After frustratingly leaving Kilo up the street we ended up here. Again, someplace we walk by everyday but had never tried. The hostesses met us warmly and seated us immediately at the high tops in the front facing the open windows to the street. The place was not very full when we got there around 6, but it quickly filled up and turned into a very fun atmosphere. Our waiter was charming and accommodating. He seemed happy to be there! The wine was good. We ordered off the menu, but there is also a good selection of happy hour options of beer, wine, and well drinks. Soon our table grew from 3 to six as we spotted friends walking by and invited them in. The music was great and not too loud. The space has an Italian bistro vibe which looks really cool. We didn’t have anything to eat, but the plates I saw coming out of the kitchen looked fantastic! Will definitely put this on my list of places to wind down after work! I wish they were opened for lunch!

Great place for brunch! Very low key with great food. They have a brunch happy hour $ 5 wine but I just got a mimosa($ 7). The poached eggs and omelets are awesome. It comes with fresh fruits and potatoes on the side. I would also recommend the lemon ricotta pancakes. Super delicious when it comes out hot. Overall the service is very friendly. The food is fresh and cooked nicely. There is also outdoor/window seating and should be taken advantage of when the whether is nice. Compared to other popular brunch places, it doesn’t get the same amount of attention but the food is equally well made: D

Great service, awesome brick oven pizza and a solid beer/wine list. I had the tallegio mushroom truffle pie on the server’s recommendation. It did not disappoint. Try it with a hoppy IPA!

Though we live in the neighborhood, last night was our first time at Annabel. I really liked it! The service was good– our waiter kept checking in, but didn’t rush us. They had a very nice amber beer for $ 7 Happy Hour price. I love it when restaurants have happy hour prices! The appetizers were very good, crab cake is a stand out. Our ricotta cheese pizza with tomatoes and arugula was very good. We felt chill and happy. What more do you need? Oh, one suggestion– the interior is very rustic and very relaxing and pleasing– but the sign outside simply does not match. It looks too cold and commercial. You should change your sign to a more inviting design.

The most underrated pizza in Hell’s Kitchen. Possibly in the city. Gruyère and and Brussels the standout but haven’t been disappointed yet.

Went for brunch and it was great. Food was great. Flavorful and light on the stomach. Bloody Mary’s were on point. Frittata was delicious. And this place is always busy every time I pass by.

LOVE the pizzas here. Unique flavors that totally work. We got one of the pork belly ones and really loved it. Perfect wine bar spot for a Friday night — we had to wait a bit, but making a reservation would definitely help with that. It has a great big front window that is opened in nice weather — beautiful atmosphere!

Came for brunch recently. The pizza with duck prosciutto, ricotta, and blueberry compote was delicious and perfectly sweet and savory. Stuffed french toast with nutella and a caramelized banana was also quite well done. Their bloody mary could have been a little spicier for my taste but overall a great experience. Would return!

It’s a sad Cinco de Mayo when you have to admit to yourself that you no longer have it in you to fight your way to the front of a bar at a Mexican restaurant for cheap, hastily blended margarita. But such was our lot tonight. We sadly ambled down 9th Ave until we found Annabel, with sexy lighting and one more open table left. We found delish cocktails — the Lili with spicy tequila, yum! — an outstanding arugula salad, pizza perfection with mozzarella, spinach, and pancetta, and wonderful service… truly a great find. Can’t wait to go back, and sit in Tyler’s section again.

We stumbled on this restaurant after walking in Central Park. Sunday brunch. Had a high top table in a window. Place was cute; food excellent. Good vibe, busy but excellent service. We had the ricotta pancakes(awesome) and frittata. Drinks great. Loved our server, Bryan M. We will be coming back and telling others!

