AAA Ichiban Sushi

Worst sushi I’ve ever had. Worse than supermarket sushi. Arrived cold. Rice was a sticky mess. Salad was iceberg lettuce with a few tomato slices on top. Just horrible.

So me and my girlfriend decided to order in tonight. While the food was on time, she ordered a vegetarian bento box because she is a vegetarian, and instead of a cucumber avocado roll she got a California roll which obviously contains artificial crab meat. In addition the rolls I ordered were rather meh for the price they were charging. Get your food else where

The Gyoza are crispy and delicious. The sushi is very fresh. The pad tai is amazing! Despite the reviews on delivery time, the food is really very good. As other reviewers state, there are some limitations with language, so on-​line orders are much better.

Came here after finding Jin Sushi on Broome closed and Zest had a half hour wait. AAA Ichiban was empty. We should have taken that as a sign but our desires for immediate sushi overcame our better judgment and we grabbed a seat. I ordered the Tuna Tataki appetizer thinking I couldn’t go wrong, after all… I like tuna… i like seared tuna… I like ponzu sauce. Nope. Didn’t even finish the dish between the three of us. A friend ordered the Katsu Don and said it was the worst Katsu Don he has ever had. It was flavorless… all of it: the egg, vegetables and even the fried breaded pork. (How do you make fried stuff taste bad/​unexciting?! Oh, but alas, they succeeded.) The sushi rolls were okay but I will not be back.

If it was possible to give 0 stars, I would.
Ordered take-​out delivery from this restaurant yesterday. I live fairly close to the restaurant, at most a 15 minute walk. I can understand a 30 min wait for the delivery but it took more than TWO WHOLE HOURS for the food to arrive. I was furious, but food is food, and i’m a lover of sushi.
After going through the trouble of waiting two hours for three rolls, I took my first bite and was disappointed. Two hour wait and subpar sushi rolls.
Absolutely unacceptable.

DON’T ORDER FROM HERE. Horrible experience ordering over the phone. Had to repeat my order several times and when it arrived some of the rolls were missing and some of the order was just wrong. I called back to get the order fixed and when they arrived the second time they tried to charge us for the mistakes.

Has been my go to sushi place since moving to LES, but I am going to look elsewhere. It’s a combination of the decreasing quality of sushi, issues with delivery time and rood/​impatient delivery men. I order frequently and there is little appreciation of being a repeat customer, so, I am going to take business elsewhere.

Credit where credit is due: the sushi was excellent across the six different orders. Unfortunately the overall experience ordering from them was disappointing. We ordered on seamless and we had to call to get a status check after it was 20 minutes late. When it did arrive we were missing two soups and the drink order was incorrect. We then called repeatedly and no one answered the phone, nor was there an answering machine. Perhaps ideal for eating in, but I would beware of delivery.

Really good quality sushi, delivery sometimes quick sometimes long depends on the time of day. They made a mistake on my order once, out of the tons of times I have ordered here. They were very nice about it offered to credit me on a future order, but that is kind of useless because they never took down my name? I haven’t ordered here in a while because I have found cheaper spots that are still good quality. However, I can’t deny that I love there kani salad and spicy tuna avocado salad.

This place is pretty good. Every time I order from here I get the bento box specials because it is the most worth it to get. The bento box dishes come with a side of soup and salad.
