Wow. Why did I not read the reviews before I walked in. I suppose I was in a rush. They close at 9 on weekdays, so naturally I was hesitant to get a mani pedi at 830. I ended up downgrading to a French Mani and 10 min massage. They still took me and yes I got Hanna, who I see here isn’t careful. She wasn’t terrible but she wasn’t the most detail oriented and she to correct herself a bunch. Also she shooed me out before nails were dry because they were«closed” — see in this case, they shouldn’t have accepted me because of course moments later I chipped one of them! Grr. The only reason why this place gets 3 stars is because its clean and spacious. And because the guy who did my massage exerted awesome pressure. Though he kept it to one side primarily. I was so lazy to say anything. Major down points for the prices– it was $ 40 for a 10 min massage and a French Mani(that chipped right after). Not coming back.

Tonight, I had my cuticles painted. Needless to say, I will not be going back. I had to ask the woman several times to remove all of the polish off of my cuticles and the tips of my fingers. I also saw another manicurist giving a hand massage to a woman without removing the client’s jewelry from her hands. A good nail place will provide a small jewelry holder and not slather lotion all over your jewelry. They just don’t pay attention to detail here considering how pricey it is.

People here are very nice and friendly, but, try to take your own nail polish. Found a lot of polishes do be old! and don’t go for hanna, she painted my nails along with my cuticles and put so much paint on it that my nails haven’t dried yet(its been 4 hrs) AND they have bubbles! It’s hard to rate a nail salon as you can get really great people who can paint well and others who can’t. So be careful when you go here.

So its around the corner from me, so I’ll probably continue to go there from time to time. But honestly — not impressed. You can do better for the price, though Nancy the owner gets so excited when a client walks in, the hilarity of your interaction with her could be worth the price alone.
