I like the café, it’s a great place to spend my break time in but honestly they need to be more clear. When I order my coffee and you offer me something, TELL me that I will be charged for it. Don’t just ask if I want an extra shot of coffee without telling me I’ll be paying a buck for it

whenever I take the PATH train into the city and I need a coffee, I head straight here. I always make sure to take my laptop because there’s free wifi. I almost always get a mocha frappucino and a cookie, because I am just full of sweetness and all(as I’m sure more than a few ladyfriends can attest to). The baristas also offer to warm up the cookies for you, if you so desire. And who doesn’t love warm cookies? Every time I come here, there are always hella tables free. then again, i usually come after 6pm when everybody has gone home from work. Come here around 8pm and this place is emptier than my brain after watching Jeopardy. The only drawback is that because this is a Barnes & Noble Café, and not an actual Starbucks, they do not accept Starbucks gift cards. But hey, it’s only a minor glitch in the Matrix — right Morpheus?

Ok i may be a little bias because i work in this Barnes & Noble, and out of sheer laziness/poorness i have spend many of my break times in this amazing café. First off, this place is always clean, no sticky tables or floors! The food is really good, and made quickly. My favorite is the peanut butter cookie(ask them to warm it up, its super yummy) They have lots of cookies, brownies, sandwiches and little pastries things Yes they do have Starbuck’s drinks, but is not a fucking Starbucks, so don’t call it that! lol This café has the most amazing Harney & Sons tea selection you won’t find at a starbucks. Only thing is the can get a little busy, and run out out seats quickly, depending what time you go. Also you can grab a book or magazine and chill out with an awesome cup of tea.
