Whuuuutt?!! I wasn’t expecting much for a dollar pizza but it was actually damn good. Even the crust was soft and not only edible, but actually tasty. Go figure! I walked in, got my plain slice paid and devoured it in a New York minute. I have had dollar pizza at other spots but this has them beat by far! And it’s better than the other options out there. Are you freaking kidding me?! I am hoping that I just didn’t catch them at a good moment and can come back for the same damn good slice.

Walked in around 1:30 am. This is the worst pizza by far I have ever tasted. The dough tasted like it was frozen dough and had hardly any cheese on it. 3 $ for 2 slices and a coke and all but the coke went Straight to the garbage. TOURISTS: THISISNOTREALNYPIZZA!

Never have I ever given a one star review until this moment. Please note: this is for delivery. We ordered a simple pepperoni pizza at 1:00am and had an estimate of 1:45am. At 2:00am, we started calling the restaurant, but it went to an automated message saying the voicemail was not set up. We called grub hub for some much needed insight and no response. After our maybe 20th call, our order was cancelled at 2:20am. 2bros? If you are closed, that’s fine, just tell us! Horrible experience. Won’t order from here ever, ever again.

The pizza sucks, the guys behind the counter are rude but it only costs a dollar. That’s ok. The real problem is that every day the block all around 2 Bros is strewn with pizza boxes and plates. These guys just don’t care. Please go around the corner to any one of the delis — they all serve dollar pizza too.

I’ve eaten at least one slice from this place for the past 2 years. It is 3 blocks from my school and across the street from a fairway I delivered for. Often this is the only thing of can afford to eat in this area, it always does the job and is typically quite tasty. It’s thicker crust makes it more filling than the place at 7th and 23rd(though I do prefer that one slightly) Consistency is not a given, crust and size vary, but it’s only a dollar! Nope not some snazzy gourmet slice, but I’ve eaten more than my share of real awful $ 3+ slices in this city, and for just a buck 2 bros is always an awesome deal.

$ 1.00 cheese pizza. Not bad. Great taste and easy location to get a quick bite and go. For another $ 1.99 you can get two slices and a can of soda ‘coke products’ ** my personal tip, even if you dont eat both slices, take one for you and give one to a homeless**

Come on it deserves 5 stars for being only $ 1. That’s the same as four quarters. It’s cheap. It’s pizza. You can’t get it wrong. A few ingredients. An oven. A few minutes, and voila. A freshly made thin crust pizza with good flavor. A slice is only a dollar. A pie is $ 8. These guys are constantly making pies. This is our spot in midtown.

For $ 1/slice pizza? You bet this is getting 4 stars. Ok, so the flavor quality may not be anywhere near as high as two-thirds of the places in this city, but that still means it beats of 33% of the places– just based on taste. And for only a buck, yea, I can live with that. The actual quality of the pizza is similar to that which you might receive at some sort of sporting event. There’s some mozzerella, tomato sauce, and ok bread that won’t discombobulate if you were to get up and cheer. It’s also not too greasy, which is a huge benefit if you eating on the go. I think what you really have to understand here, is that on the price to taste to quantity ratio, this pizza is f*****g phenomenal. New York is such an expensive place to live, and if you want to eat well, that can almost be just as expensive. So the fact that you can get decent, semi-filling pizza, that won’t clog your s**t up, for only $ 1, it’s pretty awesome to see. Because the actual taste is still below all the other great places in the city, I can’t in good conscience give them a 5 star.

This is dollar pizza. Obviously don’t expect much. At times it can be quite doughy, and undersauced and undercheesed. Some of the patrons that this place attracts can be quite seedy, if you know what I mean. All I can say is, stay alert while you’re scarfing down your dollar pizza.

I mean, it’s a dollar… What better is $ 1 for New York style pizza? Not a lot of availability to choose from. But then again, it’s $ 1.

It’s there, it’s always open, it’s cheap, and it’s good enough. That’s really the only way to explain it. Don’t take your visiting tourist friends here for dinner as an example of good New York pizza, take them here at 3am when you’re walking home from your fourth bar. It’ll be there, open, cheap, and good enough.

