So disappointed with this place, it breaks my heart to write a review for a chain breakfast place. I occasionally go to DD in the morning to get myself a turkey cheddar bacon on a croissant, always on a croissant. This morning I decided to go get myself the usual, the store was not that crowded, there was no line and the employees were busy amongst themselves talking. I stood in front of a register for a couple of minutes until someone decided to take my order, there were two cashiers at the register already just yapping away. Finally I order but I could tell this woman was not paying attention, she continued to yap away with her coworker. I am assumed she had the order right because she repeated it after me but alas, she didn’t. My sandwich was on a flatbread. I look on the receipt on the bag and it says flatbread. I clearly stated I wanted it on a croissant twice and she repeated it after me. Why on earth did she put in the order wrong?! I’ve noticed that there is a slight language barrier between the workers and the customers but this means that they should take the extra time to listen carefully and understand what is being ordered. They should consider actually working instead of using work hours as gossip time.

I work right across the street and come in atlas 3 – 4 times a week. The morning crew is so awesome, but so is the evening shift.(Just one of the newer employees seems to always be irritated and yells at you, «is that all??») Otherwise everyone else is always pleasant and happy to take my order. plus they remember me so that’s nice too. The coffee I ask for is always on point, toasted almond with caramel swirl and almond milk– they make it perfect every single time! Other DD locations especially in Staten Island make it soooooo nasty. It isn’t so difficult, but this location, they just make my coffee cravings happy. Also, the banana split, mmm so good! Always done by the same guy for me, and he really does pay attention to detail so it isn’t messy, and looks just like the picture.

1 star because twice in one week they have screwed up my order, just a strawberry banana smoothie, so I went back one last time today to give them another chance. I got up to the counter and asked«do you have strawberry banana smoothies today? Or no?» And she said«yes» and proceeded to tell someone else to make it. I HEARD her say strawberry banana smoothie. So she was not wrong hence the 1 star. But instead I got this gross large strawberry coolata. A waste of $ 5. And for some god awful reason they don’t sell medium smoothies or coolatas anymore because every time I said medium she said«sorry only large or small.» Not going back.

so I would have given this a 0 star but the guy that actually ran the order was a little human, so I gave him my card ask for DR medium with no milk so he seem a little confused, language barrier I suppose, so I look on the machine and see 3.04, I toldhim it should be 1.08 so I told him to cancel it cause I am not paying 3⁄08. he call the manager and that where the problem started. her nasty attitude was like well you have to say its the DR you want and you didn’t register my card and yada yada yada. so I tld her look just give me back my money, she literally hissed at me tossed the money and my hand and threw my card across the counter. I swear if I wasn’t at work I want to take her sari off her head strangle her. then she shout at the top of her voice say Dark Roast next time, if looks could kill she be dead. never go there again, the owner need to send these people to cust, service classes. and also how to speak and understand English. sorry but this PLACESUCKSBIGTIME

Love this franchise. However theirs truly a serious language barrier here at this store. Three people ahead of me., each customer had to repeat themselves more than once as they placed their orders. Once I reached the counter too place my order. The cashier simply held a conversation with another employee., never greeted me, or said anything about taking my order. I patiently waited to see if they were back up with previous orders. Once I placed my order for three chicken biscuits., XL ice coffee(French Vanilla) sweetened. + XL ice tea. The cashier literally asked me six times about my order. Trying not too get aggravated., I asked him to repeat what I stated. His response was incorrect it wasn’t funny at all. When my order was called. I got three chicken biscuits. Hash brown I never ordered. Instead of Ice Coffee. I got Hot dark roasted coffee. The staffing was very rude n disrespectful. Doubtful I will return. Sad because it’s very convenient and close to the MTA.

