You can’t go wrong with a slice of pizza for 99 cents! Don’t worry, it tastes good.

I just noticed this spot this week so I decided to give it a try. The store is very small so don’t go with intentions to dine-in because you will be in for a surprise to find no seating. I’d be curious to see how long they stay in business considering they are selling pizza for a dollar and they had four guys behind the small counter working when I stopped in. I can’t imagine how they make money with overhead like that. But this review is all about the pizza right? The pizza I thought was somewhat bland but not completely terrible. For a dollar it’s hard to expect anything other than the most basic pizza possible. I also can’t imagine what planet the reviewers live on that complain about tax. Uncle Sam needs his slice of the pie too. It’s not a $ 3 slice of pizza so sure it lacks in quality but for the price I definitely will stop in again.

What can you expect for a 99 cents slice of pizza?! I walked by this place once around 2:30pm, peeking inside to see how good it looked. The establishment was a tiny wa

I stopped here after the typica lunch rush hours, and to be honest I was a little bit disappointed. I have visited the other 99 cent shop down the street several times(on 43rd) and have enjoyed it. The reason I was hoping this place would be better is because the pizza simply looked better. They also do happen to have pizza with toppings on them available unlike the other 99 cent shop which is a nice bonus. These of course cost a smidge more, but it’s nice if you want something with pepperoni or mushrooms on it. Really, the primary reason I wasn’t impressed with this place is because I was expecting to walk in and out like I always do at the other place in like 30 seconds(after hours). However, since it was about 7PM, there were not a lot of customers filtering though, thus I had to wait about 5 minutes for my pizza to be warmed up cause there wasn’t one fresh out of the oven. It was sadly still a little bit cold even after the 5 minutes in the oven. The pizza was also a heck of a lot greasier than expected. This is probably because they use better cheese etc, but it had soaked through the crust making the pizza almost a little mushy which I hate. Either way, I’m gonna give this place another shot just to avoid the line during lunch time. We’ll see how it goes! I will update!

Oh, and I don’t care what Srini has to say about this place(unless, of course, he agrees with me!). Ha.
