Once owned by Minnesota Vikings players, the food is about as good as anything you’d expect from the Vikings, which is to say not very, but, in fairness, I’m a Packers fan.

We went here today because my aunt and uncle were staying in Rochester and we live in New Hope so Northfield was a good halfway point. I was disappointed that this is self titled a «family restaurant» but there was very little family seating. When we got there was no seating for our group of four, luckily, by the time my family got there a spot opened up. Everyone got burgers and I got grilled cheese. The staff was very young and very immature. Everyone liked the burgers, the grilled cheese was just average, and the fries were really good. We sat talking for a while and one of the employees took up one off the larger booths instead of taking one of the smaller ones to do her homework. She also kept interrupting our conversation even after my aunt told her we were there to catch up and visit with each other but this young girl did not, obviously, get the hint. Overall it was an okay experience and we both agreed if we were ever in the area we would eat there but get it to go.

My mushroom and Swiss Burger was excellent! The burger was delivered within about 5 minutes of my order but it did not taste like a fast food burger. I could taste a smokiness to the burger absent in fast food burgers. I highly recommend it.

Stopped in here while on a business trip and I’m glad I don’t have to come back. Ordered a pancake, sausage and hash browns, the pancake was very thick dry and cake like, the sausage was hockey pucks with all flavor cooked out. The hash browns was the best thing going here. Sorry but this place is not worth stopping at for breakfast maybe their lunch is good but I’ll never find out

I’ve only eaten here a handful of times and have had too many bad experiences.
Breakfast…cheap but ok food. My hash browns were still cold. And my husband asked for steak sauce and he was told no, steak sauce was reserved for dinner only. I’ve previously worked in the food service industry and have never seen a place that first, denied a customer such a simple request. And second, doesn’t write the cost of condiments in their food bill!
Dinner…I stopped after work to order the rib dinner to go. Got home and found I was given the wrong dinner. Ok… I can accept that it was my fault for not checking. However, I drove the 15 miles back to swap for the correct dinner. And here was my experience. The dinner I ordered was sitting on the counter and it was handed to me without even an apology. Not even an offer of a fresh made dinner. Should a customer have to ask?
Got home and my ribs and mashed potatoes were cold, my coleslaw was warm and my bun was complete mush from the condensation.
I have to say that this last experience was it for me. I’ve always believed in supporting small business. But this is one business I can no longer bring myself to support.

Not mind-​blowing but a pretty standard/​good hamburger. Wish there were a few more options on the menu but if in the mood for a basic hamburger this is probably the best place to go in Northfield. They are always well-​staffed so wait time isn’t bad at all. Good location right off the main roads in Northfield. Has a roadside truckstop/​diner feel to it which is good.

This is a love it or hate it hamburger café. I loved it as the meat in my burger was perfect and the whole hamburger worked well. I plan to eat here again and this place just works for me. My coworker didn’t like this place but two out of three of us loved it here.

Went back to visit my parents in Minnesota and my father really wanted to go here.
They have good burgers and dessert options.
I wish they had a few more healthy options.
All-​in-​all an okay place but nothing extraordinary.

Had the shrimp, fries & onion rings. Shrimp was crunchy and decent, especially for what you pay. Fries are average, but I was a big fan of the onion rings. Very much a local flavor almost fast food kind of place. People who worked there seemed to enjoy being there, service was very good and very friendly. Overall, in Northfield, an excellent experience I would recommend.

The «QB» as the locals call it, is a fantastic place for quick and tasty burgers, the best broasted chicken in town, and yummy fries. You can get a burger special with fries for under $ 6, and the service is quick, good for grabbing a quick sit-​down lunch if you don’t have much time.
You order from the counter, and then get served at the table. It’s a Northfield favorite.