So I was making a quick drop by so I can use my DD perks for a $ 1.99 tuna sandwich and this location is right where I get off literally from the chambers St. Subway on my way to a night class after a whole day’s work in Brooklyn. The reason for a little background info is that the idea of a Dunkin donut is where you can go in and out with coffee or sandwich without being bothered to the extent of making such a review to forewarn people of a bad experience because that is the nature of a retail coffee shop – you’re not supposed to have a terrible experience. Unfortunately, I have to be honest about this and this Dunkin donut location has so far been the most unfriendliest and has brought me to confirm that the person manning the cash register is a smug SOB. So I ordered a tuna sandwich and showing the DD app on my phone where I clicked the«redeem«button to pay for a tuna sandwich costing $ 4 and change to just $ 2.17 due to the DD perks. I get this blank stare from the guy who happen to say something in the words of «cheap»(I may have been mistaken but it’s a word muttered to himself with a slight huff as he looked at me). I stood there as I removed the iPod earphone which was on silent as he spoke so I know I heard him express something to my face. I asked politely for the receipt and he said that«you have to pay 2.17 with tax.» I was under the impression that I already clicked the«redeem» button but it turns out I did but I had to click the use now button. The person just stood there looking at me straight face with a smirk and an unmistakeable smugness that bears no place in a store that sees people everyday. I just gave my phone back to have him gun it and I just said thank you because I didn’t want my food«tampered» in any way. Luckily somebody else made the tuna sandwich for me to which I felt a little bit confident eating it’s contents. This is not the first time I’ve encountered the attitude of the guy manning the cash register because I’ve had him serve me before. Today just confirmed that he is truly the smug of a character that he is. While I have nothing against Dunkin donuts and I have complained about different coffee roll sizes(and taste) from a broadway manhattan location(in front of 26 Federal Plaza) and the normally kind and helpful and pleasing customer service in Fulton street Brooklyn location(Off the C train at Fulton and Franklin ave), I would never again step on this Dunkin donut store at this place. The guy’s name is in the picture posted with this review.

coffee is absolutely garbage. idk what other reviewers are raving about. I had to get it «fixed» three times and just ended up throwing it out after. the donuts are as dry as my grandmas crotch.

Worst experience yesterday at any DD ever. Got a water a #8 and hash browns. After being served my meal I realized they never gave me my coffee. I went back and asked for it and they told me I never ordered it. I explained that I certainly did say«french vanilla medium“and then the man said«uh, no you didn’t» well I said at that point the meal comes with a coffee just give me my coffee in stead of calling a customer a liar. He then raised his voice at me and said I was calling myself a liar. Wow, never got my coffee. I’ll never go back to this location…

The coffee is good but they don’t pay attention to what you order, I’ve had to stop back a few times to return what they gave me because it wasn’t what I asked for. It’s a bit annoying when I have to rush to work and then rush back to switch my order a second time.

I had such a great experience at this location! I came on a Friday night by myself… it was cold and a little wet. It was my birthday eve, and I was in New York City for the first time and took the time to wander alone. I wanted to see the 9⁄11 memorial, and I stopped for some coffee first on my way. The men behind the counter was so sweet, and gave me a free heart-shaped doughnut for my birthday! So kind. The coffee was perfectly hot, without scalding my tongue.

Honestly with the nature of this area, who the hell has time in the morning dunk a donut? Everyone is on the MOVE! REMOVEALLTHEDAMNTABLES&CHAIRS. It is SOCROWDED. Anyway, this place is open 24⁄7 which we don’t seem to have much of anymore in NYC. Their donuts looked suspect to me though so I stick to the corn muffin and hot chocolate.

Dunkin Donuts in Church St is always open, which is pretty incredible. If you come here in the day you should expect spending some time in a line, and even if you come 4 am you won’t necessarily be alone in the store. The donuts tastes great, and it’s definitely worth the waiting time.

Amazing customer service! I had to make a larger order and I NEVER drink coffee so I had no idea what to order or the special jargon that goes along with ordering coffee drinks. Thank god I had a paper written down with everyone’s orders from the people on set that I was working on. The kind woman behind the counter took it from my hands, filled the order with a smile and packed everything up in one big bag very nicely! I had to run back because a few bagels had been left out but that was my fault because I thought that everything was in that one bag, so they remade the bagels so they were fresh and the manager didn’t charge me anything extra. He was super nice! These people were awesome!

Very convenient location, i get off the E train subway station, it’s right there I go in get my coffee and out and it’s a block away from my office. The staff are always happy to greet you Good morning! ready to get ur order and is quick to serve… there’s usually a long line but don’t get discourage getting your coffee because of the long line because they are very fast. That long line can be deceiving but you won’t regret it!

I always associate Dunkin’ Donuts with fond childhood memories of birthdays & munchkins! Although DD has expanded its menu over the yrs(and I’ve tried parts of it), I’m still drawn to the assorted 25 munchkins for $ 5.99! I also had the iced coffee original blend($ 2.29) which was pretty good!

Efficient, crowded, almost no table space. Typical for a well-run Dunkin Donuts. Just a little too crowded for my liking.

The crew at this DD rocks. They are efficient, accurate and friendly, and the very few times where there is an error(and I do mean very few), you will never get the eyeroll and sneer. They take coupons with a smile. Most of all the manager is friendly and happy and never has a bad day. The iced coffee never has that watered down taste common to many other DDs. And don’t be scared off by the long line out front. It moves faster than a City Hall Park rat. Squeak :o) I walk out of my way to this location even though I have a DD in my building. I avoid the 250 Bway/5 Park Pl location at all cost.
