I ordered 3 rolls and a Miso soup. The food was fresh; I am especially selective about the salmon and it was fresh. I ordered delivery so I can’t comment on the level of cleanliness but i was happy with my food i would order from here again.

Worst delivery I’ve ever had. Ordered salmon but chicken was sent instead. Sushi was missing. Even worse, I tried the soup and it tasted like chlorine! Seriously! And then the pad thai wasn’t even pad thai, it was just Chinese style noodles w/some crumbled peanuts. The chicken teriyaki(wasn’t what I ordered) tasted like watery soy sauce chicken jerky. I eat at cheap/questionable places all the time so I think I had reasonable expectations before ordering. My experience with Asian Station was just terrible, and the food was completely disgusting. I made the mistake of ordering extra to save some for dinner but I ended up throwing most of it out. Like others, I fell for the ratings on Seamless. Never again.

This place is awful. They have a close-to-perfect rating on Seamless, so I figured I would give it a try. Worst. Mistake. Ever. The delivery took over an hour and a half, and they forgot to deliver the soup that I ordered(and prepaid for). The«asian salad» is just a piece of fried chicken on top of what looks like a garnish of lettuce. I called to ask if they could deliver the soup. The employee on the phone responded with«we’re very busy, sorry».

Worst… ordered a chicken bento box its like they just dump everything in and the chicken is like bubble gum that you’ve been chewing the whole day. ask them to change it but gave me a cold shoulder verdict never coming back

The rolls are very good and the pad thai is great. Service is fast even during lunch hours. Good place for a cheap fast japanese meal

Such a scam. We bought a Groupon for 1 appetizer, 2 regular rolls, 2 specialty rolls, and 2 beers/glasses of wine/cocktails. We mentioned we had a Groupon, so they brought out a special menu. First of all– there were no cocktails on the Groupon menu. Second– the Groupon specifically suggested the titanic roll, and it wasn’t on the Groupon menu! Last but not least– the mandatory 18% gratuity on the original bill, not the cost of the Groupon. Sigh. Fine. Even though the service was not good. I gave my card and they stated they couldn’t take a card for anything less than $ 15 excluding the gratuity! Okay… So even though my total was OVER $ 15, they wouldn’t accept a debit/credit card because they«couldn’t» swipe for just gratuity and tax. Riiiight. Will not be returning. Mediocre food, lies, bad service, and ridiculous rules.

3 – 4 stars for delivery. The delivery ordered through seamless is quick and polite. The teriyaki salmon bento box and the chicken and broccoli are my go to dishes. I have not tried their other offerings, but I intend to. They will make them with less oil if you request which earns major stars in my book. I also like that they well let you substitute brown rice without a ridiculous up-charge. I’ve never dined inside the restaurant so I cannot comment on the dining in experience.

Not a bad place for sushi. The service is slow with only one server on a Saturday night. The spare ribs are probably the best thing on the menu, so try them. The sushi is average, but not a bad if you are in the area. The Thai food here is actually good, so try that. They do a great job at presentation here, so if you like pretty things and that stuff then that helps.

They get two stars because the food was okay. However, all the food was COVERED in sauce, kind of like they didn’t want you to taste the actually meat. We came with a Groupon, and like the other reviews have stated, they aren’t too happy about their«internet deal» customers. We were hoping to save money and stick with the happy hour drinks and only the food included with the Groupon(which is a VERY limited menu, by the way). We ended up paying twice as much as what we bought the Groupon for, plus the price we actually paid for the Groupon. After we complained to our server and the manager, nothing was done about out bill. Before we left, I overhead another customer complaining about his high bill when they had ordered everything from the Groupon menu as well. They won’t be back and neither will we.

If you’re going to do an either or — Groupon or happy hour — restaurants should specify that before billing the customer and insisting that that is the policy. I cashed the Groupon at the beginning of the dinner so there was no question of that and then I specified that I wanted drinks«before the happy hour ended». Now I’m stuck with an overinflated bill that I was not aware I would be paying. Nothing worse than a bad surprise when you get the check. Especially when the food is only mediocre.

I really like trying new sushi places and seeing what they have to offer, and this place happened to have a good special on Amazon Local. Went around 5pm and place wasn’t too busy so that was nice, and the sushi was very good! Always a big fan of Shrimp Tempura, but also had some Special Rolls like the Christmas and Godzilla Rolls. Christmas Rolls may be a new favorite of mine as it was filled with Soft Shell Crabs and some other things. Would definitely go to this place again!

wow. Ordered chicken green curry and it was probably the smallest portion size I was ever served. The soup tasted like green color water. There was very little flavor except for the few vegetables they decided to included. I also ordered the sesame chicken which was equally unsatisfying if not worse. There was hardly any meat on the pieces. And sauce tasted like ketchup. It is safe to say I will not be returning to this establishment again.

