I’ve been to other locations in the city and was happy to see there’s one not too far from where I live/work. I went here on a weekday mid-afternoon and was pleasantly surprised to see it wasn’t crowded(like most places are at 3pm). The place wasn’t obvious to find — after going into the building main entrance(large«805 atrium» sign), head left down the escalators and you’ll see it immediately to your right. I liked the cold brew coffee and my friend had the matcha latte which she also liked a lot. The cashier was very friendly and service was quick. They have a big selection of pastries and avocado toast that looked really good as well. Overall: pricy but good quality and friendly service. Small place with no seating unfortunately, but would recommend for to-go coffee/food.

Tried the banana loaf. WOW. And I had my second best soy chai latte in the city(after World Cup’s :)! I LoVE how they dont shake it up and there is about an inch of dark chai elixir on the bottom. You can customize it to however chai/milk ratio you want to drink it(that is– if you don’t sip from the bottom of the cup). Delicious and totally beats starbucks, argo tea, cosi’s chai lattes. I will be a repeat customer.

My first experience at Bluestone Lane coffee was at the Upper East Side location. Loved this little Australian coffee shop so much and was thrilled to find out there were locations throughout the city! This Midtown location is conveniently located right next to my work. They have the best flat white in manhattan.(The cashiers and baristas have Australian accents too!) The avocado toast is always fresh and delicious. This is certainly my go-to coffee shop during my work week.

Came here around 1pm on a weekday and was greeted by warm friendly service. Ordered an avocado toast with poached egg and a flat white to come towards the end the meal. The avocado toast was delicious. Finished every last bite and i really liked the bread used. The egg was poached nicely as my yolk was creamy and runny. Good job! The flat white was ultra rich and creamy and i would get it again. The mug was really nice and i appreciated the latte art. This place probably specializes in flat whites so get it! Coffee was strong but not bitter. It woke me up after a few sips This place is pricey but cmon madison ave near all the museums. This is expected. Paid 21 $ for avocado toast and the flat white. Minus 1 star for having the bathroom outside of the actual location

I came to Bluestone a couple times for coffee because there was a huge line at Starbucks. The location is kinda hidden but thanks to Unilocal I found it. When i came in i noticed that the size small but the line was moving quickly. It is a simple coffee shop that does the job. The only negative about the place is the price. I think they are a little overpriced, even for mid-town. I would rate Bluestone as follows: Quality is 3.5 Stars, Line wait is 4 Stars and Price is 3 Stars. The views expressed are of my own and are my true personal experience at this establishment. My personal experience may not reflect this actual establishment, their quality or someone else’s experience at the establishment.

So this is a little off the beaten path, you have to know what you’re looking for, but when you find it you’re in coffee heaven. You have to go inside the office building at 8053rd avenue and down the escalator. Their flat white was amazing and easily the best I’ve ever had. Baristas were very nice and we got our order quickly. Would definitely recommend.

While Unilocaling our way through each New York meal, husband found Bluestone Lane coffee shop. It seems to be rated high by Aussies and NZers as the most authentic flat whites around. But how do you find this little coffee shop, tucked away in the corner of a corporate building basement atrium? Navigate yourself to 8053rd Ave. Enter at the public entrance on 3rd, and take the escalator down stairs. Bluestone is on your right. Or take the elevator down to the Atrium and roll around to the front of the building by the escalator. Wait just a few minutes and soon you’ll enjoy one of the finest cups of coffee, complete with milk foam hearts if you’re lucky. This building has a great sitting area in the Atrium where you can listen to a calming water feature or hear seasonal music. There is also a bathroom but you have to ask for a key. It’s a great, quiet spot giving you respite in a bustling city. We had our two year old with us and even though he was running around, there just weren’t a lot of people. It is a perfect morning spot.

Located inside a commercial building. I’ve been to their downtown location and I’m glad that they opened this coffee shop which is closer to my workplace. I’ve been looking for places that makes hot chocolate without dairy. Here, I can get a hot chocolate made with almond milk. The hot chocolate is creamy and slightly sweet. There’s a choice of 3 sizes: small, medium, large. I seem to have an inability to put the plastic lid over the paper cup, it wouldn’t fit into it. So I have to drink the hot chocolate before I go out, otherwise I would spill it everywhere if I go around with a cup uncovered. They also have gluten baked goods such as biscotti, brownie, loaf cake, avocado toast. However, there are no seatings, it’s only for take out. Hot chocolate — Is made with house made chocolate sauce, mixed with textured milk and topped with cocoa dusting(almond milk) Size: small, medium, large Taste: sweet Temperature: warm, very drinkable Texture: creamy