One dollar pizza. ONE dollar pizza. ONEDOLLARPIZZA! When walking around NYC, it’s only natural to get a little peckish as you smell all of the different kinds of food on every block. 2 Bros Pizza offers an inexpensive, tasty way to curb your appetite; $ 1 cheese pizza slices. While the pizza won’t go down in history as the most amazing pizza ever, 2 Bros Pizza offers a decent sized slice with the proper amount of sauce and cheese. My partner and I split a slice and a bottle of water and our total was $ 2. Can’t beat those prices!

Came here Saturday night at around 4am. Definitely a few things wrong — first, I think the floor is tilted or something, because nobody could seem to stand straight. Also, the people all around me were slurring their words, so maybe they use too much cheese or sauce? That rarely happens to me at other pizza spots. Finally, the next morning I woke up with a headache and didn’t feel great all day. So all in all, good value for the price.

I don’t care what anyone says. Two Bros dollar slice is the best pizza ever. The slices are always fresh and hot since they’re constantly making pies. These dudes work hard, they almost never have a break from customers because people keep coming in. Tip your damn cashier!

Hands down the best $ 1 Pizza I’ve had in the entire city. They have at least 6 people working in a closed space and you’re literally seeing everything they’re doing while waiting in line for your slice(s). Very fast service and I almost always opt for the $ 2.75 special that comes with 2 slices and a soda. The slices with topping are $ 1.50 and really worth it. They have the usual, Basil, Red Peppers/Seeds, Garlic, Salt to add to the almost perfect $ 1 taste. To me, I like it better than Grimaldis/Lombardi because at least with this place, there’s no burnt crust, you definitely get more than what you pay for and you walk out a winner in the end. If you choose to dine in, table seating is fairly comfortable though there are limited seats and with the standing table, there’s plenty of space for you to dine in and other patrons are usually courteous. The only thing that could have possibly made the Pizza experience more enjoyable is perhaps beer. :-)

Dollar slice and you play the roulette of whether the pizza is room temperature warm or just hard as a cardboard. When you do hit the jackpot, you get the hot one from the oven(chances increase during lunch as they run low on pizza, but the wait is longer. Its like waiting for the full moon. Maybe once every 25 th try but who wants to play those odds). Most times, its not worth taking your chances. You can ask for a pizza to be reheated but that only bring it back to room temperature warm. Essentially you are just eating a carb stuffer with some tomatoe sause and cheese on it. It will never be something special. 2 bros is the essential survivor food for poor workers in the area or grad students. Nobody eats at 2 bros thinking best pizza ever. Its usually a situation where you are picking between 2 worse of evils and then you rational how great of a deal this. 10 minutes after you are done, I usually take my food walk of shame. I’m not 100 proud but I been here multiple times, this is what I have learned. 1) toppings, if you can afford it. Get it. Actual topping ingredients. 2) when your pizza is reheated(especially the case of topping slice-its thicker and morr ingredients). If you wait right there, pizza will come out luke warm room temperature. This is what you do, once in the oven, walk to the side– check ur phone. Get some fresh air. The idea is if you are out of sight, out of mind. Hopefully they forget about you and will leave the pizza in there for 10 minutes. Normal pizza shop, it will be burnt by now. At 2 bros, it will come out hot. 3) use that red chili fakes. Use it alot. Add some flavor !!!

Pretty much as good as $ 1 pizza gets. Definitely the perfect end-of-the-night drunk food for me and my friends. Only takes cash, so make sure to come prepared. Or be like me and just hang with friends who always have cash!

Was in a cheesy pizza kind of mood, so we decided to step into this little pizza spot. With $ 1 signs all over the windows, we opted for the $ 1 cheese pizza. We were lucky to get a couple of slices right out of the oven … yessss. It was pretty good, considering the awesome deal. I would only go again if we were in the area again and was in the cheesy pizza kind of mood.

Lunch in Chelsea with a very strict budget calls for cheap and quick eats– pizza. 2 Bros. Pizza for slice is actually $ 2.50 as I ordered the pepperoni. The pepperoni was rather quite salty and the sauce was rather bland. High tables for standing only as you eat on the go while pedestrians on the sidewalk peer inside with their watchful eyes. Ergo do not expect chairs. Dingy and small interior space. Do not expect first class quality care service. What can $ 1.00 earn for good quality food + service in 2014? Quality of pizza, surely, is not the greatest, not the healthiest, and not the most filling. Space is rather unclean with rubbish every where and debris from eating. Customers appear to have origins from poor social skills and poor social responsibility as they do not pickup their rubbish when finished eating.
