Amiran Van Lines

I WISH WE COULD LEAVE NO STARS. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I used them a while back for my move from NJ to CA. I do not understand what the deal is with this company. It is registered with the DOT and please know I have filed a complaint with them. But Beckens Moving and Storage. 1688 East 16^th Street Brooklyn, NY 11 229, (877) 423‑2536, who I booked the move with is not a registered transport company.
The movers showed up 2 hours and said that Amiran and Beckens were the same company. They charged me more than I was quoted, When the driver did finally call he said he would be there Saturday or Sunday and that we needed to pay in cash. Which when I booked with the company they told me I could pay by money order. I called the company to tell them about this and they immediately got defense and said he would never have said that and raised his voice at me, I believe his name was Joe. Then my things arrived a month late at their destination and they gave NO warning they would be arriving so we had to scramble to be home and they LOST my bed frame. Boxes marked fragile were on the bottom of stacks. Things were broken. It was a mess. They treated to keep my stuff if we didnt pay in cash when they got there. And then when they were finally going to take the money order they didnt want to take it cause I wrote Beckens on it and not Amiran. They called their supervisor and he told them it was okay.
The whole thing was ridiculous. The driver called a week later and said they found the bed frame and would bring it to me but they never did. I could never get anyone on the phone and when I called for a claim form they never sent it. I also sent them a certified letter that was returned to me. I called once a week for a few weeks to check the status and they either tell me that my things will be here next week or I leave a message and no one returned my call. I have also sent emails that I have gotten no response.
STAY AWAY. IT’S NOT WORTH IT.

The worst experience was speaking with with Trudy. She handle phone call in the most dishonest way and so I expect being their service. The first thing the guy she passed me to asked me was «where are you from «, as soon as he find out I was Italian he answered me «oooh good my uncle is Sicilian» I hang up on him… don’t trust guy that handle a conversation this way, they are a Rip Off… found out later they had the worst review ever!