We go to this place very often for dinner and brunch. Both menus are great, including pizza options on both. Reservations are generally a good idea for thurs/fri/Saturday evenings unless you go early. Service is quick. Brunch — quick casual brunch, different from most other brunch spots in HK. The fact that they offer pizzas for brunch is great. Have also had the eggs Benedict which was average, pancakes which were average and the pulled pork with beans and avocado which was amazing. Dinner– great selection of beer. Plenty on tap and in bottles and changes regularly. Although you can’t make any adjustments to the pizzas, they have a diverse selection and everyone should be able to find one they like. The crust is always great and the ingredients fresh. Highly recommend this place for anyone who enjoys craft pizza and looking for a good beer as well.

Great décor, lots of sunlight coming in from the restaurant front windows. Very comfortable benches and seating. Good service. Fried mac and cheese?! Yes please. Fall off the bone ribs?! And an egg :) at 11a. Thank you

We went to Annabel for Valentine’s Day dinner. We loved the atmosphere – very warm and romantic without trying too hard. I also really liked that they offered their usual menu instead of a price fixe menu. And they had happy hour specials… on Valentine’s Day! Abbey the bartender was great – friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The restaurant had a good selection of craft beers and lots of options during happy hour. We ordered the mussels to start. The portion was large, but the sauce lacked a little flavor and would have benefitted from more garlic(but the crostini was amazing). For my entrée I had the eggplant pizza. Again, great portion and the crust was very flavorful. However, the pesto really wasn’t needed on the pizza and some of the eggplant slices were overseasoned. My husband had the lamb and gnocci. He said the gnocci were delicious, but wished they weren’t slightly burnt. Similarly, the lamb was flavorful but a little overcooked. The chocolate mousse was the star of the show. Just order it. Overall, this place had a great vibe. We’d go back. The menu was excellent and the flavors were good, but execution fell short at times.

Annabel had a really solid New Year’s dinner. I really liked that it wasn’t prix fixe like most restaurants are for New Year’s celebrations. The ambiance was really nice and warm, and they decorated the place with festive balloons and provided noisemakers, party hats, etc. Order the truffle oil mushroom pizza, it is divine! The appetizers were decent but more about presentation than portion size. Their drinks were very good and pretty original. Their desserts were mediocre. I’d come back here though for sure.

With its all-over tan wood paneling and orange drop lamps, Annabel reminds me of a trendy wine cellar. It’s warm and jazzy, perfect for date nights. Definitely try a pizza when you are here. We took a really long time to decide which pizza to order because there were too many inventive combinations. Toppings spanned many of my favorites: Brussels sprouts, pears, cauliflower, pork belly, brie cheese, the list goes on. Yes, these are ingredients featured on their pizzas! We settled on the eggplant pizza(eggplant, tomato sauce, pesto, capers, chili flakes, pecorina) and the boy ordered Bacon Mac & Cheese with Pork Rib. I’d say both dishes were an A however the pork rib was not well-spiced/marinated enough to my liking. He’s a big mac and cheese fan, loved the dish and completely chomped it down. I’d come back just to try another one of their pizzas. Beware: Hot chili oil is spicier than you think.

Cute little brunch place in Hell’s Kitchen. Came here with a party of 5 — great place for brunch as well as for groups. The service was very good, everyone was very helpful and nice. The waiter was very patient with us as our entire party did not arrive at the same time. There was a little hot pepper spill, and everyone was very apologetic, it wasn’t anyone’s fault, but they were very nice about it, which I appreciated. They have some good drink specials and happy hour deals. Pretty good beer selection as well! The Food: Our entire table got pizza because the pictures looked so good! They’re individual pizzas — four large slices and were all absolutely delicious! Overall, I would say two pizzas could easily feed three people, possibly four. But we went ahead and each got our own and had lots of left overs! Pizza with gruyère, applewood bacon, eggs, brussels, chili flakes — $ 18 I absolutely love a runny egg on my pizza, and they are generous with their eggs which is awesome! So much goodness in one pizza, I loved it. Pizza with spicy andouille sausage, broccoli rabe — $ 17 The spicy sausage was delicious! Great flavor. Pizza crust was good too! Overall, had a great experience here, the food was delicious, the service was excellent, I would recommend this place to others and come back here again!

