Benefit

My sister introduced me to Benefit, a cosmetics boutique on the main street in Los Gatos, CA, when I visited her in May 2006. I was happy to finally find a cosmetics line I like. However, when I returned to NYC, I missed the cute boutique and the amiable and knowledgeable Benefit trained beauty consultants.
Thanks to Bloomies, I no longer have to travel to California for that great service and cute boutique feel.
On the main floor near the Men’s department, Benefit has its makeup counter. Benefit has a wonderful tongue-​in-​cheek attitude about its products as demonstrated by its product names such as Some Kind-​A Gorgeous foundation, which goes on light and blends in smoothly, BADgal lash mascara, and Maybe Baby body lotion, which leaves my skins feeling moisturized, to name a few.
The counter staff is charming and helpful. The Benefit gal listened to what I was looking for and showed me products that worked best for me. I never felt like she was pushing me to buy a product.
Also Benefit counter offers a waxing service. I got my brows done. Truthfully, my brows haven’t looked this good since Thanksgiving 2006, when I got them done at the Los Gatos Benefit boutique. The price for this service is on par with other big name spas that offer brow waxing. Ankit, the guy who waxed my brows, was kind and good at this. I never once felt he was rushing to take care of the next customer.
A big plus about going to Benefit at Bloomies’ for a brow wax is that once you’re done, you can go upstairs and go shoe shopping without leaving the store.
