Extremely slow service… Took more than 20minutes to get our drinks after we ordered them. And another 45 minutes to get our food after that, all we ordered was a small pepperoni pizza, a Caesar salad, and a chicken parm sub. The pizza and salad came out and then 10 minutes later the(burned) sub/fries came out. The food was average. I can understand being slow when it’s busy but there were very few people there. Definitely don’t need to go back.

If you enjoy low-quality burnt pizza and microwaved Cisco products in the hold of a ship, Roberto’s is for you!

OK, here’s the thing. They make their own Caesar dressing and it’s stupendous. I’m in love with the fried pepperoni which they sell as a side. Their side veggies are amazing and everything is usually just delicious. The downside is that you need a LONG time to eat there. The service is very, very slow and it’s likely you won’t be seated right away. As long as you have like, 1.5 — 2 hours for dinner on a slow night, you’ll be fine. Just sit back, relax, and enjoy the waiting… Overall, we love this place. Just not when we have somewhere else to be.

My parents have been going to Robertos since they were dating. My dad even longer than that. Needless to say, Roberto’s is a family favorite. We haven’t ventured past the antipasto and Roberto’s special but we keep coming back for more. Can’t go wrong with the crunchy pepperoni on the antipasto and the delicious thin crust of the pizza. The place isn’t fancy but it is good.

As a Dad I am always in search of a fun place to bring my daughter.(Fun meaning family friendly, a place where we can both relax and enjoy the atmosphere and a decent meal.) Last night I took my daughter here and wow. The atmosphere was cozy and familiar. Family friendly and fun at the same time. The interior was vintage in a warm and familiar way. It felt like home to be honest with you. So thankful to have found this gem(why don’t other businesses follow suit?) awesome spot in Western Mass.

What a great way to end a holiday weekend! It was a very busy night and everything was great. They have the best pizzas! The pizza guy even came out to see how we liked it all. The entrees and appetizers are also really good. We loved our server too. Ashley did a great job taking care of our party of 15. We aren’t an easy group either… Ashley served us all lots of drinks and food without flinching and never lost her smile or sense of humor. If you’re ever in town and want great food, great prices in a casual, friendly and unpretentious atmosphere. Eat here.

My waitress here was a peach. Good food, good wine. Just came in for a salad, and was pleasantly surprised. I’ll definitely come back again.

Roberto’s is a great little restaurant right off downtown Northampton. They have a good variety of food. Although the quality is not the greatest it is still good food and affordable. The service is always good as well as the environment! If you are ever in the area you should stop by.

Tasty authentic Italian food, big portion sizes, fair prices. Only thing preventing the 5th star is they don’t serve the table bread which is almost customary for Italian restaurants! Will definitely return.

The Pros: Great eggplant parm. Good Pizza. Mmmmm. Garlic Knots. Gluten free options. Very nice staff. Very attentive and knowledgeable. Good prices. Good for Kids. The Cons: Slow service. Inside is a little dated. So, with the idea in mind that this is NOT an UPSCALE eatery, take it for what it is. It’s solid. Basic. Lots of comfort foods. A good selection of drinks. A nice local place to meet a friend. I always come back here. Typically for a veggie chop chop and something cheesy/bready.

We had a very large portioned yummy dinner for a great price!!! Our server was very sweet and on point. The caprese salad was more than enough for one meal, same with the chicken parmigiana. Very quaint and home style yet still a good selection of beer to pair with. Overall good bang for the buck and a relaxing night out!

Today was my first time trying Roberto’s. They make a delicious salmon and Alfredo pesto spaghetti. The salmon was perfect. The only thing I would change is the seasoning of the pasta. Needed more salt, pepper, and garlic. Great portion size. I had it for both lunch and dinner! I also got a chopped(large) salad. It was 8.50 and I have to say it was basically all lettuce and no veggies. It was disappointing. But I’ll definitely go again and try another entrée.

This is fantastic, thin crust pizza. The same recipes from the original owners. If you go here, just get pizza, the entrees aren’t worth it… but the pizza is awesome. The service also tends to be on the slower side, but friendly. As a native, it’s nice to have classic pizza still around. The new owners tried to update the décor, but all the crap hanging on the old(original) wood panel walls just looks tacky. There’s a tiny bar, but it’s a little too cramped for my taste. Parking can be tough in the area, so be warned. Being an old building, it’s not handicapped accessible easily(I think there’s a ramp at the back door) and only 2 handicapped spaces, so it’s tough to take my mom there. But the pizza is worth it! If they’re busy, there’s not really anywhere to wait, fyi.

I’ve had decent pizza here but this review is prompted by the insipid chop salad I ordered to go. What a poor excuse for a chop, making Wendy’s salads look like 5 star creations. It was tasteless and meager. I still cannot believe they charged me $ 8.50 for this small bowl of disappointment.

This place is a hidden gem! We came in for dinner on a rainy Friday night. Our waitress was a hoot and the food was excellent. The calamari was fresh and cooked perfectly. I expected overcooked, chewy squid but I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was! I ordered pasta puttanesca with spinach fettuccine, and was enjoying it so much, I got halfway through the meal before realizing they gave me the wrong kind of pasta! No big deal, but the waitress was kind enough to send us home with some dessert to make up for the error, she was a doll! If I ever find myself in Northampton again, I’ll be back!

Roberto’s is a quaint, classic place. We went last week for dinner with friends and were pleasantly surprised. We were seated at a small booth in the back. The décor is significantly outdated, and a little shabby but no matter. The food was very fresh and tasty. The red sauce on the spinach Fettuccini was slightly sweet yet had zest and zip. The salads were fresh and the dressing was very flavorful. The special casserole(which I did not taste) according to everyone else at the table was really special. The Chicken Marguerite was a bit overpowered by the abundant use of pesto, but it was still quite good. The highlight was the chocolate cake! So moist! The only downsides to eating here are: VERY slow service. The waitress and the food took ages, but when the food did come it was fresh and hot. The waitress was very disorganized, forgot several things(including the garlic bread! What a shame…) and was much too hyper and flustered. She was not professional at all. Overall we would go again for the great food, but maybe not during rush hour due to the below average service.

Went there the other night, for the first time, after shopping in Noho. We wil NEVER go there again… do not waste your money or time. 1) Atmosphere is HORRIBLE at best. I’d give it a –1, if we could. 2) Service, very, very slow. 3) Utensils, we could have bent our fork and knife with one hand, So CHEAP and TINNY. Just gross. 4) Paper napkins at dinner, no cloth. 5) Food, salads had no taste, pasta was just okay. There are PLENTLY of GOODEATS in Northampton. Suggest this to be, THELASTPLACEINTOWNTOGO!
