stayed long enough to do a quick walk through before the ladies I was with felt uncomfortable and unsafe. These other reviews must be fakes, or employees, no other explanation.

I decided to spice things up with my lady. On a Saturday couples night. Upon entering we were greeted by one of the guards who was very friendly and made us feel comfortable.
At first we were nervous since it was our first time then we proceeded to the 3^rd fl which had a bunch of beds. Next to us there was a couple getting it on. We enjoyed the view and atmosphere as other people joined in a lot pussy girl on girl pussy eating went on.
Then we noticed a pregnant girl in there that got us disgusted and we went to the 2^nd floor which has couches and 2 private rooms. We watch a couple of couples getting it on and then we got it on too on the couch and then continued to the private room.
It was hard for me to get an erection because nothing really sets the mood in this place.
First of all I want to point out this place has potential.

Overall it was a very respectful crowd if they could just slightly upgrade some things this is a great spot. They also need to network more and have more couples. Honestly the way this place is run first time people would not want to go back. Since nothing really sets the mood u don’t even feel like drinking this place kind of makes u sleepy.
Best advice bring a partner and have a couple of shots before anything to loosen up.

After reading a lot of positive reviews, my wife and I decided to check out Bowery Bliss one rainy afternoon. I wouldn’t call us «lifestylers» but we most certainly enjoy watching.
The Thursday parties are hosted by a young lady named Jonsie. Upon arrival and check-​in we decided to explore the locale. It is spread over three floors in what feels like a apartment house. The first floor is the check-in/lockers/“classroom”. Since there was an «introduction to swinging» class going on when we arrived the first floor was mostly off limits. Up to the second floor we went.
Immediately upon entering the second floor is the hostess area where complimentary refreshments (pineapple juice, cranberry juice, soda) as well as cups, napkins and a few snacks await. Also on this level you will find two comfortable leather sofas, a bondage board and two private rooms. The private rooms are small but comfortable with a locking door if you need privacy.
A walk up to the third floors reveals a small/​intimate lounge enclosed in red curtains. Past the lounge, in the rear, is a open space with beds arranged against the wall. They call this the «Group Play Area» and it is where most of the action happens.
As I stated before: my wife and I arrived on a rainy Thursday evening around 8:00PM. Upon arrival we were the only couple there. By accident we ran into Jonsie (the host), enjoying her lunch. She was friendly and welcoming and is the reason we were able to relax and enjoy the environment. She is the host of the Thursday night events and we will DEFINITELY go back on a Thursday night because of her.
By 10:00PM the club was in full swing (no pun intended) and there were lots of couples showing up and interacting. We were supposed to have left at 11PM because we both had work the next day but we were having so much fun that we ended up leaving at 1:00AM.
Had a great time and would definitely recommend.

It’s me again. I went back and had an even better experience than the first time, but after reading some of the very negative reviews and talking with more experienced swingers about different clubs, I’m realizing that this place can’t currently be called «Five Star.» There’s definitely room for improvement. But it’s definitely not terrible (and for sure, there are worse places, so save those One Star reviews for them!).
I stand by what I said in my earlier review regarding the staff: They’re really nice. The bartender (MJ) is extremely sweet, kind, and enthusiastic, not to mention helpful (she gives newbies a tour of the place and is very good at making people feel at ease). My only complaint would be that the sheets, which are changed sporadically, could be changed a bit more often (or they could be left out in the open for people to change as they saw fit). My partner and I were there so long that we ended up putting fresh sheets on one of the beds at around 3am. No big deal. We left around 4:30! I forget his name, but the man who cleans up and changes sheets could have been a bit more proactive, picking up condom wrappers, for example, when he did make it up to the top floor.
As for the customers: I’d strongly recommend you only go on a couples-​only night. The vibe when unaccompanied men are there is said to be quite skeevy, with odd dudes watching people go at it. Doesn’t sound appealing at all, and our more experienced friends agreed. We went on couples-​only Saturdays, and this time was much busier than last time, and the people happened to be much more into swapping, joining in, and so on. I’d say that most people were in their 30s-​40s, a few younger and a few older. The vibe was pretty fantastic, with spontaneous threesomes and foursomes, and there were also couples keeping to themselves. Everyone was quite respectful of common etiquette rules.
As for the bar and disco: Most people don’t hang out at the bar and disco! The bar is adequate (plus that super friendly bartender is there!), and soft drinks and provisions are free and plentiful (I had some crudité as well as some little muffins).
I’ll definitely be happy to try out (and report back from) Le Trapeze and maybe some other clubs, but my partner and I had an amazing time this time out, and the more experienced couple we hung out with agreed that the place was more than adequate. I think their only disappointment was that there weren’t even more couples there. I think there were probably 20 – 25 couples on the night, but they were expecting even more.
It’s a sex club, people. It’s not about how wonderful the ambiance is. The music was good (except when Cotton Eye Joe came on the sound system for a minute!), the people were friendly, and there was a lot of sexy stuff going on. If you arrive with the right attitude, you’ll have a great time.

Had a blast! The place was very spacious, great friendly staff, clean, comfortable and not a lot of attitude. Went on a Sat before Halloween, so it was couples & ladies only & most people came in costumes. There was a great mix of attractive people from their 20’s to 40’s, chatting & socializing. It was nice to dance in the lounge by the fire and if the mood strikes to venture to the areas upstairs. We have been to other similar clubs in NYC and other cities and we will be back to this one!
This is my first Unilocal review and I only read the other negative reviews on this place AFTER visiting. I am writing because I did not feel the place was accurately reviewed. As with all of these sort of clubs, it is the luck of the draw on any night you may attend, and simply paying an entry fee does not guarantee a «score». However, I did not see any aggressive or disrespectful behaviour. Chatted with a single lady who likes to come here, and she seemed perfectly happy with the place. It takes a while for the crowd to get going, so plan on making this a very late night.

The workers are terrific— Alexis, Joanna, Dina, the men :)… The place is clean and nice.

If you have zero standards and very low expectations … This is your place…

Hmm where do I start… first off, I want to say that this place has potential. I went, for the first time last Friday (⁵⁄₃). I went with my boyfriend and paid the couples charge of $ 100. It is a 4 level venue, the 1^st being the entrance, the second floor being the locker room area, check in desk, dance area and the bar. Once in, we discovered that we were early, we got there at midnight. There might have been about 5 couples there, all seeming to be older (about in their 50s or older), definitely not a turn on. The bar does not serve liquor, but you can byob and if you do the bottle must be turned into to the bar. The bar does have mixers (soda and juices). The music was horrible, they played iPod techno music. Perhaps a mix cd or upgraded pandora channel would help. Next we decided to go upstairs (3^rd level) also known as the play area. This area included a pole with a stripper and 3 curtained areas for all to play and/​or observe. The stripper was tired looking. The play area was slightly interesting to say the least. The 4^th level is designated as a play area for couples and single ladies only. There were no single ladies so as a result it was couples having sex, no interactive play. Basically. They paid to have sex in this venue with each other only, what a waste. Overall, I would go back when they are more established and have a better looking crowd. Hopefully since the summer is coming around, this may help them some.
