I’m not sure why this place has four stars on seamless. The Unilocal review of three stars is even too much. I spent 16 dollars alone on two smoothies and they came to my house on time but completely incorrect and horribly blended. The all green smoothie didn’t have an ounce of fruit in it. Supposed to come with pineapple orange juice etc kiwi supposedly, didn’t taste any of that. The smoothies got to us with spinach pulp just floating on the top and literally tasted like ACTUALGRASS. We spent 45 dollars here and I don’t ever leave reviews because I’m not a troll but I’m so disappointed with this situation. I also tip well so when this crap happens to me it really upsets me because I’m not a cheap person. But at least notify or call the customer and let them know if you don’t have 90% of the ingredients for your smoothies. The eggs were also horrible, no flavor. The bagels that I ordered tasted so dry it was supposed to be cinnamon raisin, it was not good, not at all. Dried up flavorless piece of bread with a hole in it. This is the second time I’ve ordered from this place and I tried to give them a chance again but a second time of ordering this much money worth of food and nothing is good… I’m not even good at cooking and my boyfriend said my eggs are amazing compared to this. Not cool at all.

Sadly, Bagel Express closed it’s doors on the UES, so my roommate and I ventured out to third ave and discovered Bagels & More. I was craving a good breakfast sandy and this place has pretty standard fare. BEC w/SPKHS, slightly toasted was the order — and they turned it around fairly quick. Price was standard and they don’t shortchange you on the eggs or bacon. The bagels aren’t as doughy as some other places, so don’t expect to be blown away(especially since they don’t appear to be baked on premise). Didn’t take a gander on the muffins, although they looked like basic yoghurt muffins you can get from any breakfast cart on the street. Iced hazelnut coffee — decent, but it’s not on La Colombe or Zabars level. I’d go back, but wouldn’t go out of my way for Bagels and More.

Fast delivery can’t make up for bad food. My coffee had more milk than coffee, and the bagels were overly chewy. They were easily smushed and make as well of been bagel shaped bread. Worse excuse for a New York bagel I’ve had. Only redeeming factor was the scallion cream cheese which is overpriced.

I love a block away from this a place. I enjoy their fresh bagels and abundant choices for cream cheese. They also have a lot of smoked fish options. They’re fast on service and after 2−3x of going they know your order which I like. They take cash only so be prepared.

I live across the street from this place and have become a regular. I think a lot of people are a bit taken aback by the«New York» type service, and I was too at first.(Long ago, I migrated from the midwest.) But after a while, I realized the staff are actually really nice guys. It’s just that they’re very direct when it gets busy. It’s just a cultural thing to get used to. In any event, I highly recommend trying an omelette or an everything bagel with bacon scallion cream cheese. But there’s a lot that’s great here. Oh, and just a tip, when you want to order, you have to go to the very back of the store. That’s where you place your order. A lot of people are confused by that.

Absolutely terrible. Rude staff, slow service, and awful food. I was raised that if you don’t have anything good to say, don’t say anything at all… but this place deserves a bad review. No one go, let’s put these fellas out of business. See ya lata. Sayonara. Adiós.

Fairly dirty inside, bagels super dry and surprisingly bland. Service slow as well…

Painfully slow and rude staff serving mediocre and overpriced bagels, with a poor cream cheese selection.

First time there today, got 2 bacon egg & cheese bagel sandwiches and two small coffees for $ 11. The guys in there were super friendly(and hilarious). Food and coffee was great and was made very quickly. Definitely going to try their delivery sometime soon!

A small place if you want to sit for coffee and bagel. I sit at the front window counter. I agree with some of the others; I was going to go there on a regular basis but the help is strange and erratic in their customer service. You never know if they understand what your request is. How do you get a toasted bagel and cream cheese wrong. The coffee is very good in my opinion. I passed here recently and their Sanitation Grade is pending. Maybe the reviews were correct about the cleanliness. I guess that’s why the counter is so high so you can’t see what’s going on behind there??? I may go back and I may not. It depends if I’m in the neighborhood for breakfast.

I ordered 3 bagels and a quarter pound of scallion cream cheese. One would think, how could you possibly screw this order up right? Well congratulations, this place did. Enough said.

It is very sad, when you make a call for delivery, they do not know the price of your order and they are so quick to rush off the phone before you get to ask any questions or continue your order, I’m very disgusted about their service

The food is cheap for the area and I believe that is why they make business. Otherwise, the place if filthy. Bacon, bread crumbs, cheese and flies can routinely be seen on the floor behind the counter. The signs, counters and juice making machines are dirty! They even have a hand written sign on the juice machine to remind employees to wash it! LOL They don’t clean it out after each use and mix others fruits/vegetables with yours. If you want a lower priced breakfast or lunch, that’s fine, otherwise avoid this dirty establishment. Staff rude during my few visits as well.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve walked by this place and have been tempted to go in. My roommate who is a picky eater raves about it and goes once a week for their turkey wraps. I was starving last weekend so decided to take a chance on delivery from here and I was pleasantly surprised! I got a wrap with turkey, brie, lettuce, tomato and honey mustard and it tasted really fresh. One of my roommates ordered a chicken parm sandwich, but they got the wrong order so that was a bit of a turnoff, but my personal wrap was great. Will definitely be stopping by in the future.

I have been meaning to try this place out so I stopped in just for some light cream cheese since I already have bialys at home. I got a very small container of light scallion cream cheese and this was $ 3.75 with tax. Luckily, when I got home and tried it, it was very good. But considering this was my first time in here and the cream cheese at Ess-a Bagel tastes the same but is much cheaper and their bagels look far better, I do not plan on going back here anytime soon. In the upper east, I would rather go to Tal Bagels as the bagels at this place definitely didn’t look homemade.

Ate a everything bagel toasted w/cheddar and egg this morning. I loved it because the cheese was perfectly gooey and melted, and the bread was fresh. I also drank an iced coffee, which was average. The service here is great and they offer a lot of options for breakfast and lunch. The muffins and pastries look ordered in which isn’t attractive to me, and I’ve had a black and white cookie there once before wasn’t the freshest. They also make fresh juice for those interested — haven’t tried it yet. Convenient location.

Bagels & More sells good bagels. Expensive? Yes but good. I remember when I got a bagel with fat-free vegetable cream cheese. I never understand why bagel shops charge extra for fat-free cc. Like, really? Well, I refuse to get the full fat shtuff. Can I tell the difference? Nah. But I’d like to believe I’m consuming less calories. I also like to believe my cc is healthier than the next person’s so I get the vegetable. SPLURGE. This may costs almost $ 5. Damn, right? Very limited space. Only booths along the windows.

It’s a tiny place but they don’t focus purely on bagels, as the name implies. I saw pre-made panini and other prepared stuff, and they have a large breakfast menu. Take note: they’re good at upselling. I asked for a bagel with lox spread and they asked me if I wanted sliced lox — no, just lox spread. Then they asked me if I wanted to add tomato. Ok, fine.(An extra 50 cents at the register). The bagel was pretty standard. As with most NY bagel places, they don’t skimp on the cream cheese.

Bagel was probably purchased in the frozen section at Food Emporium and sold here with a premium. Cashier is rude and obnoxious. I stop by for lunch thinking I could grab a quick sandwich at a reasonable price. I ordered a Ham on a Plain Bagel. The price said $ 4.75. Guy making sandwich said lettuce, tomato, mayo, cheese? I asked for cheese, lettuce and tomato. Each was a $ 0.50 up charge. Restaurant is for people with no standards.