Went with an Aussie friend to fully embrace the Australian heritage — one gotta try a Flat white and the famous vegemite! Medium flat white with almond milk: WOOOOAHHHHHH best coffee I’ve ever had. Smooth, creamy, strong enough, the list goes on. Avo smash with vegemite: very good but nothing spectacular. Vegemite is SALTYAF haha but it added a nice touch to the very lemony avocado spread. Downsides: — There is nowhere to sit and you have to take your food to go to find another place to eat. — Very pricey, paid $ 15 for two items, which felt more like a snack than a meal at the restaurant.

I was on a mission to find this small, storefront style coffee shop. My husband was not as devoted and complained the whole time. In his defense, it was very hard to find and if I were not perpetually in search of the perfect cup of coffee, I too would have given up. The walk-up store is adorable– kitschy signs, chalkboards, and other garage sale finds clutter the walls. The staff(who all seemed to be Australian) were very helpful. Good: lots of gluten-free snacks. The cinnamon sugar cake-style donut was a hearty snack. The American drip coffee was a little sweet-tasting for my liking. However, the flat while with almond milk was decadent, smooth, creamy, and comforting on a windy autumn day. Now that I know the location, down the western-most escalator in the atrium, I’ll be sure to stop in when I’m in the area.

Sweet Christ above — their new cookies are insanely delicious. Perfectly baked, not overdone, millions of chocolate chips. Still the best coffee I can find.

Best coffee in NYC. Flat white. Solid. Aussie Iced. Latte with vanilla ice cream. Unless you’re 100% lactose intolerant or just hate ice cream, do yourself a favor and get it. Even if you are lactose intolerant, just get it. If you hate ice cream, then you’re just missing out on life.

Bluestone Lane Coffee took a while for my friend and I to find because it was hidden inside a building. The place is decorated really nicely, like the coffee shops I am used to in San Francisco. The place is small, but it is made for people to grab and go. On another note, they served Sightglass coffee which is from SANFRANCISCO! Anyways, the cashier was very friendly and I think he is from Australia? Everyone working there seemed to be Australian so maybe it is Australian owned. He also told me that they switch up the coffee they use every so often. I ordered a normal cup of coffee and my friend ordered a cold brew. We both really enjoyed our drinks and it kept us alert throughout our entire day of exploring NYC. Great place! I would recommend it! Stop by if you’re in the area… And can find it!

This coffee shop is literally a small little box. However, a small little box comes with a big surprises. After my office temporary relocated more closer to Bluestone, I have been getting my morning dose of caffeine here. As always, I go with the cappuccino. Large, yes, please. Taste is pretty good but I would say the espresso is weaker in taste compared to others I have tried. Much more steam and foam milk compared to others I had. Latte art is also weak. It was too quick to turn into airy bubbles and dissolves. It is different but not bad of a change for me. 3.5 Stars to be exact. The coffee competition is fierce around this area.

TINY shop hidden in the lowest floor of an office building(alongside other adorable bistros and bakeries with adequate food-court seating and live piano music). It’s well worth the search! Excellent flat whites and iced mochas. Everything they serve looks, sounds and smells incredible.

The Australians have taken over the NY coffee scene!!! And their secret weapon is the«Flat White». According to research this is a double shot espresso and the milk is heated to a point that when it’s poured into the coffee it will not bubble. There is also less milk than a latte. And all this equals to caffeine ecstasy! This shop is HIDDEN!!! You have to go into the 805 building and take the escalator down where you will be greeted by a very long line of caffeine addicts. There is also one more thing people are addicted to… it’s the avocado smash sprinkled with chili flakes and lemon. And there’s an option of adding feta or tomato or both. It is also served on the best whole grain toast. I could start my morning this way for the rest of life but I am fully aware of the avocado epidemic. And that is why I am nurturing a 40 plus year old avocado tree in my Manhattan storage unit of an apartment to flourish and give me some avocado babies. Give me avocados or give me death! The only down sides is that there is nowhere to sit and that you wait in line to order and then in another line to get your stuff. Buy hey it’s popular and it’s Manhattan. Trust me it’s worth the wait.

This small place was really cute! Though essentially you have to step outside of the store to wait for your coffee. What was most remarkable about here is that they designed their own postcards! Only have tried latte, smooth. But do recommend their cookies, looked so fresh and soft.
