Okay so the negative comments have some ground. I went on a Monday and wasn’t packed the waitress did a good job with the all you can eat fried chicken. The best flavor is the Garlic Soy Sauce. For the most part ALL of the chicken flavors were good. Over all good experience. I would recommend it.

The manager here is the best. She is quite possibly the happiest person on the planet. Always get a warm and welcoming greeting, always service with a smile. The whole crew here is on point. The chicken is what to get here. They do it all kinds of ways here –fried, with choice of sauces or traditional style whole chicken(ton-dak) all of it is delicious. They have a good spicy Army stew or «budae chigae» made with spam, sausage, kimchi, ground beef, tofu and other stuff served in a hot pot. This always hits the spot. More choices on beer from the tap like Blue Moon and Stella or Coors Light. My usual is a pitcher of Hite with a good friend or two.

Part 1. The atmosphere here is very hip. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and seated right away. The food options and menu is pretty simple. Just be assertive, they have answers for almost every questions. I can totally see myself coming here with friends to feast on the all you can eat fried chicken for $ 9.99 and drinking soju. I am currently waiting for the chicken I will post a part 2 of this review when I actually get to taste the food. Part 2. So an update. I noticed after waiting for 20 mins. The wait is ridiculously long! The resaurant is pretty empty. When asked why the wait is very long. She told us that it’s very busy… I’m not quite sure if she’s working at the same place I’m eating. Took a second look and realized the menu is insanely expensive. We almost had to ask for everything instead of the waitress taking initiative to refill our drinks when they see it empty. They also seemed understaffed. Sadly I am going to take out two stars. This place is nice and food tasted great but without good service the food doesn’t really matter to me. I was really hoping this place would be good only to be disappointed.

Right now they have a $ 9.99AYCE chicken menu from 5−10pm. It’s soooo good. And the side cabbage salad and popcorn goes nice as you wait for your chicken to come out. The fried dream chicken is sooooo crispy and their special dipping sauce is delicious. They have a special spicy rice cake that you could order with the AYCE chicken with $ 1 extra if you want to add ramen to it which we always do! So worth it! And we like spicy so, the tsunami chicken is a must. Great service and nice atmosphere for AYCE chicken place. And they serve few beers on tap too.

I’ve eaten at restaurants similar to this place, but I have to admit the waiters and waitresses here, are EXTREMELY friendly. They were all very nice, and when the food came out, we were pretty hungry… Or at least bae was. Haha, We ordered the $ 14.99 chicken, regular, no sauce, and then we had also ordered a side of steamed egg per his request. Food was good, and bonus they also give you popcorn at the beginning for you to munch on, which was pretty awesome! If you also want to, make sure to check in here, they give you a free beer(glass not a pitcher) with any $ 20 or more purchase! :) The guy was super happy about that!

Unfortunately none of my dreams came true and my first experience here was a nightmare. My party was greeted right away and sat down and we were all excited to try korean fried chicken. The server seemed friendly enough and promptly brought us salad and water after taking our order. 20 minutes pass… okay so fresh fried chicken can take awhile…30 minutes…45 minutes. At this point no refills on salad or water at all. My friend goes up to explain our wait situation and is handed 1 basket of random fried chicken ummm where’s the rest of our order? After over an hour I go up to the counter myself and speak with whom I think is the manager. She apologizes many times and offers us a discount but this obviously doesn’t really fix the issue of us not receiving our food. In the end she ends up just letting us have what little was given to us for free. As this is appreciated it was a waste of our time and appetite to have gone through such bad service. Also, the wait was inexcusable as there was a party seated after us that successfully received all their orders and was done by the time we even got a second basket of chicken!!!

Didn’t really know about the place until my friend suggested it but it’s a Korean bar. There were plenty of tables and the ambience is pretty chill(although I hated hearing the Selfie song. So annoying!). Three of us shared a big bottle of Hite beer for about $ 10.00 which was a great deal. We each easily had three mugs full. Didn’t taste the food since we just came from Korean BBQ but overall it was a cool place to sit and have some girl talk.