Stopped by here to have dinner with 2 of my coworkers. We decided to be piggies and got drinks and pizza. We were able to share 2 pizzas and 1 cured meat dish, but were all stuffed by the end of the night. We came here after a glass of wine at another bar, and the waiter was very helpful with our selection of cocktails. I forgot the names of all the items however my drink had lime and was delicious. The pizza are amazing! This is a place a would bring my boyfriend or friends visiting New York because there is no way the pizzas won’t hit a spot Descriptions of the Pizzas Pizza 1: Caulliflour, pork belly, and onions Pizza 2: Brussel sprouts, Egg and bacon. Lovely ambiance and elegant looking space, I love working so close to you!

Annabel, you had me at duck prosciutto. Walking into Annabel, you can’t help but be enticed by her sexy, curvy bar and honey colored woods. It’s a very elegant looking space. I can’t put a finger on this place, great wines, great tap beers and a pizza oven making some outrageous pizza combinations. I sit at the bar while waiting for the rest of my party. I order a happy hour tap beer, a chocolate stout. This isn’t like a glass of Ovaltine, its a dark, rich beer. They also offer a happy hour IPA, keep it. I’m not a fan of IPAs. They do have a crazy beer selection, lots of great choices that’s not your mass produced beers. The rest of my party comes and they’re all interested in one thing, pizza. The Duck Prosciutto with Ricotta and Blueberry chutney is calling us. How funky does this sound? The cured Duck Prosciutto is sliced thin, it has a more flavorful taste then ham prosciutto. I thought the blueberry chutney would throw it off but they also add arugula to the mix. Arugula adds the peppery component and pulls it all together. They also brought a chili oil to the table which I was totally fiending. The second pizza we ordered was a Gorganzola, taleggio and mozzarella pizza. Say Cheese! Another home run hit, this pizza was a cheesy dream. We all left full and happy. Annabel is should be considered if your looking for a great: Wine bar Happy Hour Artisan Pizza

Came here for a family brunch on a Sunday afternoon. What looked to be a pizza place, turned out to be even better. We started with the pizza that was basically breakfast on a pizza. It had a runny egg which I love, some veggies, bacon, and it was amazing. Unfortunately I forget the name of my entrée but my description and picture will help you. It had two dry rubbed ribs which were great and fried mac and cheese squares. Yes, fried mac and cheese. It also came with a poached egg over a coleslaw. The dish made me think I was down south which was great because I love this type of comfort food. What made this place a 5 star restaurant was the waiter. I believe his name with Brian. He was very witty, funny, and knew his stuff. When going over the desserts, he made us close our eyes and describe what the desserts were like. We had a chocolate mousse, tiramisu, and a cheesecake. All three were great but to me, the tiramisu was the best of the three. I would definitely come back here for brunch and have already told a few people they have to join me too.

This is a really great spot that is beautifully decorated. It’s especially nice on a warm day when they open up their floor to ceiling windows. They have ample space for a group as well. They have a very nice craft beer list with a few rare beers on tap. They had a beer from my favorite craft brewery — The Bruery from Placentia, CA — on tap! It’s the first time I’ve seen The Bruery on tap in NYC. So if you visit, check out their beer list on the back page of their menu. The main attraction here is the pizza. All of their pizza’s are personal size but you could potentially share a pizza + appetizer between two people. The most popular pizza is the gruyère, applewood bacon, brussel sprouts topped with a fried egg. It’s pretty awesome and I’d highly recommend trying it. The crust on the pizza is really delicious — crunchy on the outside, but soft and chewy on the inside. Overall this is a great neighborhood restaurant that serves up artisan pizzas and craft brews. It’s worth checking out if you’re in the Hell’s Kitchen area.
