I LOVETHISPLACE. Amazing bagels. Definitely recommend the everything bagels. I love lots and lots of cream cheese and they always give PLENTY. Friendly staff! I love George.

Decent bagles and spreads. Attentive, cheery staff. I was expecting more though. Aren’t bagels a NYC staple?

Hired them for catering for 3 places during 2 weeks time — they were overpriced, inefficient, and they were late every single delivery. Go to Gramercy Bagels instead.

I’m pretty sure the bagel I got from here was made the day before… at another store… where the bad bagels are fresh.

Picture this girl, lying in bed sick, not being able to get out of bed for work or for as much as food. In steps her best friend, A functioning adult at work, who orders her the cure: toasted bagel with butter, corn muffin, iced coffee and a diet coke from the closest bagel place she can find to said sick girl. Speedy delivery service and probably the best corn muffin she’s ever had. Warm, soft with a chewy top, no need to be toasted. It was just what this girl needed to be cured from the hangover blues… Bagel was average, iced coffee was nice and chilled… Will def venture into the light of day one day to get that corn muffin again.

The bagel situation at Bagels and More is so very sad. So sad that I can only think that more than a few bagels would commit suicide if given the opportunity. This is not to mention the cream cheeses and side dishes which seem already dead… or at least look like they’re close to taking their last breath. It’s truly hard to believe that a bagel shop like this is able to sustain business on a midtown corner. Their business model seems to be «Let’s do the absolute minimum with zero regard for freshness and taste.» And the portions they give you are small, which, you will realize, is ultimately a favor. And what’s sad is that the guys there were really nice — they just seem to put zero effort into their business. The place needs a major overhaul before it can call itself a NYC bagel store.

I’m visiting NYC from So Cal. I used to live here so I know a good bagel. I was so so so excited for my very first everything bagel with veggie cream cheese in a very long time. I even dreamed of it… I woke up at 6 am(3 am CA time) knowing there was a NY bagel place across the street. When our cab pulled up, I thought«How lucky can a girl get with a bagel place right across the street?» Not so lucky… the bagel I got was spongy and stale. It should have been called a «nothing» bagel, due to the lack of «things» on it. I’m fairly certain the cream cheese was fake and the«veggie» must have stood for the little fleck of carrot that maybe accidently fell into it. I’m bummed. :( On the bright side… the coffee is killer. YUM! And the guy who works there is super nice, so I feel kind of bad for not giving a good review. But it is what it is.

Here’s the lowdown on this place. The main reason why you want to come here is that bagels are 85 cents a piece. The baker’s dozen is cheaper. Bagel with butter is $ 1.25 and a bagel with cream cheese is $ 1.75. The second reason why you would want to come here is the they really do make their bagels on the premises, which is a rarity for a store this size. There is absolutely no seating here. When you come, avoid the coffee, but everything else is a-okay. By the way, the cheap prices also include cheap prices for containers cream cheeses, and fish like lox. The prices are so much better than Daniels down the block! Oh, I almost forgot to mention that the bagels here are bready, not chewy which is the way I usually like them!

This little place is one of the best bagel places I’ve found on the east side. All of the bagels are delicious(I’m a big fan of their everything bagels). There are also, many different kinds of cream cheese, including strawberry, scallion, tofu, and low fat. The workers there are very nice and are very quick to get your bagel, like 5 minutes or less. It’s also not that crowded unlike all of the starbucks in the area. The only reason I’m giving this place only 4 stars is because I like to get coffee with my breakfast, and their coffee is very subpar. My suggestion: get your bagel here then walk two blocks up lexington and get a coffee at dunkin donuts. It’s a great start to the day!

I really disliked this place. It was very small, literally standing room. Galley style store front. The bagels were so, so and the staff was rude. They burned my bagel, wrapped it up and gave it to me. I got about ½ block away and smelt a burnt smell so I opened it to look at it. BURN’T! I brought it back. Then decided to look at my other bagels as well. One was missing cream cheese and I paid for it! They claimed they did not know it was burned. I am sure they totally missed that as they spread cream cheese on it. Skip this place there are better places to go in the area.

The bagels were so good! I noticed they had a great variety of cream cheeses to choose from. Worth checking out, only thing is that there are no seats to sit down, so you must order to go.

I miss NY bread products. It’s not the water, its all skill, I don’t care what you say. This place sated my bagel and bialy fix nicely, and was real close to my hotel. They also have non-dairy tofu cream cheese. Service was nice too.
