Not sure why this doesn’t have more stars. Found this place while waiting for observatory at the trade center open. I had a made to order omelet. It was tasty and i was able to eat inside. Decent price and hot coffee too.

Solid food, but a bit too pricey for what you get. 16oz soup is $ 6+ with tax, juice is overpriced for what you get. Only thing worthwhile is a salad, but I’ve got bigger salads for $ 12 at other places nearby. I’d give it 3 stars but every time I have been in, the staff is extremely rude and cold. I am a person who tries to be as courteous and friendly as possible after working in similar jobs growing up, so whenever someone rolls their eyes at me when I say«thank you» or would rather text instead of finish my transaction doesn’t deserve my money or time. I’d rather go somewhere else to buy an expensive salad.

Disgusting! The order was wrong, the phone line is perpetually busy so you can’t fix the order and the food is terrible. Do NOT order from here.

If you want to start your day off with miserable attitudes, get eggs from the line guys. Also if you want cold food, and like your orders wrong half the time, that’s your place to go. Only gets two stars cause of the register girl, she’s always happy. Manager could care less.

They advertise $ 2 small soup with purchase of quinoa bowl. Nope! $ 3 for«premium» soups. For a high quality establishment, I didn’t think I would experience ghetto, bottom-feeding deceptive advertising. Also, WTF are they heating up kale and tomatoes? My entire bowl is warm mush. On top of deceptive ads they don’t know how to prepare food. Enjoy your extra dollar, because it’s the last time I’m coming here.

good salads, but the cashiers are RUDE, with attitude for days. they’re standing by their registers, i walk up to pay for my salad and i’m greeted with a shake of the head(no speaking). i move to the next and greeted with the same, the third cashier does actually speak and takes my money but ugh… no way to treat a paying customer. i can’t wait to find a better place in the hood that actually appreciates its customers!

Great breakfast! Fresh fast delicious! Very close to the 9⁄11 museum. Lovely omelettes and oatmeal bar with varieties of toppings like huge fresh blueberries or strawberries. They aren’t skimpy on the toppings either. The place is clean and bright.

I order the city cobb salad. It’s pretty good, the portions are large enough. I feel full off of a salad, which is nice. I did, however, find a block of ice in my salad. Fortunately, it wasn’t an insect like others here have stated. I guess I was lucky!

Like your custom salads made to order? Then take your pick – they have crankiness, angry-ness, filthiness, and can’t-be-bothered-ness, freshly brewing and ready to go. When you do the volume they do, profiting off the workaholics at Goldman, there’s no excuse for the seething attitude and filthy facilities.

Terrible… Is the one word I would use to describe this place. This location offers many salad and healthy lunch options but is overpriced, it has lack of flavor, and the location is very dirty. I got the Wei chicken salad as I figured you can not go wrong with one of their specialty salads and I was sadly mistaken. The only way I see this place staying open is because the Goldman employees are to busy or lazy to go to chop’t in brookfield place which is cheaper, cleaner, and better options

This place gets a star for having Pellegrino water, that’s about it. Paying more than $ 10 to watch an assembly line of workers chop your salad to mush is not appetizing. I ordered the Caesar salad and after I watched everything get chopped up ferociously I had regrets. If you want a real salad go to Dirty Bird and get the Grains and Greens salad. If not, then I urge you to enjoy this rabbit food that they’re chopping up at Beans and Greens.

Disgusting. Just posted a photo of a dead fly in my salad. Called and was told that there was no one there to help me. Didn’t even ask for my name and number to share with managers. Please do not go!

I work nearby so a coworker and I ordered from Seamless for lunch takeout. It’s not affordable enough to get it every day, but today is cold so we didn’t want to go far. Even though it isn’t cheap, the portions are great. She ordered the Jumbo Shrimp Salad and I had the Soy Ginger Seitan Quinoa bowl. She said the salad and the shrimp in it are delicious. Nice flavor and some heat. I like the soy and ginger flavors in mine. I chose not to add any meat, and I’m glad because there really was no need with the portion size and the protein I’m getting from the seitan and the quinoa. I will definitely pick up lunch from here again, whether for a salad, quinoa bowl or rice bowl. When I walked in I saw the vegan sandwiches and vegan sushi rolls and those look good as well.

Great selection of toppings if you are into salads. But be ready to fork over $ 13 for a salad. Who’s to complain anyway when you work in this area. They have a great selection of soup daily but prices are a bit steep. 5 bucks for a small cup of soup. Cons: the choppers who prepare your salad may be a bit unsanitary at times. You can spot the messy ones and the dirty ones fairly easy. Dirty aprons should be washed or changed daily and kept inches away from the veggies when you are chopping on the counter. These simple rules are not being followed. Once a customer came back to return their salad as I was paying. Customer complained that his salad had extra toppings of a hair in it. No just one strand but many! I heard that and wanted to return my salad but at that point I already paid and had no reason to return it unless I found something in mine. But was nonetheless, unpleasant to hear. Have not came across that scenario but overall its decent with their generous offering to allow you to sample their choice of soups.

I was craving a smoothie and it does the trick but I prefer Jamba instead for more choices and boosters.

I went to Beans & Greens with my partner because we were starving, and overall, this place has some amateur salads but some okay pre-made sandwiches. I wanted a salad, so I decided to eat here. The Cobb salad was not outrageously priced, but I did feel that this style of making salads and chopping it in front of you is a rip off of the Chop’t chain of salads in DC. The person making my salad here kept forgetting ingredients, and barely chopped it. The food was fine, but the turkey bacon and the chicken clearly was prepackaged. They had a soup stand with some okay chili. They also serve a lot of different juice concoctions. They’re kind of expensive for juice, but I would be interested in trying one later in the future. Their premade chicken and chipotle sandwich was tasty. It was the only item that was memorable. Overall, for some thing healthy and quick, Beans & Greens is in a horrible choice. But it’s not like you’re going to get amazing food. They have vegan sushi, if you are into that.

My go-to breakfast place in lower Manhattan. I always get the breakfast wrap with egg whites, turkey bacon, peppers, and tomato, and it’s the perfect start to my day. Also have tried the acai bowl, which was a little too liquid for my taste, but it was still pretty good. For lunch I’d recommend the salads — the City Cobb is great with light peppercorn ranch dressing. Next I’m planning to try to the quinoa bowls.

When the most compelling draw of an establishment is being the only remotely healthy lunch option within a four block radius, it’s not exactly a great start. But such is the burden to bear when working in FiDi. That said, the chopped salads are good, but nothing spectacular. The stir fry station is a little more interesting, if only marginally so. The real problem is that the laws of economics dictate the when supply is low, prices go up. And Beans & Greens is certainly on the expensive side. That said, the fact that it exists at all is a blessing. It’s just that when you typically have access to the plentiful bounty of Manhattan proper, it’s hard to be satisfied with just one above-average salad place. But at least it saves me from going to Shake Shack every day.

I got the signature cobb salad and it was flavorful but I think this place is a bit overpriced. Nothing outrageous to report. If you want a healthier option than Shake Shack, go here.
