We have occasionally visited this MacDonalds and always found it to be notably the worst Mac Donalds. However, last week we were truly disgusted. The french fries tasted as though the oil was rancid. We had to toss all of the food. Be careful. The place simply covers very bad practices.

This is definitely the WORST McDonald’s in the area. Throughout the 3 in Norwood, this one always takes forever. They need a renovation to look like all of the newer McDonald’s, and they need to spruce up the parking lot and just make everything look better. The staff are consistently friendly, but this place does nothing for me. The other McDonalds: 1600 Providence Highway &31 Providence Highway are both much better.

Super unhappy. Went here last night after 10 — sisters salad had an uncut McChicken patty on it. Then I tried going back today for my own salad and they gave me no dressing or silverware! They say you get what you pay for at McDonald’s, but listen– I worked here before. It’s not that hard! The same asshole who handed my sisters salad over last night was the same person today. I used to enjoy coming through here to see what’s changed since working here 10 years ago– looks like I’ll be making healthier decisions with better service from now on. Thanks!

This is the slowest McDonald’s I have ever been to. Peak times, non-peak times, whatever. You’re in for the long haul. The food tends to be poorly-made as well. The customer-facing employees are nice and seem efficient enough, though there only seems to be two people on shift at any given time. The problem’s obviously in the kitchen. That said, I’ve asked for hot sauce for my breakfast burrito EVERYTIME, and EVERYTIME, they give me mild sauce. Without fail. The burrito itself is dried out and stuff is falling out of it because it’s not properly folded. Also, it’s wrapped in plain paper and sealed with scotch tape. That last bit is probably not anyone’s fault at this particular restaurant — I mean, maybe they’re just not being sent the proper wrappers and stickers — but it really adds to the overall feeling of «eh, whatever.» It’s still edible, or I’d stop going entirely, but, ugh. I’ve never been to a McD’s that’s so consistently subpar. And SLOW.

The kitchen staff here really takes the«fast» out of fast food. It’s painfully slow. The long, snaking line that goes all the way around the parking lot is not because the guy taking your order and money can’t get it together or the woman giving you your food is clueless… because they aren’t. They are ready to take your order as soon as you drive up, are nice/friendly… so what’s the problem? When you finally get to the pick up window(yeah! and if it seemed like 10 minutes had passed, it’s because it had) there is the nice person working, looking aggravated that they are waiting on the kitchen for all of the orders. Inevitably, some food will be hot, some cold. You can’t blame her though; it’s like being at a restaurant and taking it out on your server. I went inside once, and it was the same, so I guess the answer is to simply go to another location if in the area?

Absolutely, ignorant employee. I was at the McDonald’s on Friday, October 26, 2012. I wouldn’t normally write a review about a fast food place but the experience was awful. There was a young guy running the drive-through window and he seemed nice and service oriented. He was pushed out of the way by a very rude girl a few years older than him. She takes my card and runs it and it doesn’t swipe correctly. She says«we don’t take this card.» The card is a Visa so I was a little bit annoyed that she would completely try to lie to me and treat me like a moron. So I said, it is a Visa run it again. It doesn’t swipe again because of their swipe machine. She says it is rejected. I say enter it manually which she looks at me like I have two heads. I ask for the manager and he comes over. He runs the card and presto it works. I was sure to mention to him, in front of the ignorant employee, that she was not service focused and was completely rude and he should do a better job of training his employees. He somewhat took my suggestions but walked away. The nice young guy that was pushed out of the way by the mean bully said to me in a whisper(probably out of fear) «thank you, you are right and sorry.» Scary that McDonald’s would enable and allow a hostile environment to exist. I know that McDonald’s does a ton in the community and I’m sure this is not the type of employee or behavior they condone.

Not my first choice of McDonald in the area. Try the new one near the Walpole Mall.