Stopped in here with a couple of friends before a midday museum trip. Wound up taking advantage of the lunch specials. I had the General Tso’s special and a Sapporo. Decent pricing. The spicy tuna rolls were good. The staff was patient, and the food arrived especially quick. It’s a laid-back vibe that exists here. The one thing that prevents me from giving this place a third star is their bug problem. Throughout the meal, from the time we sat down, there was a fly that refused to leave the vicinity of our table. I don’t see how the staff could see this problem and not take enough precautions to make sure there were no bugs. Mind you, it was a chilly day outside and they had the front windows open, but still. The nagging pest did detract from a decent meal. Hopefully they’ll take greater pains to cut down on the infestation.

Came in here with a Groupon. The rolls they served us were slightly creative and the décor is chic and modern albeit a bit haphazard. The three rolls we had: Red Bull Roll: What made this roll noteworthy was the addition of pepper tuna to the top. It gave it a nice zest and a heartier texture. Titanic Roll(scallops): Perhaps the most interesting. This had salmon, crab and avocado wrapped in yellow rice paper. Layered upon the broad face of the roll was a piece of scallop and kiwi. The layering as well as the texture of the scallops and kiwi gave this roll an interesting deconstructed feel. Hot Lover Roll: Pretty Standard: Tuna, Shrimp Tempura, etc. The décor is a mixture of city chic and reclaimed urban. The near side of the restaurant has exposed brick and pipes, making the city setting always familiar. The bar is backlit bottles and has black stained wood. Behind the sushi bar is a pebble mosiac. The far wall from the entrance is a four paneled fresco of a horse drawn caravan.

The host(or whatever his role was) who seated us was rude, obnoxious, ruined the evening and is the sole reason for getting 1 star. Two of us arrived and asked for a table for 4. We told the host/seater that we had a Living Social voucher and asked for the menu. His response was«you can only use 1» before walking away. We had to ask him again to bring the menu. Once we got the menu is was much more limited than what the menu on the Living Social site listed. When we asked if we could order something we saw online he said no, we already changed that menu and this is it. Funny, I took out my phone and checked to see if this was true. and it wasn’t. Not wanting him to spit in our food we didn’t say anything. Aside from him the food was pretty good. We ordered the rock’n shrimp which was my favorite. It was hot and crispy and flavorful. We also had the tempura appetizer which was average at best. For our entrees we ordered the eggplant and beef bento box which was delicious. We also ordered the salmon bento box(the salmon was overcooked and disappointing) and a spicy crab roll and shrimp tempura roll. Be conscious of what you order and what comes with your dish! We had to ask them to bring out the soup that came with our bento boxes. Unfortunately we forgot that edamame also came with our dishes but they didn’t bring it out and we didn’t remember.

Me and a friend came here with a Groupon deal and enjoyed our meal. For the price it was a decent amount of food and it came with a glass of wine. The waiter was nice enough and the food was good(not amazing, but for $ 12 each we weren’t expecting a Morimoto experience). If I were walking by and in the mood for sushi, I would come here again…

I had low expectations due to the bad reviews. But again, I was shocked at how good this place was. No, it’s not high quality sushi in any way. But it was good enough for me to order delivery next time. Yeah, one of those. I didn’t even look at the Chinese part of the menu because well, I’m Chinese. My friends got some and it looked good. The sunset roll salmon was fresh, kani salad was tasty.

I had the groupon here with 8 pieces of sushi, two entrees and one order of sake overall, just ok. average Americanized Chinese crusine, average sushi Not so average price for the Chinese food here. They definitely try to fancy up the chinese dishes here by serving it in fancy plates and charge higher price. but the taste is still mediocre Wasn’t happy that they added 20% service charge to the total bill along with the tax. Think there are better Chinese places on the upper east side

I am reviewing their Happy Hour and their lunch/delivery This place never seems crowded, which kind of scares me… I always walk by it and am impressed by the interior design. Everything from the dim lights, blue lights, and bar area seems very appealing. I bet if they had specials or half price roll nights, they could attract more business. ANYWAYS I went to Asian Station to take advantage of their Happy Hour(everyday from 4−7PM). Happy Hour includes, beer, wine, house sake, and sake cocktails for half price. I had the lycheetini, and it was sweet, but strong. Be careful though: 3 of these WILL cause a hangover the next morning. The bartender was nice and attentive. I ordered lunch delivery the other day: two sushi rolls and a miso soup for 13 dollars(tip included). I chose a Phillie roll and a spicy tuna roll. The delivery guy came fast and the rolls and soup were very tasty.

We got delivery, and everyone was impressed with a place no one had ever heard of. Best dishes: Chilean sea bass with miso glaze. Super-tasty and a very generous portion. Baby eggplant in garlic sauce looked revolting and tasted fabulous. Even people who don’t like eggplant might like this. We also ordered some sushi, which was perfectly fine, but nothing out of the ordinary. Everything was fresh and well packaged, and delivery was quick.