I’m here now with two girlfriends. Had to walk our credit cards to the register ourselves after not being able to flag a server down for a really long time. Tried their pork hock which was decent. The strawberry smoothie I asked for was more slush-like. Mehh. Pros: –Kelly the bartender/server is nice –Opens late

I usually come here every Friday dinner. The atmosphere here is very noisy and they blast their music sometimes, but this place is not so bad. Most of their items on the menu is average(maybe below average on some), but their chicken is absolutely tasty. The boneless chicken was very crispy and wasn’t dry like some places. Their sweet mustard sauce on the side compliment the saltiness of the chicken very well. The Cons: We constantly have flag our waiters and waitress(or press the button) since they forget their order sometimes. However I don’t go to restaurant for service, I go for their food and this place deserves a 4star.

Us koreans love our chicken and beer! And for those that don’t live in Ktown it’s hard to find a really good chicken(tong dak) place. The dream is my to go place when I don’t want to drive out to ktown just for chicken and beer. What I love is they actually use whole chicken rather than ganish hens(hope in spelled that right). They have combo deal with different types of chicken styles. You can bbq, spicy, or regular… and much more. They truly have a variety in their menu which includes other dishes. They even have cajun seafood. They have a $ 9.99 special where their chicken is $ 9.99 on the 9th, 19th, and 29th of every month! They are located in a plaza where you can go to no rae bang(Korean style karoke in your own private room(and after all the eating, drinking, and singing… you can head right on over to pioneer spa(jjim jil bang). On the weekends you can even stay the night at pioneer spa. Food is good, ambiance is good, and location is(being in the plaza) is good. I’m a regular :)

Sometimes, I often wonder why I drive so far for a quick drink when the Dream Restaurant is a hop, skip, and a jump away from my house. Then, I realize afterwards that the personality of a bar is a great reason why we avoid certain places and favor others. The vibe at the Dream Restaurant = OK The prices at the Dream Restaurant = BETTER If the location was more appealing and the crowd enticing, I would really frequent the place more often. But, it’s kinda drabby inside, with relics and bar furniture that no one else wanted, all stuck together in one location. There’s a half sized bar inside, but I think it’s mostly for show. Generally, the cocktails at Korean bars are over priced, so I just tend to decline. It’s a good way to keep separation amongst the two, so that when I feel like hard alcohol, I simply visit an American bar. As for the crowd, it’s a quiet bunch, usually Korean men in their mid 40’s, having that one last hoorah before heading home from work. Reliving the glory days for a few hours as the wife and kids wait eagerly at the castle. I sometimes see a younger crowd, but that’s usually during the weekends and when people don’t want to travel far for a quick buzz. There are several flat screen TV’s against the wall, which are great for watching the sporting event of the night. That right there is a definite plus for me. The main staple of liquor consists of the Korean usual — beer(bottled & draft), soju, Korean wine, soju cocktails, and makgeolli. I can’t remember the last time I dined here, but from the looks of it, the food could be a hit or a miss. There are plenty of tables available, with tons of parking in the adjacent lot and a few spots up front. The driveway in the front of the building is ONEWAY only, with the entrance going East on 166th Street. «It was all a dream, I used to read Word Up magazine…» — Juicy by The Notorious B.I.G. TWO’S COMPANY, THREE’S A CROWD 1) Visit this place on any date that contains 9. Meaning, the 9th, 19th, or 29th. The fried chicken is $ 9.99 all day and night. 2) Get your drink on and head to Luxor Music Studio next door. They have great karaōke rooms to get your song on. I promise that it’s a fitting way to end the night. 3) I put this down, this patch is THE best hangover cure ever. I get no gain whatsoever for helping you out, just the satisfaction that you’re gonna feel that much better. Simply, give mad props to me and the Drunk Pirate when it works( ). Each day with a 9 in it(9 th 19th29th) fried chicken is $ 9.99. Haven’t been here is awhile. Fried chicken is always hit or miss. Lakers vs Clippers season opener. They do breakfast, lunch, and dinner now. Big enough parking. Good place to go and watch a game, never crowded. Has soccer game on, which is bonus for me. They remodeled the inside to be more casual dining. Price is now combo 1 — 8 from $ 19 — $ 38. 5 types of beer. Has salad. Korean dishes. Vibe is now for 40yrs + group.

One of my favorite Korean bars in the Cerritos area. I love the fact that they have booths with large tables. Every time I’ve been there it’s always not too busy and not too loud. The food is pretty good and service has been good every time, no complaints.
