finally found a fresh-made ddokbokki place abt 15mins from my office. It tasted so much better than pre-made ones that I usually got at S-Mart. Love it! And I’m gonna try more stuff when I have time, for now, I’d gone twice for the ramen ddokbokki.

Amazing soy garlic fried chicken wings!!! Great Kim bap assortment and all tastes great. Dukbokki is okay. Frozen Thai ice tea and rice drink are good too. A little slow to make the chicken but it’s made to order. Inside HMart.

I know this is a kimbap(Korean style rolls) place, but the ddukbokki(spicy rice cakes) on a stick are DELICIOUS! Ooey, gooey, and chewy inside while crispy and crunchy outside. Get some! As for their rolls, I’ve tried a few and they’re definitely better than the regular kimbap you get inside other Korean markets and the variety here is unbeatable. They’re located inside H-Mart. With plenty of parking, it’s easy to just pick up a roll or two for a quick lunch. It’s worth a try if you’re in the area or driving past it, but don’t go out of your way for it.

High quality ingredients. Shikhae slushy is out of this world. Try the bbq beef, that’s the best. I haven’t had better in the States. Can probably hold its own amongst the best in Korea too! mmmm

Best place for quick lunch pick up. Your most likely to spend around 8 – 10 dollar. For the money is it worthy? Fuck yea!!! Screw the long reviews. I give 4⁄5 due to one bad experience where the rice drink or something was way god dam sweet. It felt like I was drinking raw sugar canes that wasn’t even fully dissolved. They need to control how they brew that shit then they will sell more then just wasting everyday. FYI there’s a lot of menu that isn’t listed on the menu board. More in fake displays at front.

Another delicious eatery inside HMart. Spicy rice cakes, kimbap and those rice balls have a spicy surprise in the middle. They will let you sample the goods. Good prices good food.

Been a royal customer of Awoolim for years. It had been my breakfast, my lunch, my tea time snack, my dinner. Not the cheapest kimbap you can get in korean markets but definitely is an outstanding one. I guess my favorite ranking here would be cheese, tuna, fish cake, California roll, bulgogi. They usually have a mixed kimbap lunchbox for $ 6.99 if you cannot decide which one you want to get. Also, sometimes they have special ones like katsu kimbap, hotdog kimbap, spam kimbap etc. Their catering kimbap platters look impressive as well, it will be my #1 food choice if I’m hosting a party.

I have been somewhat addicted to this place lately and also got my parents addicted. For those that are not familiar with kimbap, it’s the Korean version of California roll or Spam musubi. It’s usually made with some type of meat, usually bulgogi(bbq beef) or sausage, and has egg, daikon radish, spinach, and shredded carrots, all wrapped up in rice and dry seaweed. I grew up with this stuff when I was in Korea and was the most popular picnic food. It’s been a while since I had these because I’ve only had the prepackaged ones sold at Korean markets which have all been disappointing. This place sells several different varieties of kimbap, ranging from bbq beef to some odd ones like burdock. My favorite and the one I recommend is bbq beef. It’s the closest to the traditional kimbap I grew up with in Korea and is also the tastiest. The beef filling is the best I had. It is flavored really well and tender. I like the fact they put lot more filling than rice. It’s about 50% beef, 40% vegetables, and 10% rice. Other places put too much rice. Yes, you do pay more here but it’s worth it. The bbq beef kimbap is $ 5.50 for 20 pieces and comes with extra yellow daikon radish on the side. They tend to sell out quickly on the bbq beef. If you don’t see a packaged one on the counter just ask them to make one for you. I had to do this one few occasions but didn’t have to wait too long. They usually have all the ingredients ready so they just have to roll them up and cut. I also tried their combination package that comes with four different types of kimbap, 4 California rolls, and kimchi rice ball. The kimchi rice ball was really good too but I prefer getting all beef kimbap rather than the variety. This place is located inside the Super H Mart. It’s one of the food courts located on the left side of the market when you walk in.
