Ordered on Seamless and was confirmed and told the order would arrive in 30 mins. After 30 mins had passed, someone called from the restaurant and said «your order is being cancelled» and hung up. WTF? NEVER ordering from here again.

This place would get more stars if it wasn’t for their HORRIBLE service. I’ve had delivery from them multiple times and they always take a ridiculous amount of time no matter the time of day. My order on a random Tuesday at midnight did not arrive until after 2am and now I’m currently waiting over an hour and a half for my lunch. Safe to say this is the last time I will be ordering delivery from them.

Nothing special here. Pretty standard burgers and crispy fries. Not too expensive, not super cheap. If you are in the area and just want a fast burger, go to blue 9.

Ordered at 7:25 and received a text and email with estimated delivery of 8:05 — 8:15pm. Granted it is an estimate, but I figured i’d have my food by at least 8:30pm. Food arrived cold at 8:47pm. I ordered at work because I couldn’t leave, not only did the delivery guy arrive much later than i expected, but he had the nerve to call me and ask me to go downstairs. Um no. Anyway all of that aside the food was decent. I got a veggie burger with fries. Given my location the delivery should have been faster but otherwise no complaints. I must say though, I was so hungry by the time it got to me that I barely chewed. Anything might have tasted good.

Not a bad spot to just grab something quick and eat. Tastes fresher than McDonald’s or those fast food chain restaurants and better too in my opinion. I came here with a friend after the movies and I couldn’t complain. We ordered two blue nine burgers which came with fries and a soda. The burger was awesome, very juicy, while the fries seemed extremely fresh too. A really good affordable and casual burger place if you happen to be in the area. I wouldn’t mind coming back here to try something new, their selections of burgers and shakes are awesome!

No absolutely not me EVER AGAIN !! Ordered at 12:13pm for lunch at 1pm, order was promised by 1:05pm through seamless.
1:15pm — I call, the guy says sorry we got a little busy with other orders it will be there in 15 mins.
1:35pm I call again — sorry we are having difficulty with our delivery guys (they blame their cheap failures on the delivery guys).
1:45pm — I call to cancel. 1:47pm my burger shows up. Me being extremely hungry and crunched for time, open up my delicious looking burger and starting forking through it as it was a lettuce wrap burger. Then I find a hair in my burger. I threw up immediately.
I call this guy to tell him about the hair, he said I am making an excuse not to pay. Well there you go — it’s in the garbage and you can keep the $ 14 paid too — you’re gonna need it if you keep this sh*t up.

I actually really like their burger, tasty, in-n-out-esque… my only problem is the delivery service. Ordered food at 1230pm and I called at 2pm when it hadn’t come only to be told there was a really big order before me and so my order was JUST THEN being made. Didn’t get my food till just before 3pm.
Get pickup, don’t deliver, unless you have time to waaaaaait.

Horrible food– Horrible service– Horrible experience.
If you can’t even make a simple cheeseburger taste good, maybe it’s time to close up the store and downgrade to something easier like cleaning toilets or collecting recyclables. You guys don’t care about your customers– I had a cheeseburger that tasted dry and overcooked… I mean are your chefs/cooks even licensed? Quuuuuestionable.

Weak. The burger was supposed to have tomato and I paid extra for friend onions, which are both missing. The only thing on the burger was shredded lettuce and dressing, and the meat was not very appealing.
Additionally, they didn’t start to prepare the order I placed on
until I arrived. I cant believing I’m saying this, but I should have gone to McDonalds.

This is one of my favorite «fast food» burger spots. Really short menu, going for an in-and-out style burger. It’s tasty and cheap. And they sell fresh squeezed juice and smoothies so you have good and evil all in one place!

Tasteless overcooked thin meat patties! Most burgers only come with thousand island sauce and lettuce… what happen to the tomato!!! There aren’t a lot of topping options either. For the price you pay? You can get a shake shack burger.
The only thing good about this place is that they open late.

Sad to say that Blue 9 has gone downhill. The fries taste bland and frozen. The burger quality has also slipped. Never a décor stunner, the condition of the tables and counters leaves a lot to be desired.
I used to think that Blue 9 had similar burgers to In & Out Burger. That is a memory. A shame really, because their prices are decent, and food quality used to be good. Oh well.

This is the kind of place you stumble in to when you have lost your sobriety in neighboring establishments, not when you are in your right mind. McDonalds makes a better hamburger. I did appreciate the freshness of the veggies and the special sauce on my «Blue 9» burger, but there is nothing so unique about their burgers that you should flock to this place. It’s all frozen-to-fried. Don’t believe the «hand cut» hooey description of their fries. There are a few dozen choices in the East Village for burgers – this one should not be at the top of your list.

I was afraid to come into this place after reading the poor reviews but I think most of the issues lay with their delivery. My husband and I came to catch a quick bite before a show at Webster hall. I believe I got the blue 9 burger which was delicious. Their special sauce was so good. Their fries are nothing special which was disappointing and service was slow even though the place was empty.

I honestly would never come here sober. The burger patty was ridiculously thin, bland, and tasted like it came from the frozen foods section of a supermarket. Perhaps the most disappointing thing was that one could NOT order a burger (single patty) with cheese. If you order cheese on your burger, the price for a combo automatically shoots up several dollars and you must have 2 burger patties in the burger instead of just 1. This policy makes absolutely no sense.
Do they just want us all to be obese?! Or rip us off for just wanting cheese?

Very delicious burger. Quite tasty. Its pretty greasy but thats probably what makes it taste so good. I find myself coming back to this place on a regular basis. I really like the special sauce too. The fries are so so but still okay. I wish they were a little more crispier. For some reason, they changed the french fries not too long ago. I liked the old ones better.
And make sure you go «Blue 9» Burger!!! its the double burger version.
Watch out in the summer time. I’m not sure if their AC is broken or not installed but it gets a little warm in there if you’re dining in.
Delivery is a bit unrealiable so watch out for that.

I usually do pizza when I go to Bar None but after skipping lunch my stomach was screaming for something more substantial to hold up against the generous pours. Friend and I stood outside and debated Blue 9 vs 99 Miles to Philly. Friend is from Philly and gets the real deal regularly, so we went with Blue 9. Bad move.
The service was ok. It took the register guy a while to get our order right but we made him read it back to us twice before we paid. For 1 Blue 9 burger Combo, Two reg. burgers, 1 cheeseburger, 1 fries, 1 sweet tots = $ 27. Not bad but I could have walked next door and grabbed two whole pizzas to feed the bar.
The food was… less than ok. Burgers were dried out hockey pucks on burnt bread with no condiments. Fries were soggy. Sweet tots were passable but why so small? This baby-sized tot makes me look like I have man-hands and you only gave me a handful’s worth. We were all still hungry when we finished.
I tried something different. I won’t try again.
